I have been going to this group of doctors for seven years now. Led by Dr. Deville, along with the Cardiologists from Legacy Heart Center, and the Plano Baylor Heart Hospital Resident Doctor, they worked miracles at Plano Baylor Heart Hospital in 2008 when my heart failed and was barely pumping! Communication with my friends and family from everyone at the hospital and especially from the doctors were superb. Fast forward to a cardio ablation in 2013 where I agreed to have performed by Dr. Rizvi, assisted by Dr. Beveridge(consultation by Dr. Deville) at the same hospital. Again, the communication with friends and family were outstanding. My left atrium chamber of my heart was ablated in the most difficult procedure ever attempted where almost 100 percent of the chamber wall was ablated(electrically burned basically)(per Dr. Rizvi). I am very happy to report the procedure 100 percent successful and I have been in normal heart rhythm ever since(knock on wood)! I am blessed and so are all of these Doctors, PAs, Nurses, Techs and their wonderful front end and check out staff. Ya know… I have heard some of the doctors call themselves ‘technicians’ — well I can assure you all these people routinely have good credits placed on their souls! In fact, «D» magazine September 2015 has listed at least two of these doctors as being nominated by their professional peers as Top Doctors in their field but shoot… I could have told you that!

Dr DeVille did 2 ablations and finally a pacemaker on my husband 2+ years ago. Overall I don’t think there is anyone better and we highly recommend him. Highly! My husbands ablations were 2 of the worst he’s done. Maybe since then he’s come across some others, but at the time he admitted to me they were up there with the worst of the worst. On both of the ablations, we met him in the room as they were preparing to take my hubby to surgery. Dr. DeVille detailed everything he was going to do and approximately how long it would take. As is his nature, he exuded a warm, caring and positive attitude. I went to the waiting room not scared, but knowing my hubby was in the best hands. Every hour I received a call from the surgery room with an update from Dr. DeVille. I cannot begin to tell you how reassuring that is! Knowing how things are going and how your loved one is doing is calming. Both ablations took quite a bit longer(we’re talking hours here!!) than anticipated but the updates helped relieve my stress and worry. Both times when I met Dr. DeVille in the waiting room after the surgery, he looked awful! He was visibly drained and totally exhausted(VERY different from 11 hours earlier!), but his enthusiasm never waived. He explained everything and never appeared to want to rush off, answering my questions and even anticipating and answering ones I hadn’t yet thought of. Ablations aren’t always as successful as we’d like — we knew that going into them –and neither stopped the wild arrythmia for my husband. We eventually had to make the decision to have a pacemaker placed but as expected, that too went very smoothly. It has been a few years now and lots of follow-up visits, and good outcomes. Dr. DeVille never rushes you and will usually run late, but when you’re his patient, you understand why. He’s giving every patient the time they need and quite honestly, I think he’s genuinely happy to see you and hear how you’re doing! Because of that I’d never dock him points for running late. He’s «caring» about someone who might be a lot worse than you(at that moment) and giving them everything they need. When he gets to you, you too will receive that same care and concern. He won’t rush you thru so he can run to the next room. The only concern we’ve had — which has NOTHING to do with Dr. DeVilles ability — is the turnover of his office staff! He shares this office with other doctors so it’s hard to pinpoint a reason. I worked for 3 doctors who couldn’t seem to get along(Office manager) and it was tough on the staff, but there was little turnover. I’m NOT suggesting they don’t get along as it appears they do. I’m perhaps more sensitive to the turnover having worked in a practice. Just think its odd. Regardless, the turnover has no bearing on Dr. DeVille as a top notch physician. It’s always a pleasure to see him for my husbands check-ups. He speaks with the staff often and has a great rapport on his tests. I hope I never need his services but there’s no question if I did, I’d run to his office as there isn’t anyone better! Thank you Dr. DeVille for everything you’ve done to help Rocky! He’s here because if you!
