Donatos Pizzeria

Wouldn’t deliver to a hotel close to Indy airport unless it was an order greater than $ 50. Frustrating since they were only located 3.2 miles away… was looking forward since they had good reviews.

Been on hold for 15 min and they still haven’t answered! Tried calling with two other phones and they never picked up. They may be good, but just don’t answer phones. Guess we will take our money elsewhere!

I was staying in one of the numerous chain hotels in Plainfield along I70, and the hotel book listed one pizza place closed, another that looked unappealing. Unilocal to the rescue! Not only did we find a pizza we enjoyed (Founders Favorite) but the delivery driver delivered to our room door! Perhaps this is standard in the area, but I’ve only had drivers deliver to a hotel lobby. Not only did he bring it up, but it was piping hot, delicious, and just what we needed for a late night dinner after a long day of driving.

Pretty decent thin crust pizza and they delivered to my hotel on NYE. I love the fact that they use provologne cheese! I will definitely be back next time I’m in Indy.

I love their founders favorite. I wanted it on a Sunday evening, but as Tom Petty once said, «the waiting is the hardest part».
I called and they didn’t pick up for 90 seconds, then I was asked to be put on hold for another 5 minutes and 50 seconds. I told the lady that we were going to call elsewhere because the wait was too long.
It’s a shame that sales had to be lost because of poor staffing, time management, or poor communication. Your product is better than your service Donatos. Poor, poor effort.

Cheesey breadsticks were so good we devoured them all. We all got the three meat strombolli with pepperoni sausage and ham. Pretty good too. From how they wwere cooked I can tell mine was in the middle of the oven and the other two were on the sides because they were a bit crispy. I enjoyed mine thoroughly, it had a bit of a spice to it but not too much (im not a spice person I don’t like spicy food) but it was just right. So I guess order one at a time so it’s evenly cooked maybe? Mother complained a few times of her crispy breaded food. It wasn’t burned but it was hard to cut with a knife. Overall I give them five stars, it was lovely eating here. Haven’t ordered take out yet but I live far from them so I probably would see if there’s one closer to home. It’s a nice bright clean looking place I had a wonderfullunch experience.

First time having Donato’s and will definitely be ordering again! Delivered to our house hot and fresh. Yum!

As far as chain pizza restaurants go this Donato’s location was amazing! We ordered from them after a Colt’s game on a Sunday evening – we got a coupon at the game. We ordered a veggie pizza, bread sticks and cinna-​sticks online. The ordering process was very easy, but we couldn’t pay online. Bummer. My husband went to pick-​up the order after the specified amount of time had passed and pick-​up took longer than expected. He went to the drive-​thru for our order, but had to park and go inside instead (not sure the reason) and the order wasn’t quite ready. However, we would definitely return here if we’re ever back in Plainfield. The pizza and breadsticks were awesome! The cinna-​sticks were literally the best I’ve ever had. Their mini-​cinnamon rolls and ooey-​gooey deliciousness. You definitely feel guilty after eating them. Pricier than Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s or Little Caesar’s, but the quality is wonderful. Super fresh and tasty. They always have coupons online, too!

It’s the best thin crust pizza in Plainfield. The restaurant is always clean, the service quick and the toppings generous.

I love Donatos! Every one of their joints is clean, modern and inviting.
I stop when I see a Donatos as we don’t have them in Michigan.
I’ve tried just about everything.
The calazones were not my cup of tea. However, the breadsticks are amazing and their sauce really pops!
The pizza is quite good too. I normally don’t like thin crust, but I’m now a fan of theirs!
Their delivery is fast and friendly as well.
I still haven’t tried the subs, those are next on my list.

This is a small but very nice Donatos. Super clean, nice seating, and good ambiance. Donatos is known for their fast food service pizzeria. This location has all those qualities: small order area inside where you pick up your meal, or drive-​thru window, and pretty fast (depending on what you order). For those of you looking for a quite place to grab a slice during lunch time during the week this is a great place. Especially those of you working in offices because they have free WiFi.
