My absolute favorite grocery store in the world. I’m usually in this store twice a week to get things for my family. The store is clean, well organized, and the staff is amazing. I always feel welcomed as soon as I walk in.
There is always many employees working so it’s rare that I ever have to wait in line to check out. I’ve gotten so spoiled at this Meijers that I have trouble ever visiting other grocery stores because they never can compare!

Having been a meijer shopper for many years, this was my first trip to this new location and I was disappointed and frustrated. The store is not visually appealing at all, they do not restock well on weekends, the staff is not helpful. Most concerning is the height at which basic items are kept and a mother 5ft tall. This will be my only visit to this meijer. We abandoned shopping less than half way through and finished at a different retailer who was fully stocked and always checking on customers. I recommend picking the Meijer in Avon over this location.

No one here! Just picking up a tube of prescription lotion. The check in clerk went to see if the tube of lotion was in stock. She comes back and say yes we have the lotion, but its a 20 min wait — REALLY? Atleast the rest of the store is nice — but maybe its a Meijer scam so you have time to buy more?
2 out of 5 only because the store is nice.
UPDATE 20 MINS LATER:
So the clerk just comes over to check me out and I said I can’t believe you made me wait 20 minutes for a tube of lotion she says «no two tubes of lotion and laughs’

Meijer is awesome, and this somewhat new location in Plainfield is a nice addition to the area. It has a Meijer gas station out front with sometimes lower gas prices, and a Great Clips inside. Equipped with all the departments in typical Meijers, friendly staff, clean, and a good amount of self-​check outs, this is my go-​to grocery store. I like the fresh produce section– I never have a problem finding what I want, good savings, and fresh looking food. The bread and peanut butter is upfront after the bakery section, just a tip before you go up and down every aisle like I did! And on some days there are samples-​Yum!
