In the interest of actually walking somewhere to appease my Fitbit(as opposed to just making laps around the office), I’ve walked over here from my office a couple of times recently in search of coffee. On both occasions, I had a latte with sugar free vanilla; while both were delicious, today’s version wasn’t quite as heavy on the syrup as the other, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a little Splenda. Both were nice in temperature and flavor, and the décor is warm and inviting, although I’ll warn that there’s definitely more of a café/bakery/bistro feel than coffee shop. Think of it as a food place that happens to serve a nice cuppa. Of course, if alcohol is your thing, they have a full bar as well. I’ll try to check out the food at some point, but for now, I’m loving the latte.

Worst drinks ever. They serve champaign in the Kraft for $ 25. Tastes horrible. They said its Whitecliff(common in restaurants) but it was actually Andres($ 2 per bottle). Bloody Mary’s were not drinkable. I assume the mix was old and stale.

I love the food here and the desserts even more! I just got back from a trip from New Orleans and was craving Beignets, so I searched it on Unilocal!Main Street popped up and I’m so glad it did because I had the best experience! Main Street Bakery and Bistro is located at The Shops of Legacy right across Urban Outfitters. We got there and ordered the Beignet, Croi-Doughnut Brûlée, and crab cakes. They showcase many desserts and pastries upon entering, which I’ll have to try next time. Everything was so yummy and delicious but my favorite had to be the Croi-Doughnut Brûlée. Its a mix of a croissant and a doughnut topped with caramel and crème brûlée filling. This was on point and a must have for anyone with a sweet tooth. Its perfectly flaky and warm and the filling is not too sweet. Although looks can be deceiving because it looks like sugar overload but the flavors are perfect! The beignets is just what I was craving for a warm and doughy treat. Its paired with a crème brûlée sauce for dipping and covered with powdered sugar. They are bite size so its perfect for sharing. This deep fried pastry is like a doughnut and goes well with coffee or we went with espresso and hot chocolate. Finally the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes is the prefect appetizer! It comes with two large pieces with salad, house slaw and tartar sauce. Each bite has a chunk of crab in it so they are greatly generous with the amount of crab they give you. Its not overloaded with too much breading either. One of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. On a separate visit we went for brunch with friends. Try to come before 10am so the wait is not too long. As usual we have excellent and efficient service. They serve the standard breakfast food but we had the Migas which is scrambled eggs, chorizo, cheese, jalapeños, onions, corn, tomatoes, tortilla strips, with breakfast potatoes! Boy was this delicious! Highly recommended. The flavors had an authentic mexican flavor and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a 5 star experience.

Favorable atmosphere and patio, especially on a great day. Unfortunately, the service was poor. Fortunately, the fun patio atmosphere at Shops @ Legacy and great weather helped to not put a cloud over our experience. Food was ok… nothing memorable.

Brunch is not tasty. Mimosas are. Nice for Shops people watching. Service is typically poor.

Outstanding service and I loved the Cilanto Lime Avocado salad with Blackened Chicken added. My wife enjoyed the soup salad combo. She didn’t want the tomato bisque to end !!

Came here for a brunch. Loved the croissant and muffin, but not so much for the scrabbled eggs that ordered from menu. Staff was extremely friendly. Definitely will go back for brunch.

Decent food and incredibly attentive service. We ordered the cheese charcuterie, salmon salad, and half chicken. The chicken was delicious and with generous portion. The salad was supposed to be Asian and have Tamari flavor marinade. I was served smoked salmon slices in its stead but I liked it so I didn’t mention it. It was just odd to have something other than what I ordered served to me without mention. The cheese plate was enjoyed by my company. Our server was friendly and other staff were friendly. Good wine selection — I’d recommend their Malbec Ruta22. I’d come back.

I come here pretty often for B’fast & afternoon tea. With their extensive arrays of purely decadent pastries & desserts, one can never hv the courage to say ‘No’ to the sweets… Completely pleasing to the eyes & palate

Delicious! Had the shrimp penne pasta and it was made quick, fresh, and hot. Service was fantastic as well during the lunch rush. Cons: ran out of certain desserts by lunch time and the restroom was flooded with a report made by several patrons but no attention given.

This is my third time here and I love the service. The people are so sweet and attentive. The food is mediocre, all for the exception of the CRONUT. This is the best Cronut I have tried in Dallas this far.

Quick lunch spot. Sat at bar. Ordered a club sandwich and a Stella(that kinda day at work). Waiter was nice and had good convo. Only thing I really don’t like is the manager lady. Not sure of her name? I haven’t been in almost a year due to her. She yells at the staff and always seems super stressed out. Here today and there she is… Yelling at staff. Thankfully, they weren’t busy or I’m sure I would have heard more yelling. Might be back in another year.

We ate here today and had the beef tenderloin«tacos»(the ingredients are fully contained in a rolled flour tortilla, which is a burrito), crêpe florentine, and two Irish coffees. Beef tenderloin tacos: — meat was grey colored, over-cooked, and chewy — the plated food appeared to have been sitting for a while — the ingredients didn’t taste fresh Crêpe florentine — the scrambled eggs inside the crêpe had a brownish grey hue — the crêpe itself was acceptable — the artichokes were mushy — the sauce on top of the crepes looked on the verge of breaking and was lumpy Irish coffee — good flavor — seemed fresh — nice ratio of whisky to coffee and cream The overall experience — the décor is unfocused and lacks a uniting vision. I counted 5 different styles of tile, odd placement of wall hangings, for example. — the place has far too many tables packed in. No good place to stand while you’re waiting for a table. Couldn’t walk to the bathroom without coming awkwardly close to the other diner’s tables, and I’m a fairly slender person. — host staff was friendly — waiter made no eye contact — menu is also unfocused with far too many items — layout, typography, and design of menu is very amateur. Looks quite cheap — men’s restroom was a bit scary I caution against eating here if you expect a great experience.

I came here with a bunch of my running buddies after a steamy jaunt through Arbor Hills and we had a wonderful time! It has been forever. It’s a great spot to catch up, cool off and enjoy their beautiful patio. The food seems like it has improved just a bit! My almond milk latte was fantastic, our waiter was on it and the smoked salmon benedict was so savory and good! I’ll have to keep this one on my brunch list for sure.

Had the chorizo breakfast burrito here. It wasn’t too bad. It lacked seasoning. I wasn’t able to taste the eggs. The chorizo had a strong flavor but seemed lacking. Service was good. Our waitress was attentive to our needs.

Desserts do not taste as though they were made fresh on site. The tiramisu was about the equivalent of what you would get from Walmart. Out of four desserts, tiramisu, cheesecake, ganache crème brûlée and bombe(chocolate mousse, crème brûlée covered in ganache). The ganache crème brûlée was by far the best however the bottom crust tasted very stale. I know restaurants can not control the attitude of the employees but when people are rude at the register it really impacts the decision to return or not to return.

Oatmeal brulee FTW! It is by far THEBEST oatmeal you will ever have. The flamed brown sugar on top with strawberries and bananas. So delicious. If you want a traditional breakfast(bacon, eggs, potatoes) go with the Le Parisien. Otherwise, the french toast and crepes are a good choice!

OMG. Croughnts are so amazing. Somehow they managed to bake an orgasm into a pastry. I could spend an hour listing all the ways this is incredible. But honestly they could serve this in a gas station men’s room and I would still give them 5 stars. It is worth the trip. With that said I did enjoy the environment and the rum and coke was well poured. I have every intention of turning this into a date night and any other excuse I can use to go. I gave them a 5 for a few reasons. I believed they worked for it. Were there some things I could pick at and make it a 4 sure but honestly they are petty and didn’t affect my experience. things like the bar not only needs a soda gun but a foot rail. However they were still prompt with my drink and very accommodating. They made me feel as if I were a regular. Well Done MSB&B keep up the good work.
