Let’s be honest, some people can let a child cut their hair and it will still look good. I am not one of those lucky people and thus I’ve gone stylist to stylist, looking for someone that can work a little magic. A few things you might care about:
1) Shiva is all about naturally healthy hair. She will make product recommendations, vitamin recommendations, hair styling tips, etc to keep your hair healthier. I haven’t been able to will myself to follow all her directions but I have seen some improvements.
2) Haircuts are good. Not just the day I walk out of the salon, but also when I take a hurried 10 min to style my own hair.
3) I just tried a color for the first time about a month ago. I got partial highlights in 3 different shades. Shiva suggested a mild approach to get me used to it since I haven’t colored my hair in a number of year, bu I urged her to go «artificial» as I was only doing this for fun and wanted it to be noticeable. It turned out fantastic and I have had a lot of positive feedback from family and close friends.
4) I absolutely LOVE how punctual Shiva is. I have yet to ever wait for an appointment upon arrival. In my experience, this is a unique quality for hair stylists.

I really wanted to love this experience after all the perfect reviews online– I paid enough for it. The stylist was kind of abrasive and was constantly texting on her phone while she worked. I feel like 2.5 stars for a nice look on the day– but once I washed it and styled it, the cut just didn’t suit my hair type. We talked at length beforehand about what I could maintain and I guess this just wasn’t a match. That said, I do find it questionable that there are nothing but 5 star reviews on all her rating sites. Oh well.

I’m in love with Shiva and what she does to my hair! I moved to Dallas 3 years back and have been her regular customer since then! She is undoubtedly my best find in the city! I can’t imagine moving out of Dallas and going to someone else for my hair, she is that great at her job. She is not just an hair artist but more like a care taker for my hair.
She is more than passionate about her job and makes her customers fall in love with their hair.
I got partial highlights to my hair 2 years back, and overtime lightened my hair from dark brown to med brown. I go for monthly hair cut and color. I also have got keratin done from her twice! My hair has become beautiful looking and more importantly healthy, shiny and soft over time. I strongly recommend visiting her and trust me you will never regret it !

Shiva was amazing! I got my hair done last week and I’ve received nothing but compliments. She was so kind and attentive, a real gem of a find. I loved that she listened to what I wanted as well as gave her professional opinion. I highlight my hair for the first time in 10 years so I was kind of nervous, but she did a wonderful job and I’ll for sure go to her for all my hair needs from now on.

I highly recommend Shiva to anyone who cares about her hair style. I love what Shiva did to my hair. Several hairdressers have tried different highlights on my hair, but what Shiva did was outstandingly different and unique. I love my highlight and I have never seen such a unique job before. My haircut is also so unique and stylish… thank God, I never have problem looking for other hairdressers in Dallas area. Good job Shiva!
