The Little Gym of Plano

I booked this location for my son’s birthday because I had a really good experience in friend’s kid birthday at the same location. It turned out lots of free play and totally different planning. I will not go back again.

My wife and I brought our two year old son for the first time today. We wanted to help him build his core strength and social skills. We’ve done Gymboree classes during his first year but wanted to try something different and close by home.
First impression was good. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating this being our first time. The class we attended at 10 a.m. was packed, but we enjoyed all the activities that Mr. Tom went through.
When my 2 year old was nervous and wanted out, it was Mr Tom and the staff that helped me make him comfortable and complete the class activities. At the end of the activities, my 2 yr old was comfortable enough and was interacting joyously with other kids around him.
We are thinking of enrolling for weekend classes but the pricing are on the high end…

I am soo disappointed, I was really looking forward to taking my daughter here. Unfortunately the Management, Ms. Christy and the staff have not been trained in the art of customer service. The phrase «smiling faces tell lies» comes to mind. I enrolled my daughter here to take a class and after the first «free trial» class I decided that this was not the best fit for my child. I notified Ms. Christy that day mind you, the same day they charged my card. I was told I would get a refund within 5 – 7 business days, without incident. All I got was the run around, a bunch of lies and a final conversation with Ms. Christy who said and I quote «Well if you wanted a full refund you should have been polite»!
Is that what she teaches her children? That it is ok to steal someones money if your offend by them. I did not realize it was a personal offense to withdraw my child from a free trial class, silly me paying in advance with hopes that it would work out. These people have no shame and clearly all of their morals have gone out the window along with their dignity.

I wish all of my kids bday parties could be here! First of all the staff is AMAZING! As soon as I arrived to set up for the party I had 5 staff members lined up ready to help. They brought in items from my car and even me decorate. I couldn’t believe it! Of course the kids loved the activities and the staff is wonderful with keeping the energy up and FUN! I HIGHLY recommend The Little Gym in PLano!!!

This is a great place for kids. They learn alot of motor, developmental, and motor skills. The teachers keep the class upbeat and are very patient. Parents (family, attending friends, etc) are encouraged to participate. Only thing is, it’s better for kids who can follow instructions and take part well. Otherwise, it may not feel worth the time and money. Kids love the obstacles and have fun.
They have great birthday parties for kids too. My nephew had his 3^rd birthday here and it was alot of fun. His parents hardly lifted a finger. All the other kids (& parents) had fun too. The instructors did plenty of activities and played fun songs. Everyone loved the obstacles. There were at least 20(+) adults and about 15(+) kids and still plenty of room in the main room. Just enough chairs for kids in eating room as well. Adults were just fine standing. It was fun, easy (at the party for the parents), and the kids loved it. Don’t know pricewise but I recommend the place.

While my husband couldn’t quite fathom the prices for classes, the results are more than worth it. Within the first two weeks our baby’s core strength and social skills had become so advanced. She is thrilled every time we go to class or practice! As a bonus the classes not only challenge her mentally and physically, they wear her out so she naps well, giving mommy some much needed down time.

I had my daughter birthday party at the little gym in Plano and i was very disappointed with the associates who ran the birthday party. I have been to two birthday parties in past 2 months at little gym one in Dallas and one in Plano and the program for the kids were much more entertaining than what they had for my daughter. They never assisted the kids with the gym equipment. The parents had to assist each and every kid, the program began with one music that lasted 2 minutes and it was boring for all kids, there was never any basketball playing like the other two birthdays, the parachute play lasted 2 minutes, no bubble playing at the end of the program. I was very unhappy with the way the program ran and i felt as if i only paid to rent the gym for my daughter’s party. i would not do it there again or recommend it to any of my friends. i believe that the program should run with professionals that are willing to assist the kids and have energy to perform such a program. The only reason i was convinced to have it there was the fact that the other two birthdays were very entertaining so i believe that the training for the associated should be much more detailed than the one i saw today.
