This has the potential to be a great bagel place. HOWEVER, their listening skills are non existent. Every time I come in here they mess up my order. Always simple things. A coffee with what? Put what on a bagel? And still get it wrong. The write it down and still get it incorrect. I became very tired of having to check my items for accuracy before leaving, so I have decided to leave this review and will no longer be coming here. It is NOTNICE to let people leave your food establishment, and drive home to find their orders are incorrect or inedible. Finally, I have to say that finding hair in my food on two separate occasions is the last straw. Please wear hairnets like required by law. Every time I politely mention to any staff that there is a mistake or issue, they become defensive and downright nasty. A simple sorry we messed up we will make it right is all anyone could ask for. Instead I am feeling ripped off. I will be happy to revise my review if the owner reaches out to me and provides some customer service.

I love this place. It gets really crowded but they move really quick! Most of the staff is really nice. There’s a few that aren’t so friendly. But the bagels are really good, so it’s worth it!

Come here several times a week for breakfast and coffee with friends. Always a delicious meal and coffee is continuously on point. Staff is friendly and the long line reflects how great the food is. Moves quickly but you can text in your order and own Steve runs a great business.

Food is not bad… problem is the people who eat here. Never seen so many 40 year old women with scalps that are all Grey but the rest of the hair is black or brown or red. They eat salads and ba

Last night I went for the first time in years. By far the one of the best chopped salads I have ever had. Just as good as I remembered. They have a sheet and you just check off every Ingredient that you want chopped in your salad. The lettuce and vegetables were chopped so fine that I barely used any dressing. The juices from the vegetables was enough. Staff was also very friendly.

An egg onion with cream cheese makes my personal short list for ultimate comfort breakfast. I would actually consider it for my last breakfast on Earth. There are mornings I wake up and will not be satisfied until I eat it. The build-your-own chopped salads and sandwiches are also good, so I end up back there for lunch too. Baked chicken cutlet is my midday pick. Weekend lines get really long, so get there early. Pro tip: order through the website and skip the line.

UPDATE: Honestly the line and service usually suck. Can you get a good bagel? Yes. Are there better places out there with better service and smaller lines? Yes. I’m not sure what happened, but they don’t seem to care like they used to. Staff is often rude and unhelpful. Great bagels, sandwiches and salads. Can’t go wrong stopping at Town Bagel for breakfast or lunch. Their coffee is great as well.

Town Bagel truly has the best bagel on long island. The line was out the door when we went for brunch around 11 on a Tuesday morning. Don’t be discouraged, it moves relatively quickly. I opted for nova and cream cheese on a poppy seed bagel. It was so very delicious! The texture of the bagel was just right. The portion of the nova was a bit less than I had originally expected, but the thin slices were melt in your mouth good. And, with this order being below $ 8, you really can’t go wrong! I bought a few bagels to have for the rest of the week and let me tell you, they were the most fragrant bagels I’ve ever had. My car smelled like delicious bagels for days.

They get most of it right and I’m looking forward to returning. I ordered the Plainview Special — bagel/lox platter — and the taste was top notch. One misgiving: the sandwich was loaded with lettuce(first time I’ve seen that), possibly at the expense of other ingredients, because the lox was a bit skimpy. And hey! Lettuce isn’t even mentioned on the menu my friend; what’s with all the rabbit food??? The ordering process seems efficient, there is plenty of seating and the staff is cheery. What’s not to like? I may even try to text my order next time.
