Helzberg Diamonds

My husband went on the hunt for diamond earrings back in 2010 when we were dating. He searched a couple places where he wasn’t noticed. At Helzberg he was greeted within seconds and they took the time to help him despite his simple blue jeans and white t-​shirt attire. My husband purchased with Helzberg then, again for my necklace, and again for my ring. I recently purchased a beautiful necklace for my mother. My husband and I love Helzberg and continue to come back for anything we may need. Everyone is lovely at the Plainfield location. We’ve been more than pleased.

As you can see by the attached photos, my days are numbered. The doctors have agreed to allow my Grandma to continue with the palliative treatment of re-​sewing my head to my neck in order that my insides are not exposed to the harsh elements. My grandmother followed the customer service chain at Helzburg which really just ended up shortening my already abbreviated life by 4 hours. Even after explaining that my 2-​year-​old boy cries, «no, no, no,» in his sleep when grandma tries to take me from his arms for my treatment, customer service could not help. First of all, the Speedway location has closed down and those employees must have been in such a rush to find new jobs, they forgot to leave a message on their phone or inform corporate of their mass exodus. Grandma called and spoke with a CSR in Plainfield. The CSR offered, «You know you can always sew the head back on.» Well, guess that’s why she’s a diamond seller. Corporate called back and spoke to management in Plainfield and were told I was a promotional bear and 100 percent of my profits go to charity. I realize I am only a stuffed bear, and a sick one at that, but when I did the math on the website that claimed I cost $ 9.99 and Make A Wish got $ 3 every time I was sold, it seems $ 6.99 of every purchase has gone missing? Although I’ve only known my boy for a short time (since Christmas in fact) and I am obviously fading fast, I’d like to use my Make A Wish for terminally ill bears to take my boy to Disney World for one last great trip filled with memories before I eventually lose my head…

I took my engagement ring in to get sized (which we purchased somewhere else) and have the center stone tightened, which is an additional charge. First, they low balled the estimated value of the ring, which had an adverse consequence later. A moot but valid issue. Then a few days later I took the ring to another store for an appraisal where the shop told me the two side stones were loose so they went and tightened them up for me at no charge. Helzburg charged me for tightening one stone and didn’t mention the other two were loose. I will not give Helzburg diamonds any business again.

My fiancé’ bought a ring for me and it has been turning my fingers BLACK! I have purchased other 18K Gold rings at other jewerly stores and never had my fingers turn black. I will not recommend to anyone!

I used to come here to have my watch batteries replaced, a Rado and an Omega. They have a new policy. Now they only work on watch brands they carry. In these economic times, I’d call that store suicide. Phone ahead before you go because I don’t expect them to be in business very long.

I recently bought a ring for my wife’s birthday here. The sales associate was helpful and didn’t try to talk me into anything out of the price range I gave him.
I was a little dissapointed that the sizing of the ring was not included in the price and neither was the warranty.
I’m used to shopping at Shane Company where this stuff is included, but you probably pay a higher price up front there.
I’d probably shop here again.
