Wings Etc

Just sat here for over 15 minutes, only to never be acknowledged by a server. No «I’ll be with you in a minute» or anything. Of note, the restaurant wasn’t even half full. There’s a reason we haven’t been here in over 6 months. While the wings and fries are good, the service is HORRIBLE. How have they not fixed this yet with how long they have been open? Where is management?

Always seem to get good food here, however not today. I ordered the new beer battered fish and chips. Highly disappointing when they just bring out and oversized fish stick. Its supposed to be cod battered in yuengling. Not even close and I am not even sure its cod. Also coleslaw needs alot of help. We’ll be back but i’ll stick with the regulars. If your going to put it on your menu, make it worth it.

They have a nice deal on Tuesdays. The chicken tenders were 79 cents a piece. I got 5 tender tossed in «Me So Spicy» (that’s not racist lol), beer, and fries for under $ 10. The «Me So Spicy» sauce was really good. My friend got the teriyaki sauce on the side and stated that it was less than desirable. Good thing he got it on the side.
The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

Wings were alright, agree with post someone else wrote about the sauce they either drown them or its minimal. The sauces themselves are alright nothing super special.
Getting a beer whether at the table or the bar seemed like it was almost a hassle, which is odd since wings and beer go hand and hand especially on the nfl draft night.

Food good. Nothing great. It’s a wing joint. Has good local beers. Service is below average. Always seem like they have a lot o waitresses but still takes awhile to be served.

Nice bar for an middle-​aged guy like myself. Clean and friendly. Wings were cooked right and well seasoned. Will definitely revisit and recommend.

When we went, the place wasn’t very busy. The prices were good and wings were big. There were quite a few other options other than wings on the menu. Everybody at my table liked the food they had. The servers were nice and very attentive to our table.

Kelly sucks. If you don’t have a penis she’s just not interested. I have never been blatantly ignored like I was tonight. I just spent an hour and 40 minutes of my life that I can’t get back for a mediocre burger and fries. Worst. Server. Ever.

The only reason I’m giving this place a 1 star is because the atmosphere is pretty cool. I like all the tv’s. Makes it great to watch a game.
The downfall;
I’ve been in this place several times hoping that the service will improve But clearly it’s not going to. Too bad because the food so great.
To be blunt, the service sucks!

Last straw! My family and I have frequented several of the Wings Etc. since the restraunt chain came to Central and Northeastern, IN several years ago. We’ve had our ups and downs with the food and service, but ultimately have always come back. Our last visit though this week was the final straw! We ordered our usual wings and when they brought it to the the table the waitress, who was not our original waiter, screwed up the order. When we informed our waiter of this, he looked at the basket of wings and said «yep, you’re right» and walked away. Thought maybe he was going to rectify the situation by bringing us the correct order. This never happened; instead he brought us our bill. When we approached him again about the order and now the bill, he became very rude and billegerent about what he could have done to rectify the situation for us. Before leaving we approached the Store Manager regarding his behavior, she immediately said that she would talk with him and the District Manager regarding this situation. This is exactly what needed to happen along with him being fired; but it didn’t rectify the situation for us since we had to pay the bill in full. After this awful experience, we are sad but justified in saying, we will never come back to this chain of restaurant’s again.

The food was ok… Fries were cold, but the wings were good and the sauce was yummy. For as busy as the place was on a Friday night our party of 10 got seated quickly and the service was fast. I would come again.

I’ve stopped in here several times for lunch and a couple of times for drinks after work.
I would say for lunch or dinner it’s descent. The wings are generally larger than BW’s and they have some variances on the sauces that are good. I like their curly fries too. Service is generally friendly, but not all that fast. Sometimes they drown the wings in sauce so you may want to order it on the side. So for lunch or dinner I would give Wings Etc. a 3.5 or 4 star.
As far as the places rating as a bar for drinks after work…1 Star or less. We stopped in about 4:30pm and the bartender seemed kind of annoyed that we were there. She was busy cleaning. We asked about specials since it was a Wednesday… there were really none. All of the bars in this area have daily specials on beer, but this bar only has monthly specials posted which aren’t really a good deal at all. There was no music other than what we could hear from a radio in the kitchen playing country. It was just a bad experience. The bartender yelled to the kitchen twice while standing right next to us which was also pleasant.
If you want a beer after work in Plainfield I wouldn’t recommend this place. I think it’s a restaurant that happens to have a bar.

Tried this place for the first time today. My fiancé and I loved it! The wings are very meaty, but the skin is still crispy and delicious. On Mondays, the wings are on special for $ 0.59 a piece, which is a great deal. The wing special gave us a chance to try 6 sauces. Our favorite was the hot honey mustard and the medium buffalo sauce. We will definitely be back.

I have taken my family to this restaurant several times since it has opened and we have always enjoyed the food. The menu and service is far suprerior to BW3s on the other side of town and the prices are more reasonable also. You wont be disappointed in the food quality for the price or the freindly service. The only complaint I could make is on two seperate occaisions we were seated near a large group of people and both times those groups were so loud, and at times very obnoxious, that we couldnt hear the conversations between people at our table. This certainly wasnt the fault of the staff, but it was annoying. It hasnt put us off though and we will continue to patronize this restaurant in the future.

One of the worst dining experiences in years. Chicken nachos were virtually without taste, and the lettuce was from the end of the head (really, how much is lettuce???). Had to call the search and rescue team to find the chicken under all the molten Velveeta. To top it off, the waitress/​bartender was the most unfriendly, indifferent waitress I’ve run across in my life…

I rarely do 1 star reviews, but…
We had to wait 30 minutes in between rounds of drinks. It was a Friday night, but not so terribly busy that service was that bad.
The server couldn’t remember how to divide the three groups of a party of 7. A teacher at our table was asked to go help him divide the ticket at the computer.
There also was no toilet paper in the ladies room.
On the plus side, the TVs were on basketball games.

SLOW service! If you have 2 hours to kill waiting on some nachos and wings then this is your place. Food is hit or miss. Buffalo chicken wrap was good (made wrong) but tasted good. The nachos were gross (made wrong) made correctly then but still gross. Margarita was average taste but over priced. Tried this place several times — not planning on coming back.

Wanted to try something different but didn’t want to travel far so we came here. The restaurant is very clean and well laid out. Each table has its own large tv so you can be sure you’ll see the game no problem. The menu has a ton of choices for even the pickiest eater. We had the pretzel bites and fried pickles for apps. Both were very good, I highly recommend the southwest ranch! It was Thursday so they had $ 8 pitchers and .59 cent wings, traditional and boneless. We all tried a different sauce and we were not disappointed by any of them. Beer selection was decent with the usuals and a bunch of locals and micros. Since the pitchers were cheap we just had miller lite. Waitress was very nice and helpful when choosing what we wanted. This is definitely a place we will return to several times!

Seated right away. Wings were great. Appetizers were brought quickly and we’re delicious! Drinks were great! Waitress was wonderful!
