More than helpful every time I shop at the store or need something specialized. Amanda(the owner) is beyond creative and has gone out of her way to create personalized invitations and gifts for my customers. Amanda spends the time working with me to make sure I am getting exactly what I want, and the end result is usually better than I imagined. On top of the wonderful women that work here, the store is so cute and fun. I can’t leave without buying more than I need. You just walk in and want to buy. Anytime I need a unique gift for a friend, this is my one stop shop. Thanks for all you do!

The first time I went into this store will be my last. I walked in and was approached by a middle aged woman with short blonde hair. The way she spoke was completely condescending and snooty, almost like she thought I did not belong in her store. I ignored the rude tone and went on shopping. I came looking for nice stationary and paper and instead found a selection of random junk and trinkets. If you’re going to own a stationary store, you should probably have actual stationary. The paper that they did have was cutesy, but not good quality. At this point I was just ready to leave, and then I was approached by a younger brunette woman whom I assume was the manager. She greeted me and called me «sweetie» in the most annoying southern accent I have ever heard. I am a woman in my 40’s and I don’t want to be called«sweetie» by some young woman, I find it disrespectful. Her knowledge about stationary was insufficient and she seemed very overwhelmed with her business. I recommend going somewhere that does not have rude sales associates and a manager that actually knows what shes doing.

Our family loves this store and the women who work at it — they’ve never let us down!

This place is under new ownership. Amanda and Sue are so sweet and helpful. Amanda is the owner, and she can sit down with you and create completely customized wedding invitations. She was a referral from my wedding planner, and she was fantastic. She got my invites done in 3 days! We’ve gone back to her several times for other invitations and gifts. We will continue to return and support this small business owner!

Socially Write is nestled in a bunch of swanky stores at the Shops of Legacy. So if you’re out and you forgot a birthday gift or need a quick card, it is nice to not stray from the beaten path. Leave it at that. For larger orders they should up their game. It was the fourth place I looked for customized wedding invitations. The owner welcomed me, Marc, the fiancé and Madame Hershee, the dog into the store. Whopppeee I thought a family affair! She sat down and helped us choose the invitation wording, font, colored ink, and the whole nine. But the service stopped there. I chose to buy my own paper because it took them three weeks to get a shipment of the specialty paper I wanted. I went downtown and got it the same day. I only needed the invitations printed on a printing press with colored ink. I was emailed a proof of the invite(with the wrong wedding date) a few days later. They corrected the mistake and said I should have 75 printed invitations, envelopes, and response cards in four or five days. Two weeks went by and when I called to check on my order it felt like I was bothering them! After two more days I didn’t hear from them, so I stopped by and low and behold– the finished invitations were sitting out on a table. Fast forward a few months to round two. Post wedding, when it was time to send thank you cards, I went back because the invitations they printed were really elegant and beautiful. I told them about the compliments we received, but that wasn’t motivation to keep me as a customer. I was promised they’d get back to me with corresponding thank you cards. They called three and half weeks later. By that time, I had already wised up and ordered what I needed from a larger company. It is a very cute store, they are sporadically friendly but staffers seem to forget that people can take their business elsewhere. I spent $ 400 for them to PRINT75 invitations. Is that not worth a little follow through? Still, the store is worth checking out. The selections are superb, but visit other places to compare prices. Honestly, the owner is sweet and knowledgeable but a little overwhelmed. For large events and party planning ideas, they are your go to store… if they aren’t too busy.

This place is terrible. There are snooty and unhelpful salespeople and a poor selection of invitations and paper goods. They also charge printing fees per card and are more expensive than others in the area. I used them a couple of times several years ago and things were different(better) there, but the last visit was, well… my last visit forever.
