Hands down best breakfast place ever. The food is delicious and the staff is so nice. During their busy times in the AM, the wait time to be seated very short. Definitely recommended.

Very yummy breakfast place. A little bit loud inside but it’s spacious and the service is very quick and friendly. The food is good and comes in large portions. The pancakes were good and so were the omelettes. The crepes there aren’t very good however. Overall though, this restaurant is a good place to come for breakfast.

This is my favorite place for breakfast! The staff is amazing, and my family and I the food. My favorites are the buttermilk pancakes and the strawberry pancakes. I recommend getting there early because it is so popular

Ordered a philly skillet and the meat was tough and chewy. So bad that I was unable to finish my meal. My toast arrived cold. However, the latte was delicious. Before we were able to finish our meal my stomach was already bothering me

Such a cute, yummy breakfast spot. I have been here so many times and each time order something different. I have yet to be disappointed. Definitely try one of their new flavored mochas!

Nice atmosphere, and the food was ok, nothing special. The service was slow and it is very overpriced. Doubtful I’ll return.

Good breakfast/lunch place. I love the one in Crest Hill so I came to this one since I was in the area. The décor was really nice and much different than the Crest Hill establishment. The food was good but honestly I was a bit disappointed. It just wasn’t as good as the Crest Hill branch which is one of my favorite places to eat.

I think this place is a solid breakfast joint. I was blown away when I walked in. It was a large room, beautifully decorated, high ceilings, big tables. It was inviting. The wait staff was friendly. Always had my coffee full. And the coffee was pretty good. I ordered the smoked sausage skillet. It was good. I have had better skillets but I would order this again. I tried my friends hobo skillet, it was good too. This place has a lot of solid dishes on their menu. If I could eat bread, I would have loved to try their biscuits and gravy. I saw one customer have it, and it looked delicious. I think the prices are very reasonable and service was pretty good. The flavor factor, that eat till you feel like puking feeling, just wasn’t there. But if I’m in this area again, I’ll return.

New to area and decided to go here from reviews on Unilocal. It is at the end of the strip of downtown Plainfield. It is a new building. Once my girlfriend and I walked in, there was no wait and we were seated in a booth right away. It has high ceilings, clean area, and a country feel to it. The menu has a lot of items and combinations for food. I ordered scrambled eggs, with turkey sausage, hash browns, that came with two pancakes too. When I go back, I will try something different. My girlfriend ordered a cheese and ham omelet with hash browns, it also came with pancakes. We only waited 5 minutes before all of our food arrived. I ate all of my food. My girlfriend ate half of the omelet and took the rest home. When we left the place was packed. It was Sunday morning around 8:30/9am. We will go here again, and I would recommend for people to go here.

Came here for brunch with my family and we all came to the conclusion that this place is nasty as hell. Their oversized pancakes were extremely dry and absorbed syrup like a sponge.

First time at this establishment, and I don’t think I will be returning. Personally, my food was fine. Nothing bad about it, nothing great about it. My father-in-laws food, however, was poorly made and he sent it back. It was a piece of overcooked chicken. He was then informed that they don’t take purchases off of tickets but he could get some bacon to rectify the problem. Definitely not a smart management move. And almost 5 dollars for a side of bacon? 3 pieces of burnt bacon for 5 dollars. Thats ridiculous.

This place is okay. That’s all. If you’re really hungry and are okay with mediocre, or less than mediocre food then you will be «okay» with this place. They have ‘pancake’ in their name, and they’re lackluster. Nothing special. The chicken fried steak tasted only of pepper. It was way, way over seasoned with black pepper, and so was the gravy. The steak was served on top of biscuits that were unbelievably dry and they didn’t have any gravy because it was placed Soley on the CFS. The hash browns were dried out and just not what I had expected when I read the reviews on this place. Go drive to a Walker Bros for some pancakes. Skip this place.

So, I went to this place with my family for the first time on Father’s Day. I ordered an Italian sausage omelet(Italian sausage, peppers, onions, mozzarella cheese) with pancakes and hash browns. I must say the omelet was not good as the only flavor it had was onion. It tasted like I was eating an onion omelet. If there was Italian sausage and peppers I couldn’t tell. I even added some salt and pepper, but I couldn’t eat it. My father in-law got an omelet as well(corn beef hashed) and said similar experience for him. This is the reason I am giving 3 stars. I do not recommend getting and omelet here. On the plus side my pancakes were excellent. Good flavor and large size. My wife and mother in-law had eggs Benedict and they were very happy with their breakfast. Also, our server did a good job. so the service was good. I will go again and try something other than an omelet as the menu has a good variety of breakfast selections.

Just OK. They definitely have some improvements to make. My order came out wrong. Ordered a cinnamon/pecan waffle and a side of extra crispy bacon. Received a cinnamon APPLE waffle and the bacon was not at all crispy. I’m hoping that once they get the kinks out from being new that it will be a nice breakfast joint. Still like Crispy Waffle much better. **Edited after they’ve worked out the kinks… Love this place!

I’ve been here a bunch of times, but always forget to write a review. I like this location way more than the Crest-Hill one. Food is better, décor is more simple and the servers are nicer. I came in for breakfast yesterday morning with 2 friends. I arrived early knowing we would have a wait so I put my name down. They don’t estimate your wait time, which I didn’t like, but they also will seat you without your whole party which I do like, because Crispy Waffle won’t do that. I think I waited about a half hour at 10am on a Sunday so that’s pretty standard. We sat down and our waitress came over right away with water. 2 of us ordered juice and 1 ordered coffee. My friend did mention she felt like she had to wait long periods of time for coffee refills. I ordered the 3 cheese omelet, which came with hash browns and toast and I also ordered a side of bacon. It was all good and my bacon was very crisp like I requested. My only issue is that the omelets are HUGE. I know it shouldn’t be seen as a problem but I can never finish it. My friend ordered banana pancakes and a skillet which she liked and our other friend got a skillet as well. I’ve also been here for lunch and their cream of chicken soup is amazing if you can get it!

I have been here a few times and each of those times I am disappointed about something. On one occasion my hashbrowns and toast came out burnt. The toast was black and the hashbrowns were so crispy that I couldnt eat them. I had already waited forever for my food and I had to send the potatoes back and wait some more. Second time the server was just awful. She was rude and not attentive at all. The food was just meh. Third time my order was wrong, I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. There was no cheese on them and the waitress forgot to bring my daughters eggs. I love the décor of the restaurant but their food is average and their waitresses suck!

REDVELVETPANCAKES! I ordered the Southern Belle Skillet which was very, very good(kind of a meat lovers/butcher block thingy) and not dry like a certain way over rated place throughout the Chicago suburbs. and it came with a side of pancakes… they let me substitute REDVELVETPANCAKES! The RVP’s come with this delicious cream cheese topping and with some syrup. I was pretty much in heaven. Decent coffee. Lisa got a basic breakfast(scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns) and pumpkin pancakes. It was good ** we’ll get back to those pumpkin pancakes Our friend Janet got the mexican skillet and she was pretty much«it’s a’ight» if she spoke that way. And the side of pumpkin pancakes** OK for the ** nobody was grooving on the pumpkin pancakes. when they set them down. I was soooo relieved that I didn’t order them. They had(GASP!) fruit on them! I’m sure it said it on the menu someplace. but none of us saw it. A sauce of apples and cranberries. Apparently, I was not alone in my thoughts because they both tasted them and scraped them off. even tried to pawn some off the apple off on the baby. he wasn’t having any of it. So, the food was good. somewhere we missed something about the pancakes. The restaurant itself is very nice. Clean and comfortable. Oh. and REDVELVETPANCAKES!
