Love Chicago’s!!! I have always had a great experience here whether dining in or carrying out. The staff is very friendly and even when they’re busy they make sure to give great service!

After a big win for our soccer game, a group of 15 went to Chicago’s to celebrate with pizza. The service was very good, but the service was sadly worried by the 45 minute to an hour wait for only two pizzas but not only after the long wait it’s was WAY over costed!

The food is better than most chains. But after placing my order an hour in advance of picking it up I am still waiting on my simple order of 1 order of breadsticks and 1 deep dish pizza 20 minutes later. So in short it took an hour and twenty minutes for an order of pizza and breadsticks. It may taste better than most chains but at the price and speed I could of had this order and delivered by any chain. After all this time they got the order wrong, still. We won’t be coming back.

The lunch buffet here is amazing! For full salad bar, pizza, breadsticks, and drink is around $ 8.50 per person. The only downside is it can get very busy between 11:30 — 12:30 and it’s a little crazy. Overall it’s definitely worth the price for what you get.

Pizza and salad bar are very good. Planning is a joke. Stood in line 20 minutes to get buffet. Cashier would ring out a guests carry out and than get it for them. They need more staffing or a better system for carry out buffet.

So we went here for lunch today and had the buffet. Monday March 16th. Their buffet runs from 11am-130pm and we got there about 1245pm. The cost is 8.50 with drink and tax. It is only 50 cents more for you tight wads who always opt for water to save a buck. They have Pepsi products YAY!!! They have about 5 – 6 pizzas on the buffet and then bread sticks and a cinnamon pizza. Then they have a salad bar and they also have two types of cheese sauce to dip in. I liked the spicier nacho cheese. The bread sticks were really good. The key to eating at a pizza buffet is to watch for the hot stuff coming out. So I went up twice for bread sticks as they came out. The lady asked me if we wanted anything special and I asked what do you have and told her this was our first visit so she listed off the pizzas. So I asked for the BBQ chicken pizza and they made it and it was really good. They did have a guy out cleaning the tables so we will give them the benefit of the doubt but the dining room was in bad shape as far as the tables being dirty but as i said they may have just had a lunch rush. The décor and restaurant is nice and it is really big for a pizza joint. I would love to say that we will be back for the lunch buffet but i am usually not available during those hours but we will definitely be back for the pizza and bread sticks and the PEPSI products. Can you tell that I loathe Coke.

There is nothing extra special about this chain that’s moniker makes one think it would be Chicago pizza. Having been to Chicago so many times and having that authentic Chicago pizza pie that expectation truly is not met here. The pizza is good, but more so your typical deep dish pizza of any Indiana chain pizza eatery and not«Chicago Style» that you crave. However, what you do get is really decent pizza, and they have a pretty good lunch deal. One does pay additional to have a «to go» cup, whereas most places don’t charge you to take your drink with you.

I had the buffet when I stopped in to see a friend off of Stafford and was starving after a long drive. The pizza on the buffet was all the hand tossed style, and it was tasty., especially one that had a white/garlic sauce and cheese. What I saw on the menu for the deep dish pizza was NOT Chicago style, but more like the Pizza Hut deep dish. Still, it looked tasty. I was very happy with the lunch, and the salad bar with it had a lot more fresh veggies in it than most pizza buffet salad bars. My friend says they eat here regularly and the service is good.

Great deep dish pizza, not greasy. The garlic bread has an awesome texture. The specialty pizza offerings are kind of boring, but I’ve come up with my own standard order. It’s a little pricey, but they have a great Monday family deal, and there are always coupons online if you want to google and print.

As a born and raised Chicagoan I am deeply offended that they decided to use the Chicago name for this place because their pizza in no way represents Chicago pizza… I ordered the«Windy City» deep dish pizza from them and as I ate it, all I could think of was pizza hut, little caesars, dominoes etc… Not good pizza at all. I only gave the 2nd star for their service because they were good and friendly but can’t say I plan on ever returning.

Very good pizza. The deep dish is the best. They have a salad bar that I really enjoy. I had spaghetti with meatballs tonight; tasty and a good portion size. I like the booth arrangement as it adds some privacy and makes socializing easier. The pizza selection has the usuals but they have a few unique speciality pizzas. We also had breadsticks which were tasty and soft. I really like this place and give it 5 stars for pizza joints.

I ate lunch here with some family. We missed the buffet by about a half hour or so and ordered breadsticks and a veggie pizza instead. Very good food. Excellent service. More on the expensive end as far as lunch is concerned.

I tell ya what, it just so happens that I accidentally had a slice of Chicago’s Pizza at work on Friday. It was so darn good that I convinced my hubs to get a couple of pies for dinner on Sunday. Have you ever been in a relationship with someone who you aren’t pizza compatible with? It’s not great, but the good thing is that you never have to share your pizza. Mr. Jen F is solidly a ham and pineapple guy, while I like to mix it up and have anything except for ham and pineapple. Two deep dishes for carry out were ready as promised. Mine was sausage and mushroom this time and both were DELICIOUS. I mean it, really delicious. The crispy burnt cheese around the edges is delightful. The crust was a delish deep dish with tasty sauce and good toppings. You can even hop over to the yogurt joint next door if you are so inclined. It’s connected!

Best pizza in Plainfield… Dine in service is above average(Megan K is awesome), carry out is most generally on time and always hot. I highly recommend.

Decent pizza, not awesome but a notch above Pizza Hut. We had deep dish and bread sticks(which were better than the pizza). Everything was fast and hot(bread sticks were out in under a minute) and service was friendly. The frozen yogurt place next door is a nice bonus.

Not impressed. Lunch buffet was limited and quickly became crowded to the point that returning to the buffet was pointless

The city of Chicago should sue this chain for disparaging their name. The«deep dish» pizza is your average chain pizza… NOT Chicago-style pizza. I remember this chain serving better when they had their location downtown. I suppose their buffet is better-than-average when compared to cardboard places like Cici’s, but the name is absolutely misleading if you’re wanting a true Chicago experience.

My group of 4 came in for dinner after a long day at work. Half of our party was a fan of Chicago style«deep dish» pizza and wanted to see how the food was. We ordered a large deep dish and some breadsticks. The salad bar was average(and had a large print saying it was only one trip to the bar — seemed a bit odd). Our pizza finally arrived & it was immediately declared by our group that it wasn’t «Deep Dish». It was basically your Pan pizza from a standard pizza restaurant. It wasn’t bad tasting but it was not«deep dish» like you would get in Chicago. Atmosphere was good and very laid back. It was self-seat and despite having a soda refill fountain — you could not refill it yourself. The staff would do it for you only. Not sure why they’d leave it out in the restaurant if not wanting people to refill their own.
