A bit disappointing at our last visit. Food not prepared as well… Lasagna very bland… Gluten free penne undercooked. Not sure we will be back

Good pasta and other dishes. They deliver but have a charge for it. Pizza is good but I have had better. Prices are on the high side. I recommend it either way

I’ve been here a few times and the Italian food is great. I usually have penne a la vodka with grilled chicken. The chicken dishes are tasty as well(and so is the dessert!)

Was in the mood for pizza haha, When am I not in the mood for pizza is a better question. I had never been to this Marios before, But Marios are like weeds there is one everywher. I am not sure if it is a franchise or what. The staff were excellent fast and friendly. I ordered two slices of Sicilian Pizza. It was just ok, Nothing special at all. The Marios near my house is 1000x better. Would not go back for pizza at least unless had too.

Get a solid meal at Mario’s. Was late, almost closing time last night and had to get food before driving west. Great dish with balsamic glazed chicken over pasta with broccoli raub and some roasted peppers. I was hesitant about the roasted peppers but they went great with the dish.

This is a must on my top food stops when visiting LI. With Unilocal,we had a free appetizer. We ordered the baked clams oreganata. 6 real clams, and we dipped the bread into the sauce. The eggplant rollatini is our always entrée and yes, delicious. Tonight we tried the penne a la vodka and it was so rich and creamy. Another great night.

Snow usually means my job orders pizza for everyone. Super nice thing to do. Today they ordered a nice selection of pies from Mario’s in Plainview. There is a Mario’s near my house and to be honest, I’ve never been much of a fan. Could the Plainview location be better? Nope. I tried the plain pizza which was just eh and the buffalo chicken which was so over cooked that it was crunchy, the flavor of the chicken was pretty good, tasted just like Franks Red Hot, which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just that it was over done. The grandma slice was also over cooked and very crunchy. I mean very crunchy. If it wasn’t free and I didn’t feel like going out I probably wouldn’t have had it. This is New York, with so many great pizza joints around there is no reason to settle for a subpar pie.

Contrary to recent posts-the service was great, the food was terrific(there was 9 of us and everyone raved about their entrée). Two of us had the lasagna. It was delicious, sauce is fresh and great tasting-it doesn’t overpower the rest! The garlic knots were just right and the desserts-cannoli, tiramisu, and tartufo were also delicious. Definitely going back!!! Debbie C

This review is strictly regarding a takeout order of a veal parmigiana hero that was delicious and a few slices(grandma, chicken Marsala, & a regular) that were great. The veal was so tender, fresh bread, just enough sauce and cheese. The Marsala slice very flavorful as were the other slices. This place is huge, with an upstairs dining as well as lower dining areas and it was packed. I saw dinners passing that looked great and customer service was excellent. Next time will go back to dine in.
