The other locations are much better. None of the food here has flavor. Best part of this place is the coffee. Hashbrown have no taste, very disappointed:(I wish they had same menu as other locations.

Waited an hour to be seated, which was fine besides the layout of the restaurant. In order for the servers to serve, they need to walk past everyone who is waiting for a table. We spent an hour dodging servers. The food was nothing to brag about. The pancakes tasted like they had corn meal in them, dry and gross. We ordered a scrambler and we got cheese on it and the cheese was a slice melted on top. Hash browns had no tast and were not worth the calories. Overall, we were disappointed and will go to the other five pancake places in Plainfield that are better.

There are better options. Seems like nothing ever lasts at this location. Staff was not friendly, service was slow, food was mediocre, & it was def not worth the price. Got to Westfield Rest. On Caton Farm & County Line Rd… nice family friendly place, good food, great service & has proven it self in the same location same owners14 years +!

We were sat quickly, and after consulting the menu for a bit we were appoached by our server(who, at the time of this review, was servicing 5 tables.) She was friendly and complimented my wife’s choice of breakfast. The coffee was on the bland side, with moderate acidity, and the water was tap, though served in a carafe, which I prefer(saves me the trouble of bothering the server) We received our order in about 8 – 10 minutes. I chose the California skillet, and it was flavorful with goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and spinach. My wife had the Pot Roast skillet, which was very tasty, with strong roast beef flavor. Once served, our server did not check back until I was done with my skillet. I had not received my pancakes yet. She apologized, brought my pancakes, and offered to take two dollars off of the tab, which she presented after a while. The check presentation was friendly, and the server thanked us. TL:DR — The food was really good. The coffee was meh. The service was friendly, but spotty. We’ll go again, especially if there’s a coupon…

4 stars for the food, barely two stars for the service. My wife and I eat here a good amount due to location from home and work. I can never complain about the food as they have a lot of choices and most if not all are very good. My bigger issue is the service, very sterile and borderline corporate for a seven store mom and pop. It seems like the servers are there to take your order and move on, not even bothering to getting to know your clientele. We had a recent situation where we went in on a Wednesday where the restaurant in the afternoon was not very busy. And it still took forever to get the order finished. The poor waitress I had was probably the only one on the floor that day; when I voiced my concerns to the cashier, she was more concerned about passing the buck vs taking accountability for the malaise and deliberateness in the restaurant. So, enjoy the meal, because i feel most will, but be prepared to have someone just take your order and move on without the personal touch.

Place is a total joke. They have kids managing the place. How can 16 year Olds assist seniors and adults. It’s a joke, even with us having 2 problems at my table not one manager, aka«child«came up to my table to address the issue. I ordered a side of sausage links well done. They give me links from the deep fryer. First off, if you cook sausage links on the grill and people ask for well done, you leave it on the flat top grill longer, not say to yourself hey let’s speed up the process and deep fry them so the are dry like sand. I sent them back and said can you tell them I need them on the grill not deep fryer, well let me tell you. The hard headed cooks remade them. And here’s what they did. They put them in the deep fryer to once again speed up the process and then, put them on the grill to kinda make grill makes to trick me and give the illusion that they were cooked on the grill. Well this is to the owner or child manager. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 30 years, when you cook sausage on the flat top grill, the ends will not be the same color and the sausage will not be cooked evenly on the outside. The only way to get sausage the same color and a crispy dryed up texture especially on the ends of the link, is to cook them at the same temperature at the same time in a thing called a deep fryer. So you might be a able to trick all these old people, but you lost my business and I will never recommend this place to anyone. Horrible management, no leadership, got the Mexicans in the bad doing what they want and running their own show. Who the hell leaves kids in charge, this was my 3rd time here and I’ve had issues eveytime. I hope this place figures out something soon cause it won’t be here by the end of the year.

My husband and I ate here for breakfast. We were seated immediately and our waitress was Amanda. She was very attentive, friendly and took very good care of us. I ordered the denver skillet with my eggs over medium. I cant tell you how many times at different restaurants I order my eggs this way and they come out over cooked but they were perfect here. I really enjoyed my meal. My husband ordered the pot roast skillet with scrambled eggs and had them deep fry the potatoes. His was very good too the pot roast was a bit bland by itself but was really good with the gravy and very tender. We will be back.

The 4 stars is for the food I got, not some of the others in my party. I got the Fiesta skillet-chorizo, peppers, tomatoes. which was pretty good. I definitely have had better skillets, but no complaints. From my party– Veggie omellete, lacking flavor and the eggs were not made up to par. Blueberry Blintzes, the cheese wasn’t very good, and the blueberries were the syrupy artificial kind. If i had to come back again, I wouldn’t mind, but nowhere near the breakfast elites. True rating=3.5/5

This place is still great! I don’t get all the bad reviews and to the person who said the marinated skirt steak is bad is crazy. I just had it cooked medium and it was tender buttery steak that melted in my mouth! Better than a steakhouse! I will def be back and recommend the marinated skirt steak cooked medium! Delicious!

Have tried this place several times. The staff seems to be overworked along with not enough workers or waitresses. Notice there is large turnover of waitress staff. They give you a lot of food but service is slow with food being cold when it gets to your table. Also no cream for coffee on table thus had to wait but w/waitress so busy, coffee was cold by time got the cream. There was no ketchup on the table, had to ask for it. Overall seems to be a lack of attention to details. I like the natural sugar in the brown packets, they have lots of the«poison» sweetners on the table but only two packets of the good stuff, again, had to ask.

Very friendly service. Waitress, hostess all top notch. Unfortunately all food had no flavor, bland as could be. Ordered the 3-cheese omelette, with pancakes. No flavor at all. Also ordered the blueberry shake. It was huge. For the size, was well worth the $ 5.00 But again, no flavor. Too much vanilla ice cream and not enough blueberries. Won’t be back, but service was great.

I have tried this place a couple times now, worst coffee I have ever had… And the breakfast was not close to the quality of southern Belle. If 30 wasn’t mess up, I would also suggest Diamonds by the mall, but you can’t get there with all the road work. I gave them 2 stars because they have been open only a few weeks. In a few more weeks I will try them again, and hopefully they have their act together by then.

Plenty of parking. Nice extensive menu. Lots of specials. Service was good. Thought the prices were a bit on the high side. 235 for coffee? 265 for a choc milk? They make damn near everything under the sun & its all gr8! Still they are considerably higher than the other Blueberry Hills & I cant figure out why? They are in a good location near St Marys church. Its a spot that has never succeeded but Blueberry Hill is well known throughout the suburbs so it shouldn’t be a problem. Still they need to examine prices at other BH franchises and adjust accordingly. Till then they cant be a five star place.

The parking lot was rather full, when we arrived for lunch at noon. But still plenty of tables open inside. Was greeted and asked our preference for booth or table. And over heard waitress saying to another table they were part of the chain, of the other 6 Blueberry Cafes in Aroura and Oak Brook. The place is clean, well lit, and has 2 tv’s(I saw) on closed caption, they were running news at the time. The Menu is amazing, lots of options. Sandwiches come with soup or salad, and fries. Most Breakfasts come with Greek toast or Pancakes. My husband had a Turkey Club(which had a little to much American cheese, but he picked it off) French fries, and Chicken dumpling soup(which was delicious) it also came with a square of corn bread. I had the Biscuits and Gravy with Scrambled eggs on top. It was so good. The Biscuits were soft & tastey, and the gravy had small pieces of sausage in it. The portion of eggs was huge, and fluffy good. Both arrived meals arrived hot and relatively fast considering it was noon. The place emptied out quickly about 1pm, or after lunch. Definitely coming back here for breakfast the menu looks really good for it. Omelets and skillets, French toast and many choices of Eggs Benedict. With St. Mary’s Catholic Church next door, Sunday’s will be hopping here. That said, they have a huge waiting area, with bench seating and chairs. I’m glad to see a resturant back in this building. I hope the new Gem stays place for a very long time.

Right on. Glad this place is open! The staff is all from the other Blueberry Hills locations so they know what they are doing… Everything runs smoothly, servers know the menu, kitchen has it down and the food came out quick! We had: the Seafood omelet and added mozzarella(omelette are huge!) and my kids had the eggs Benedict off the regular menu. We also had the strawberry orange juice which was tasty! The kids menu has a few more options than other breakfast/lunch places, which I appreciate.
