This location has some sort of problem with getting the food in a bag. I cannot remember the last time that they got it right. Either the hash browns are missing, they forget a drink, no sauces… It really isn’t hard to put food in a bag or read the screen to figure out what was ordered. The problem isn’t the person taking the order its what happens after that. I worked at a steak and shake drive thru when I was a teenager and I could get it right back then. Why is it so hard for an adult to get it right?

Thank goodness that McDonald’s finally expanded their breakfast to be served all day. I can remember many weekend mornings where I put the pedal to the medal to get there by 10:30am only to get there too late. The only downside is it is a limited breakfast menu after 10:30. After that cutoff they dont have my favorite(bacon egg and cheese biscuit, but the drive thru attendant did suggest I could get a bacon egg and cheese muffin which is comparable(it was). So rest assured that you can sleep in and still get some sort of breakfast item.

After one too many dry and rubbery burgers, I stopped ordering myself a burger when I take my son. I’m embarrassed to admit that sometimes a hot, greasy & cheesy double cheeseburger just hits the spot. Unfortunately with McDonald’s in general, you have to take a chance on freshness. Is losing customers really less important than those leftover patties from two hours ago? The Big Breakfast Platter and biscuits and gravy are still a favorite of mine for breakfast. Because they are open 24/7, you wouldn’t expect to let down at 5 am when you pull up to order. On numerous occasions at only this location, no one acknowledged me at the speaker or the honking at the window. Most of the time I’m craving it so bad I pull in and wait. Once I see a car successfully exit the drive thru I pull back around. Where are the employees?

Anyone knows, if you want something quick… this is the place to be, just like any other fast food restaurant. If you want something fresh, like their fries, they’re pretty darn good if you order them with NO salt. This means you’ll get a fresh, hot batch out of the grease, not ones that have been sitting under a hot light and you can sprinkle your own salt on them. THEBEST! I love to get their Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad, with grilled chicken, with the Southwest Salad dressing. Once you chop it up real good, squeeze the dressing on and mix it up, it’s DELICIOUS.

This is one of a number of McDonalds restaurants owned by local franchisee O’Reilly. My experience with this and other such outlets has been that this owner cares about quality, service, appearance and, in general, all public facing aspects of the business. The restaurants are clean, the employees are friendly, the food is good and fresh. My visits to this location over the years(I’m afraid to even think of how many it might be) have reflected all of the above. Breakfast is probably the meal I eat here the most, and it’s always been good. Just this week, I ordered my standby(sausage and egg McMuffin with folded egg; this serves a twofold purpose of getting a fresh item and getting that yummier scrambled egg like the biscuits have), and it was delivered hot and tasty. The muffin was fresh, and the other ingredients were hot but not overdone. My order was served with a smile and despite the custom order, it was handed to me almost before I could roll to a stop in the drive-thru. In short, this is a great location for McFood, and I probably confirm that fact on an all too frequent basis.
