A burger that taste like the first time every time! Living in Cali In-N-Out becomes more of a tradition! Never lets me down, even if theres a wait! PS. the most affordable, thousand dollar burger! Cant even lie theres been times when we have lived off in-N-out! & with absolutely no regrets!

A bit slower than the other branches we’ve been to, but the Double Double and chocolate shake were delicious!

Consistently, the slowest in-n-out I’ve ever been to. I walked in, no one in line… Ordered right away. 4 orders in front of me. It took 14 minutes to get my cheeseburger and fries. Not cool. Managers need to figure it out.

The first time I came to this location was on a Sunday night around 8: pm. It was so strange because there were only two people working. I was the only one there so it wasn’t a problem but it was a blatant reminder that I was in a middle of a nowhere hick town that hates Palm Trees. The second visit; this place had been discovered! This time I counted 15 people working it on a Sunday night. This location is solid! Fries are fresh and hot! Bun is soft and not dried out. # The Placerville City Council voted 3 – 2 in 2006 to deny In-N-Out their trees because the city said it didn’t match the landscaping plan. As I said, this is a hick town.

Around 6pm tonight an employee was standing outside, manually taking orders due to the long line, and he was just wonderful. What a pleasant experience!

The staff here was on point. They are always ready to help you out. If you are standing in front of the counter, they make sure you are helped. I needed some cheese added in my burger for my kid and they took care of it quick and had me sit down so they could just bring it to us. It’s all about customer experience. Good job to the team working 1.31.16 Sunday @ 5pm. I’m sure all shifts are good. Thanks ya’ll.

I love me some In-n-out, but seriously… Who doesn’t. Whenever I get In-n-out I always go big because I don’t wanna go home. So! I get a double double animal style and animal style fries with a dr. Pepper. This particular location took FOREVER, but our food was good as expected and the service was pretty friendly.(As expected)

I struggle with throwing out a tip or a review. I’m going with a review because it seems to be a recurring issue with this location. First things first. I am a complete fan of I&O and have been for decades. This is a prime stop for the weekend crowd going up to or coming back from the Tahoe area. I get that it’s bound to be crazy busy. What I don’t get is what seems to be the recurring lack of staffing, in number or experience, to accommodate this mass of humanity converging here for some roadside nourishment on the drive to or from. This stop was around 2:30 on Sunday so I would suspect some sort of recovery from the peak lunch crowds. As always this franchise, and location, delivers quality food at a slightly slow pace for fast food but well above and beyond fast given all is prepared fresh to order. I don’t mind the waiting a bit for a tasty fresh burger. The staff was engaging and friendly as always, On this particular trip it wasn’t the best product, but still very acceptable. What killed an otherwise positive visit, this time as well as quite a few previous, was the total disarray of the inside and outside. There we no chili peppers(a fairly standard condiment), no lemons at the soda fountains. Napkins were nearly empty, the tables were so filthy I had to get a stack of napkins soak them and scrub the table. There was food all over the floor. The restroom was a compete mess. Several trash cans were overflowing. The staff on the floor seemed disoriented and so overwhelmed. If the burgers weren’t sounding so damn good option after a drive over the summit I would likely hold off to the next I&O down the road. This stop is 100% when the crowds are light but it’s time to realize you are going to get slammed and need to plan accordingly for that returning crowd on Sundays and the end of holiday weekends(also the Friday flow). I know I probably sound like a whiner but the I&O model is a simple one that can handle this sort of onslaught with the right staff being keept on task. I’ll be back and hope to update this with a better experience soon.

This is your average In-N-Out. The service is slow and the food is salty but decent. They always get it right. #1 Animal…

I have been to many In & Out Burger places and this one is the best… they toast the bun just perfectly and it has that little crunch against the lettuce and tomatoes, which is heavenly. The In & Outs in the Bay Area don’t seem to toast the buns at all or not enough. I always get the grilled cheese(no meat) and it is perfect here… My dogs(8 of them) always get the salt free meat patties and we are all happy… Thank you Placerville In & Out… You’re the best!!!

worst animal style fries the 2nd time. fries were cold & old maybe left overs from the afternoon traffic, could be lunch. this the 2nd time this has happened to me. i would not be ordering the animal style fries during the early dinner hours from now on. I ate ‘em cuz i was hungry. Pros: mostly good food. Cons: sometimes you get cold old food

I went in for the first time ever late night and Johnny the cashier was super nice super cool. I was shocked to see an in and out in the middle of nowhere of Highway 50 and guess what there was no line not one person in a car and I live in the bay area and there’s always at least 10 to 15 cars. THANKSJOHNNY !!

I love In N Out, but this one is different! You may have noticed every In N Out has the same floor plan. This one almost does, but they’ve switched the men’s and women’s rooms, so unfortunate mistakes are much more probable here.

Always a good experience when I go to In and Out Burger in Placerville. Even though they are always busy when i go the food is always fresh! Make sure you order animal style. I don’t know why i didn’t order it earlier. Great Burgers, Fries and Lemonade!!!

If you are reading this… that amazing because I feel like everyone has been to innout at least once. California innout is vastly superior to all innouts located in Utah. This is my hometown one so… of course I am a fan. I have easily spent $ 1000 in this establishment in my life… which makes me question my money managing abilities while typing it. Nice and easy menu… dont forget to get it one-upped…(lol) dont actually ask for that. Unless you want blank stares accompanied by smiles(great service) Fries as at all innouts are not my favorite but others love them. Great shakes, and they give out free hugs… once again dont do that. THEVERDICT: Great place to go to when it isnt busy, though they are very efficient it just is way too hectic if busy. It is a nice midnight snack/meal/artery clogger. What else can I say… oh yeah get ask for your burger«maxed out» ;)

When I first moved to Folsom from SoCal, this was the only In N Out I knew of in NorCal, so we had to come here at least once a week for several years. I love this In N Out. I came in the other day to grab a Neopolitan shake from the front counter because there was a long line in the drive through. As soon as I stepped into the line, someone opened a second register and called me over. When I said Neopolitan shake, someone else heard me and started making it, so it was finished by the time I was done paying. I came out so fast that my mom got scared when I opened the door to get back into the car. This was one of the most perfectly executed Neopolitan shakes I’ve ever had. The flavors were separate, the way they’re supposed to be, and I could taste each one(sometimes they are muddled). My one critique of this location is that, unless I specifically requested well-done, I have found pink in some of the burgers over the years, so if that bothers you, I would definitely ask for well-done. They are always clean, and the clerks are extra-friendly.
