Family Christian

Being the only Christian book store in the area, Family Christian is typically my default destination when looking for specific titles for my job (I work at a church) or personal edification. Unfortunately their selection is very small.
If you’re looking for a Bible, greeting card, or scripture engraved knick-​knack then this is the place for you. Good, though expensive, bible selection, way too many greeting cards, and about half the store is trinkets or home decorations.
However if you’re looking for books or music, you’d better stick to the Internet. The selection here is narrow and they keep few books stocked with more than a few copies. I came to by myself 2 copies of a very popular book (probably one of the most widely read youth ministry books ever written) and they only had one copy in stock. I went back a month or so later and they had replaced it, still only one book.
The staff is friendly enough, but the lacking selection and ratio of tchotchke to valuable content make 3-​stars my max.
