The banh xeo here is really good! The phở is okay. I’ve had better. They have pressed juices which are tasty and refreshing(also they’re buy 2 get 1 free). You get more bang for your buck because the sizes of the plates/bowls are big! We shared 4 entrees between 6 people.

What the Phở! Great play on words. Amazing food. The phở is in ridiculous size portions and crazy cheap. I made the mistake of ordering the Beef Phở egg rolls and dumplings. It was almost a buffet. Great service no need to order any drinks if you’re eating phở that’s a lot of liquid any way. This place is great and you won’t break the bank.

Dirt cheap Vietnamese food located inside of the 99 ranch supermarket. No one who has ever had good Vietnamese food would consider this spot it but for a quick convenient bite this spot is perfect. Egg rolls are 4 for 1 $. Miscellaneous wrapped meals in front of the counter are 3 for 6 $. Sandwiches are b1g1 at about 3.99 a piece. Please remember that this is a food court style fast casual spot. Although they have a specified dining area, you should not expect full service. Extremely quick casual and delicious.

Went today to get my V51 beef soup. Wonderful. The broth is sooo good. Also picked up two Bahn Mi Pork sandwichs. Fast service and great food.

This is a small stand inside Ranch 99. I’ve been eating at the main restaurant Bistro B for years. Their food isn’t the best, but it’s cheap and above average. My favorite items to order are the chao tom cuon(fried shrimp spring rolls) and the 4/$ 1 egg rolls. It’s a great place to get some Bistro B food without having to drive all the way to Garland. However, they get 2 stars, because the food just took way too long to order. I only ordered the spring rolls, and it took about 30 minutes for it to come out. My family had already finished grocery shopping, and I was still waiting for my order to come out.

Sister restaurant to Bistro B. It’s about time they opened something farther north for those of us who live near Oklahoma — hah. Food is tasty. Selection is massive. Everything we’ve had has been delicious, except the shrimp/pork rolls(I think the lettuce was old). Drinks come in these huge cups that look like tubs. Seating is limited. Floors are a little slippery. Will definitely go again!

The place is new and nice; it’s located inside 99 ranch. I had the shrimp spring rolls; it was soft and warm with a fried wonton wrap inside that adds a nice crunch to it. Also, the sauce was sweet and savory! FOOD: 4⁄5 SERVICE: 4⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

I would come back because this place is easy to order and food comes quickly. Quality was decent, but not the best I have ever eaten. However, I was also extremely tired and hungry so based on that — I think the food was pretty good. It’s more of a quick cafeteria eat than anything else. The inside is very basic and the neon says it all. I wouldn’t invite your business partner here, but I would eat here if I was grocery shopping and in the area and needed some quick eats. I ordered a rice plate with grilled pork and my husband had a phở bowl. Everything was in pretty big portions and I didn’t end up finishing my food. I have no complaints about food, although it was pretty packed at 9pm on a Saturday. Again, don’t come expecting great service or atmosphere or you will be severely disappointed. I did not get sick or anything after I ate. I had a pleasant experience and hope you will too!

Yes, this place is inside of the 99 Ranch grocery store, and yes, it is good. My favorite part of the entire place is that you can seat yourself, get your own extra bowls, utensils, napkins, and to-go boxes if needed. You stand in a queue and get a number when you order. They give you a bottle of water with a number on it, which is how they find you. With kids, we can get our own bowl to share the phở with them. The staff is friendly and they have a permanent special, buy one get one free banh mis. I always get some to go for later. At $ 3.99(so $ 2 each), it is a great deal. The phở is decent. The reason for 3 stars is that the dining area is dizzying. They have these disco laser lights that simply have to go.

Tried out the lemongrass chicken banh mi. Bread was a bit chewy. A bit too much mayo and the seasoning on the chicken tasted like it had a bit too much MSG. Like the other reviews said, the place looks like a disco tech.

Cheap, delicious and fast! Located right inside the Asian market. I’ve had their Banh Mi twice now and both times it’s made fresh and really good.

Food here is about average, but it’s a good value. I would not choose to come here to eat, but if some friends wanted to come I’d get a banh mi sandwich and some egg rolls. I was not too thrilled with the phở or other dishes but I know others like the food here. The disco ball and lights made my wife dizzy.

The fried spring rolls are 4 for $ 1 and are just chilling next to the cashier, staring at you while you order the rest of your meal. «I’ll have the beef phở and about 100 spring rolls please!» My beef combo phở(#36) was really good. The brisket was probably the best brisket I’ve had in a phở in a very long time and they give you plenty of meatballs, tripe, tendon and all of the other yummy things. The best thing was probably the pork spring rolls(non-fried). Huge strips of pork and they even put in some of the fried wonton wrappers in the middle to give it a nice, little crunch with each bite. My bro ordered the beef stew noodles, which looked good(see pic) but he said the beef and carrots were tough. Where the food is a 4 for me, the atmosphere brings it down to a 3. The music was super loud, playing random pop music at such a high volume that it was hard for me to hear what my family was saying. The colored disco ball things and the fact the tv was on and the extremely bright colored walls made me feel like I was in a bad dream. But the biggest thing was that it didn’t feel clean. My spoon was dirty, the table had left over phở broth that was just pushed around with a dirty rag.

This location became one of my favorite fast food location. Of course most people would recognize that it is a «(express) branch» of Bistro B. Now I don’t have to travel far to get the great food! I like the Durian Boba in particular. When drinking the smoothie, you feel like eating durian — I think they do use real durian fruit. The noodles and rice combo are as good as in Bistro B, but I do notice some times the meat and/or sausages are a little overlooked or too hard to bite — not a big deal, since they still taste great! One small complaint though — they overdid the dining area with disco lighting. It can be quite distracting some times. The dining area is also a little small, so expect some wait when you eat in at the peak hours.

This is a restaurant/fast food counter located inside Ranch 99 right in front of their bakery. Only giving this place 3 stars because of their prices. They had B1G1 Vietnamese sandwiches at $ 3.99 each. We bought 4 sandwiches — 2 special combo and 2 bbq pork. We were disappointed in the food. The bbq pork had sriracha and plum sauce in it. Not how I like my banh mis at all. I like it the authentic way and those kind of condiments belong in phở, not banh mis. The bread was so hard and chewy, not crispy on the outside and soft inside as they should be. The eggrolls were 4/$ 1 and, although it may seem like a good deal, the eggrolls had been sitting on the heating lamp all day and the meat inside was tough. Không co ngon. =( And service was SOOOO slow. It must have taken them close to 20 minutes to make our 4 sandwiches. I guess you get what you pay for, huh?

I have never eaten phở under a disco ball and rainbow lights before. The wall décor is made up of huge colorful pictures of banh mi, an entire wall dedicated to a cityscape advertising«What the Phở» on fake billboards, and graphic stickers screaming«Food!», «Fun!», «Family!», and«Smoothies!». To top it all off, you’ve got Black Eyed Peas techno-beat instrumentals playing in the background. Also, there are two big-screen televisions broadcasting the news. It’s a lot to take in, but I guess you cannot expect a restaurant called«What the Phở» to exude classiness. They could probably cut electricity costs if they removed the huge, rotating strobe light on the ceiling that blinded me every 360 degrees.(Just for anyone looking to start a phở restaurant, «Disco Drink Bar» is not the most appropriate theme.) The phở was alright — huge portions, on the plus side, but my boyfriend didn’t like it much at all. He said they messed up the meatballs. How the phở can you possibly serve up bad frozen meatballs when you are located inside an Asian market?! I ordered the«3 Bean Dessert», which was not good. They served it to me in a boba cup with a significant layer(maybe 1⁄3 of the cup) of ice — not large enough to pick out, but not small enough to eat comfortably. There wasn’t even anything to slurp up and it was impossible to mix up since there was so much ice, so I had to dump everything into a bowl and eat it with a spoon.(They did serve it to me with both a spoon and a smoothie straw, so they were probably confused too.) Eating the dessert was also difficult because every time I ate a spoonful, I was biting through chunks of ice. Do they know you can injure your teeth by biting ice?! I suggest they 1) either make it a «shaved ice» dessert(with actual shaved ice) or a straight-up drink so as to avoid confusing how-do-I-eat-this situations, and 2) make the red beans smaller, because they were really big. Couldn’t finish the dessert, because my teeth were getting tired and all of the ice was melting into my coconut milk — it was a watery mess. I probably won’t be back until they have a huge décor overhaul. I think the obnoxious décor actually intensifies every negative thing about the meal because you are just so annoyed.(Granted, the BOGO $ 4 Banh Mi’s might be worth it though, if you take them to-go?)

They’re banh mi is so alright… And cheap! They’re décor is very flashy so it may be straining on the eyes … Haven’t had the phở yet, kind of expensive but you don’t have to pay tips. Currently drinking they’re mango boba. I was so excited Cuz the portion is huge! But it’s rather a disappointment. The boba is rock hard, they didn’t cook it long enough so it just makes it unpleasant. It’s super sweet as well. Eggrolls are 4 for a dollar. Guess I won’t be going to bistro b anymore! Ps. They take a hecka long time to get you your food. 2 banh mis took 15 minutes to make

Eh, didn’t really like their banh mi. Unfortunately this is a sister of Bistro B and. I don’t like Bistro B. I ordered the cold cut combo and grilled beef sandwich. Yup got the BOGO deal for $ 4. The cold cut combo had some weird meat inside that I didn’t finish eating. The grilled beef had jerky beef that made me chew hundred times. The bread wasn’t as soft like I had at other places. The only good thing was the service. They give you FREE tin of chinese cookies if you purchase more than $ 15. There are oranges on the table for you to have as well. I could pass on the cookies because they might not be real cookies. jk lol Anyways the same bistro vibe is the theme and it’s somewhat self-serve. They serve the food but everything else you get on your own. I won’t recommend this place to anyone but go ahead and try it on your own will. Phở Phở Eva~

This is located inside of 99 Ranch. Once you enter the doors, make a right. I saw that they were having BOGO free sandwiches. I’ve had a really bad craving for vietnamese sandwiches that I came back 2 days in a row! –__– Not sure how long this promo is going… but once that is over they still have Buy 2, get one free sandwiches as it states on the menu. First visit was not the best. I waited 25 minutes for just two sandwiches. Probably because the people in front of me ordered about 4 – 6 sandwiches each. You can watch the employees make the sandwiches and spring rolls in the front. Unfortunetely the ran out of grilled pork and I had to sub grilled beef instead. The other sandwich was the cold cut and I asked for extra mayo on both. It bothered me that the cashier did not understand my request of extra mayo. Even when I started speaking vietnamese, she still didn’t understand me. That kind of told me she must not have been vietnamese… but hey you still need to know the food you’re serving. Sandwiches were tasty, the bread is a bit softer than what I’ve had before but it’s a good thing for me. My second time I ordered 4 sandwiches since the BF enjoyed it so much. I ordered spring rolls as well. They have a huge menu for spring rolls! More than 10 and they’re all under $ 5. These are a great meal alone. The peanut sauce is good and veggies were fresh. They have phở and rice plates so hopefully I’ll get around to trying that. But I’ll be back for sandwiches and spring rolls for sure!

What the Phở is located inside Ranch 99 off Spring creek in Plano. It is a small satellite store of Bistro B in Richardson. The menu is limited but the food is as what you would expect from Bistro B — solid. Seating is a bit limited, Bahn mi promo is BOGO. North Dallas fans of Bistro B, your drive just got a bit shorter for .25 cent egg rolls, among other things.
