Great area for a night out! At the Shops at Legacy, there is such a variety of things you can do whether it’s shopping, eating at a restaurant, staying at a hotel, even going to get some ice cream and more. Most of the restaurants in this area can be pretty expensive, but they are are all delicious! The Shops at Legacy is a place you can take family, boyfriend/girlfriend, and coworkers. This is definitely a area I would recommend to anyone if they haven’t visited before! The only disadvantages are that it usually is a pretty busy area so it can be crowded, and most of the places are expensive. If you haven’t been in this area, I would highly recommend you go try it out sometime!

Really cute area with an assortment of restaurants and shops. I was expecting a mall but was totally wrong. It is similar to the layout at Park Lane near NorthPark. You can park the car and just wander as everything is located close together and the planner had in mind a walking experience. I had not been here before and it is quite far for us to drive but I was favorably impressed with the selection of shopping and eating. I saw lots of chain restaurants – Half Shells, Zoe’s, Mi Cocina, Chipotle, lots of others – and some places that do not appear to be chains. Angelika is there if you want a movie. Lots of free public parking which is great. We went to Kenny’s Smokehouse and it is great. The Shops seem like a really great way to spend a day and relax with eating and shopping.

A well designed outdoor shopping complex and this clean and filled with tons of restaurants. It’s not large in comparison to other Dallas malls so therefore there are less places to shop. It’s a good place if you can’t decide what to eat, but most of the places are of the chain variety.

The best!!! Favorite hot spots: Ra, Scruffy Duffies, Sambuca 360, Ginger Man, Ringo’s. Favorite places to eat: Coal Vines Pizza, Village Burger Bar, Mi Cocina, Capital Grille(if you can afford it), Nicolas, and Mamas Pita! Enjoy the best food and shopping in North Texas :)

When I moved to Dallas last year from Los Angeles everyone recommended me to the Shops at Legacy for shopping. I lived about a mile from Rodeo and lived in the Miracle Mile for a few years so having high end dining and shopping at my fingertips was something I got used to. When I first came to the Shops at Legacy I was disappointed by a few things. First off I found parking to be a bit difficult. Someone had just been murdered and stuffed into their trunk a few months after I moved here at the Shops of Legacy and I noticed that in some parts the parking was very secluded and dark. Also, there was a lot of rowdy younger people running around. I understand that this is normal for shopping areas but when you are selling the high end shopping experience I would have expected a little bit of security and having kids running around chasing each other, running into patrons, and talking loudly with language that would embarrass Andrew Dice Clay turns people off. The shop selection was decent and the shops we did walk into had great employees. I know it may seem very elitist in my review but again when I compare the high class shopping experience I would expect a little bit more.

Shops at Legacy has always been just alright. Because there is nothing else in the area, some of the places here can get away with higher prices. In the next few years, there’s going to be a lot more competition. The shops are nice and I always like the decorations in the winter. I always bring my out of town friends here, but they’re never impressed. The shops, restaurants and bars look better than they actually are. I think they’ll be forced to step it up when the Omni gets built :)

This is a great place to visit for people visiting from out of town. Imagine all the stores that are available at an indoor mall, and they are then placed outside in a small downtown-like setting. Wonderful outdoor sitting areas and public places. Hear music in the streets. This setting takes full advantage of the warm Texas weather, especially at night, when it is more comfortable. An outdoor mall with high end boutiques and restaurants. Parking can be troublesome in evening, however, so plan ahead.

Do you want to see a movie? Go to brunch? Have a cup of coffee with a friend? Buy some workout clothes… you can do all of that and more here. They have a few little boutiques, an Urban Outfitters, a MiCocina(or Taco Diner) and also some non chain type places. You can walk around the area, sit outside, and sometimes they will do live music outdoors on the weekends. There’s plenty of free parking and lots of things to do in the area any time of year. Overall I like it and will always find an excuse to make my way out here! If you’ve never been it’s worth checking out especially on the weekends when there’s more going on and lots of people watching.

Shops at Legacy is a great alternative to those who do not want to drive down to Uptown for fun. The list of eateries is endless and they have a lot of great stores for shopping. A few of my favs are Henry’s Tavern for sports &RA Sushi happy hour. Don’t forget the most important meal of the day, breakfast at Main Street Bakery! If you want something low key in this area(not sure if that’s possible), you got Paciugo, Chipotle, or Potbelly. No matter which side you are at, you can find decent parking. If you’re trying to gather up a few friends for a weekend night outing. good luck fighting the crowd! Unless you got big purses to push people over(jk! Be nice!)

I love this outdoor hang-out mall/restaurant/whatchamacallit place. It’s definitely one of the best places to spend an evening or a lazy Sunday brunch. I really like coming her on Holidays too(like New Year’s Eve dinner). It’s bustling enough to be a little celebration, but not quite overwhelming as some place downtown. They have some of the most amazing restaurants here. The service and food might not always be up to par, but they location is simply great. I love spending a summer afternoon out on the patio enjoying the beautiful day. The best part is walking around before or after brunch, checking out a few cute shops. It’s also a great place for photo-opps. Definitely recommend it for some homecoming/prom pictures, engagement photos, and just a we need some cute photos so I can instagram/facebook/tumblr/etc. them. Parking is the only downside. I can never remember where I parked in such a big complex. But if you find a garage and can manage to remember where you left your car, you’re good to go. :)

An incredibly well planned retail and dining experience. We came here for Mama Pita and walked around during the holiday season. The lighting and décor is great, you can see why Plano is such a great place to settle down here. Nice crowd, very safe as they have plenty of security, and a great place the whole family can hang out. Just about every cuisine is represented through Legacy. there is an upscale feel to the retail shops as more higher end designers are present. I can see this being the place to go to get out of the house and feel human for a while.

OK I actually LOVE the Shop at Legacy and all my favorite bars and restaurants around here! I have been coming here for at least three years. Pretty good spot and nice area in Plano to hang out and have dinner with family and friends, or even a good choice for a date. There are a lot of good high-end bars and restaurants, like season 52, Fireside Pies, Kenny’s Smokehouse, Henry’s Tavern, etc. Or even Chipotle and Greek restaurant. The place is very nice, clean, and maintained well. There is a parking building behind all restaurants, which is nice. It is quiet and relaxing enough to pull out a book and start reading, or just take a relaxing walk. It can get crowded, but not too busy and loud. So check this out pals :)

My all-time favorite place to: — hang out — bring friends — eat good food — walk around — forget about life for a while — meet new people — see cool cars — people watch(especially the drunks and lovebirds on the weekends) — watch non mainstream films — listen to awesome live music I’ve been coming here for years and I feel so lucky that I live 2 mins away. It is a true one of a kind gem. It’s always the first place I bring my guests from out of town, it’s the best place to be during Christmas time with all the lights, and there’s really something for everyone(there’s even a cemetery in the middle of all the lights and chaos!) The Shops has a special place in my heart. There are so many other places like Shops at Legacy popping up around Dallas now– but nothing will ever be like the true original.

Pretty good area in Plano. They have different restaurant in here and all of them taste pretty decent like kenny’s smoke house, RA Sushi etc. They also have a decent night life for adult. If you are in college, is not your scene to be here at night. They also have some sports bar here as well, so not a bad idea to come here during NFL Sunday.

LOVE the Shops at Legacy! I remember way back when, 8yrs ago when it was kind of like a hidden gem. Now it’s packed every weekend. If you want to avoid the crazy crowds, go during the week, and after lunch time. The Shops has expanded so much, so many restaurants, shops and residential choices. If I was young and single, I’d definitely want to live there! Some of our favorite eating spots are Mama Pita, Mi Cocina, Taco Diner, Main St Bakery, Capital Grill, Season’s 52 and Fireside Pies.

I like this place! Yay for being trendy in the ‘burbs! They’ve got plenty of restaurants that range from high end to lower priced spots such as Chipotle. They’ve got some shopping options, none that are really my style. but it’s nice to have. I do enjoy the little walking area by the water. It’s very pretty and nice to sit out there on a lovely evening. This place definitely has the makings for a great date night!

You can never go wrong with the shops! They have everything from high end to low end(price wise) restaurants, bars, and boutiques. There is something for everyone. Parking can be a bit frustrating here, but most of the places offer free valet. That’s one thing people don’t know. I discovered that not too long ago and my trips to the shops have been a lot easier. Once you are done with eating, drinking, and shopping, you can walk around and enjoy the scenery. At night, the fountains light up and for the holidays they have beautiful lights everywhere.
