Food is good but way over priced takes way too long. I you have an hour in a half spare time you can have a grilled cheese sandwich.

If you care about not eating greasy food, pass on this place. But considering that I’m not a pansy and love big sandwiches, two thumbs up.

The food here was so delicious and fresh! However, the lack of understanding of customer service was disappointing. No smile, hello, or greeting. Just waited for us to order, took the order and forgot several details like– to go or to stay, our name, drinks etc. Same employee brought our food out when a lady from the kitchen yelled at her to bring the food back pretty anxiously. She hesitated and the lady again yelled from the kitchen… She then took our food back to the kitchen and then brought it back saying there wasn’t a mistake, nevermind. No apology or explanation just here is your food. It was comical how bad the service was but we enjoyed the flavor and quality of the food too much to care. Come here with a good amount of patience!

Cute little restaurant in downtown PG. Service was fine, a smile goes a long way… As mentioned on the wall, it’s not quick 10 – 15 minutes for your order. So expect that, I was in no hurry. I tried the monte cristo sandwich deep fried. For a half of a sandwich it is fairly pricy $ 5.25. Everything but the turkey was good deep fried, it was like the turkey was overcooked when it was fried. The bread and ham were amazing. I didn’t love the raspberry jam. I had a Little Dipper of tomato basil soup which was really good. Those are $ 1. Not really the sandwich to dip into this. I just didn’t want a lot to eat. Overall it was a pretty good place. I had been in before but was disgusted and it took me about 2 years to come back. I would try either not having it deep fried next time or a different sandwich.

Another awesome set of sandwiches at Craving’s bistro. Ordered the special with pork, coleslaw, cheese, and french fries. And also ordered monte cristo sandwich, excellent as usual. They need to open a place in SLC so we don’t have to travel so far. :-)

Really enjoyed our meal here. Nice staff and a fun little place to try. I got a the Turkey Bacon Avocado grilled cheese and my wife got a chicken salad(not sure which one). Mine was good and my wife considered hers great. We will try again if in the area for Lunch or Dinner.

The grilled cheese is amazing here. It was served hot to us and it came to us quickly. The chocolate chip cookie also was served warm and very tasty. Both my wife and I loved our grilled cheese sandwiches and plan on coming back this evening. It was that good. My wife had the tomato soup and that too had little mini grilled cheese sandwiches in it. Amazing!!!

Such good grilled cheese sandwiches, soups and sugar cookies! I will go here just to get the sugar cookies because they are so soft and perfect. My favorite sandwich is The Gourmet. It has spinach, artichokes and sun dried tomatoes, its so flavorful and hits the spot. My next favorite is the ABC, Apple Bacon and Cheddar. Its delicious. I’ve never had anything bad there. It does take about 15 – 20 mins to get your sandwich, but thats because it is cooked fresh and the cheese needs to melt. I love Cravings Bistro!

This place was an awesome find! Definitely a hidden gem. Loved everything about it… the atmosphere, the service, the food – what more can you ask for?! My boyfriend the Grilled Mac and Cheese with the cup of tomato bisque and I got the Monte Cristo with the dipper of tomato bisque. We were pleasantly surprised that the tomato bisque came with a dollop of sour cream and in the cup size, came with croutons which was a plus for my boyfriend. The dipper was the perfect amount for me and my sandwich. I loved that they used shredded turkey in the Monte Cristo and that they served the raspberry jam on the side. Perfect crispy outside and cheesy gooey-ness(if that’s even a word) on the inside. I everything on the menu looked so delicious it was hard to decide! Definitely will be back to try more! P. S. Got a sugar cookie and was a little disappointed, tasted a little doughy and pretty under-cooked(not in a good way). But all the other food we had was perfection! Still deserves five stars in my book!

This café is really a hole in the wall and the sandwich I ate was pretty good but the other stuff is so-so. Unfortunately, I didn’t go hungry so I didn’t order a sandwich. I did have the opportunity to eat some of my husband’s gourmet sandwich and I must say that it was delightfully cheesy with a pleasant mix of spinach and sundried tomatoes. I know the menu says there are artichokes in the sandwich but I didn’t notice much of it. I absolutely regret not being hungry because I’m sure the other sandwiches were good as well. Now, on to my order. I ordered a small mac and cheese and a side of the soup of the day: Clam chowder. I wasn’t a fan of the either. The mac and cheese wasn’t cheesy enough. It was kind of tacky, like when you add too much flour to your butter so the roux becomes a bit more doughy. Anyways, it didn’t have that essence of mac and CHEESE for me. On the other hand, the clam chowder was strangely sweet. I love clam chowder but I prefer it salty like how they make it San Francisco. Like I said, I wasn’t a fan so my husband used it has a sandwich dip instead. Worked out for us. I dinged the rating by a star because the other side dishes were not so great. But I would definitely come back here to try the other sandwiches.

Buttery crisp toasted to perfection bread, gooey cheese inside. Oh man. Its heavenly. I found my ultimate cheat day place and I will endulge and I dont care! If you are counting calories like myself, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for the best grilled cheese sandwich in Utah county, then you just found it. Their tomato basil soup is so good also. I love their French dip with the perfectly blended au jus dipping sauce. Service is very friendly and their food really has a home made feel.

Went to this place while driving through and it was unbelievably delicious!!! Definitely go here for a bite! I had the pesto sandwich with turkey and it was spot on. So cheesy and with the perfect level of pesto. No skimping here! I also tried the Mac and cheese after looking at the pictures and it lived up to my expectations and more. It was gooey with a little spicy kick, but not too much or overwhelming. 5⁄5 all around!

Food is 8.5 out of 10 Service is 8 out of 10 Atmosphere is 6 out of 10 Great food overall. The grilled cheese are always money. Their turkey cranberry salad are good as well. Never tried desserts. They need more staff. And the place is heated to maybe 60 – 65 degrees. Always have to dress really warm when we go. But it’s worth it :)

Cravings is amazeballs. Their sandwiches are SO good! They even have gluten-free options that taste decent – my husband has celiac disease and is able to eat here just fine. A great small, local business to support, and worth checking out for lunch or dinner!

I told my boyfriend about Cravings Bistro and he was MORE than skeptical that anyone could make grilled cheese anything more than what it is. However, he was sick one day and I dropped a French Dip and Tomato Basil soup off for him without telling him what it was. To quote him: «You win, this grilled cheese is bomb» #footinmouth

In the mood for a flavorful grilled cheese sandwich, or yummy mac & cheese, or perhaps some soup or a salad? Maybe you’d like a combination of all the above? Then come on in to Cravings! Their gourmet offerings taste fantastic. From a flavor standpoint, this place is definitely a hidden gem. My wife and I have both thoroughly loved everything we’ve had here. If Cravings is so awesome, why don’t I rate it a full five stars? Because I haven’t yet addressed the elephant in the room: price. Even as kids, we all knew that grilled cheese sandwiches made for a dirt cheap meal; if you were flat broke, you could go through the couch cushions looking for lost change and you’d be able to buy yourself a basic meal. This is just one of those truths of the universe. So here we are, watching Cravings suffer the same dilemma every other«gourmet grilled cheese» restaurant has to deal with(I’m looking at you, Melty Way) – namely, their prices are basically the same as any other lunch stop. I ordered the small mac & cheese with drink«meal deal» and added one regular sandwich from their ‘classic’ offerings(read: the cheapest sandwiches on their menu). Even still, this came to $ 10 before tax. Was it delicious? Definitely. Would I call it a good value? Not remotely. I postulate that this poor value proposition is what drove Melty Way out of business… and it makes me fear for the future of Cravings. I really did love the flavors. Will I come back? I’m certain I will. Would I come back often? No.

I ordered the ABC(Apple Bacon Cheddar) sandwich with tomato soup, and my wife got the Mac and Cheese. The ABC was really good. The soup wasn’t my favorite, a little too sweet for me, but was great as a sandwich dip. Then I tasted my wife’s Mac and Cheese. Wow! I cook as a hobby and my whole family likes the Mac and Cheese I make, but ironically, I’ve never liked it much myself because I think it’s always bland and lacking in texture. Cravings Mac and Cheese is fantastic, the best I’ve ever had anywhere. It’s flavorful, savory, nicely salty, with a surprisingly pleasant hint of sweet, smoky, and spicy, but not fatty or greasy. The pasta(though not technically macaroni – shells) is cooked just right, giving it just the right amount of bite, with the bacon bits adding a nice little crunch. We couldn’t stop eating it. We will definitely be going back for more.

We’ve never had a meal we didn’t like at Cravings. Hands down the best grilled cheese, but also THEBEST mac and cheese. The pepperjack is what really sets it apart. Great space as well. Love what they’ve done with the place. This will always be the restaurant where we bring out-of-towners.

This place has the best French dip I’ve ever had. And it’s a great price too. They have a great environment at their restaurant and I love that they have toys for kids. My only complaint(and I know it’s really trivial) is that I HATE their napkins. With all the cheese and grease I go through about 25 napkins in one meal. I talked to the owner/manager about it and she said she’s heard that before and will look into other options. She was friendly and professional. They will get a 5th and final star from me when they get better napkins! But I still love this place even if they don’t. They got new napkins! And they are 10x better than their old ones. I think it says a lot about an owner who doesn’t just give lip service to a recommendation but actually makes changes for the better. Love this place!

I’ve been hearing about this place for quite sometime. I’m not the hugest grilled cheese fan, but I thought I would give it a whirl. There menu is huge by the way. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out what I wanted. I went with the turkey dinner grilled cheese. It had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and a cranberry sauce topping. It wasn’t anything amazing, but it was pretty darn good. They could do a little better with the mashed potatoes, they seemed instant. The white bread was yummy and the cheese was great. I also ordered a cup of soup. The special was tortillas soup. And oh my. It was delicious! The flavors were great! Overall the meal was great and I expect to be back to explore the menu further. A great place and I’m sure I will be heading back often as the weather cools down. Grilled cheese and soup on a cold winters day is a recipe for success!

Stopped for a family dinner on a Saturday evening before driving up the canyon. We try to eat unique foods when we travel– this pretty much screams«Utah.» Thick white bread, lots of cheese, funky painted mismatched furniture that looks like it came from the local thrift store, and super friendly service. The kids enjoyed the KISS, pizza sticks, and ham and cheese. Hubby loved his monte cristo, and my protein salad was just as over-the –top as the grilled sandwiches. We didn’t try any desserts, but enormous sugar cookies, grilled twinkles, and over flowing cookie sundaes sure look locally authentic! Yummy, rich, and friendly.

Delicious. Difficult for conversations. The food nails it. Monte Cristo was perfectly prepared. Room full of children throwing constant tantrums in the corner, kind of disturbing. May as well be dining in a McDonald’s play place.

They have a sign that says«remember this is great food, not fast food.» Well I’ve been waiting almost 40 minutes for a to go order and it’s still not ready. Might be time to have more people working on a Saturday night. Their grilled cheese are to die for. I had the 6 cheese regular and the gourmet Mac and cheese. It was enough food for 2 people and at a super good price. They even had little toys for my 1 year old to play with. It’s definitely family friendly and the food is delicious.

I would not typically recommend consuming the amount of cheese that is standard on the gooey 6 cheese sandwich. Thus, I brought a friend and we swapped half of it! I think I need to go back to try monte cristo and the ultimate protein salad, oh and definitely the turkey bacon avocado. This first time we just tried the gooey 6 and the super gourmet(addon avocado at cost, it was really tasty) with the tomato soup combo option. They are not slow. I’ve had slower service at comparable but more chain style eateries around utah county. Just wanted to refute that complaint that I’ve seen on their reviews. The place was almost full 30 minutes before closing and I hope they do that much business pretty consistently because they are above average. Bumped from 4 to 5 for kids menu and kid friendly area in the corner.

I think I had the best tasting grilled cheese in my entire life. I don’t know how they cook that bread so perfectly? This place is always consistent and awesome. The BLT was great too and as usual the Monte Cristo is always a hit.

This is not your mama’s grilled cheese. This is a glorious grilled cheesus sandwich and totally worth the trek to Pleasant Grove. My favorite sandwich is easily the grilled mac n cheese. The short rib was cooked to perfection and everything about it was concocted so lovingly. I could just tell. The combos are also great, because you can try their candied bacon mac n cheese or their tomato bisque dippers. AWESOME! Nice spot if you’re looking to indulge. They also have GF options if you’re into that!
