As it’s December 23rd, I thought they might open before 10. When I arrived at 9:30, an employee was outside taking mdse. to another store. I merely asked if they carried a particular item. He didn’t know and caught the attention of another employee inside. That person came out and said; «We don’t open until 10». I guess their business is so good they can’t even answer a quick question. When I asked the first employee where their corporate office was located, he said, «this is it, and that’s the owner», referring to the second employee. Stay away!

Really love this HobbyTown store for their great gundam models! Models are at a great price compared to other stores (like AnimePop) and they have great variety. Staff is nice and helpful. They restock with new model kits and they have a lot of markers, paints, sanding sticks and paper, etc. to custom build your gunpla!

Good shop with a lot of variety, this does come with the downside that if you are looking for a specific type of item, the selection can be pretty limited. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I went in looking for a toy RC helicopter and wished for a better selection, but again the staff was helpful and I walked out with a good purchase. There’s definitely a hard stock lean on the Ares brand (Hobbytowns in house brand) but that’s not a bad thing as it is a solid quality brand.
Also I was very interested in purchasing one of their floor models of an rc copter that was displayed above their register. It was an older model that they no longer stocked. They weren’t willing to sell me that one, but they made sure I knew where I could order one before I left.

What a bad experience! The employees skate away so that they don’t have to help you! There was a 300 lb customer that left the cashier station to fetch some candy bars… like he really needed them! So, I placed my single $ 4 item on the register counter along with a $ 5 bill. The cashier was totally lost as to what to do… wait for the candy pig… or just cash me out so quickly and easily. I let the poor guy waddle back and finally finish his transaction after he insulted my age. This is just a bad store… there are much better hobby stores in the area.

My boyfriend and I went there to find something for fun. The staffs are being very helpful and they seems are having a lot of fun with what their work. Great place to find something you can work with.
