Great food. Just what we were looking for on the way back from skiing. Not expensive. Pretty authentic. Food came fast.

Locals say this is the best Mexican place in town. Kind of means there aren’t too many Mexican restaurants in town… Food was good. Gentleman was kind and courteous. Selection was good. Ordered the chicken tacos. Found them a bit dry. Restaurant is a bit off the beaten path from Main Street Placerville. Maybe that’s why locals like it? Good food. Not amazing or extremely authentic but large and filling. Wish the salsa bar had fresh marinated onions w/lime. My fav! Might have to try the carnitas next time. Noticed most of the customers were male. Just an observation.

Best burritos in town. Hands down ! Love the authenticity. And good prices ! I have lived down the street from there for 7 years and it’s always my go to when I need some Mexican food in my life. It’s always nice to grab some free chips with your meal as well. I would defentily go there and check it out if your in placerville ca. By the way burritos are huge ! The building is a little run down. but they always have customers.

I been driving by this place for a year and finally decided to give it a try since to date I have only found mediocre mexican food in el dorado county. So glad I finally stopped here. I’m giving five stars based on the chips, salsa, super burrito chile colorado and great service. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else.

Ok food, ok prices. The service is why I’m giving 2 stars. The guy working the register was pretty mean to my mother in law. Basically, she wanted green instead of red sauce and he argued back and forth with her about what she ordered. I won’t be going back.

Best mexican food in Placerville, good value, always clean with friendly staff — everything I look for in a Mexican restaurant and way better than I expected to find here. Why would anyone spend the about the same amount of money at Taco Bell, when you could be here?

Larger than expected I had a delicious veggie supreme burrito. They use crema fresca NOT sour cream which is perfect. While waiting for my burrito to arrive I sampled all three of the TASTY salsas served with warm chips for free while you wait. Service was friendly. Place is a «hole in the wall» worth discovering. Pass up the chain fast food and feast here!

Best salsa in placerville! Love the hot sauce one. Had a carnitas burrito just rice and meat so I can gauge the carnitas. Really good as well. I will be going to here from now on. A little out of the way but worth it.

Great pastor burrito. I only get to come here every couple years but its always worth it. It ranks in the top of my mexican food joints and I live in SoCal with a taquerias on every corner. As far as price goes… WAKEUPAMERICA… with minimum wage at $ 9.00 hr. everything is costing more. A burger fries and a coke cost almost $ 10 at Carls Jr. during my drive up.

Yummy & authentic!!! Warm & friendly. If you have lived in the Placerville area for some time OR were a rafter/kayaker(back in the day), you will remember the famous TACOHOUSE at the corner of Hwy 193& Coloma Rd. TIJUANATAQUERIA’s food is every bit as good, sans owner«Charlie» & the crazy, fun loving waitresses which once took your order @ the old Taco House. T.T. is reasonably priced and their food is delicious. Good food, good prices, what else could you ask for? Well… maybe those«crazy waitresses»! I am leaving the house right now to pick up our dinner from the SCRUMPTIOUS Tijuana Taqueria!
