Round Table Pizza

They make the customers REUSE THE SAME PLATE FOR THEIR BUFFET (both for salad bar and pizza too), I got ignored by the staff when I tried to explain to them what cross contamination was! DISGUSTING!!! STAY AWAY. There was this group of disabled kids there at the same time– God bless them. However, I could only imagine the drooling in the plates and having to reuse them!

This location is always so clean and well kept. I have never had a problem with poor customer service. The salad bar is always clean and well stocked, and the 3 tvs are always on. This may sound a little crazy but a lot of other locations have an «old sponge» smell, not this one! LOVE this location!!!

I stopped by today for the lunch special. The salad and pizza were fresh and the staff made several different types of pizzas, breadsticks and cinnamon sticks. For 7.99 per person you cant get a better deal with the same quality of pizza. Thanks again!

Quality of this place fell down quite significantly. The salad bar looks messy all the time, employees (teenagers) are very bad trained and don’t pay attention to the orders. They get the orders wrong 80% of the time and they take too long to be served or delivered. This place used to be good a couple of years ago, now it seems to be abandoned. On Saturday nights they don’t have a manager neither a cook!

So I was here on a Sunday around 4pm my first time, here it looked very good tables chairs the whole restaurant looked very nice, tables and chairs on the outside, as I went to order my pizza this other customer complained that her pizza was too saucy and wanted it re made!, so I was like ok maybe it just a picky customer? So ordered and half my pizza was cheese, I ask if they could please not burn the cheese (meaning brown spots in the cheese, I’ve been to other places and they make it without burning the cheese) option was «lightly cooked“I was asked thin or original crust, I said original, I also got a salad which the salad bar was nice! When they brought out the pizza the cheese was Burt not a lot but still burnt, so I proceeds to eat and the crust was paper thin! It was like a totinos, pizza with round table cheese! I wasn’t pleased, the fountain soda was good, the whole place was clean, and it didn’t bother me that on the outside there was a homeless women sitting there looking threw the window, watching the same TV I was watching ! Not a big deal, but to some people that may not be something they wanna see or experience, if they made the cheese not burnt and a thicker crust, I’d give em a 5 star so that’s how far they are from a 5 star, you decide.

I have stopped eating here for their lunch Buffett as they consistently under estimate –their lunch crowd and this last time I waited 15 min for pepperoni pizza to come out. Which happens to be all I eat. When it did come out 10 people rushed the Buffett. I ended up leaving having only had a drink and a mediocre salad. That cost me $ 10.94

Wow. Just wow. Customer service is not their strong suit. I’ve ordered a pizza in the past that was just never delivered.
Recently I called only to be put on hold… for 7 minutes. They finally got around to me and acted as if my order was bothering them.
The other one in Pleasant Hill is amazing. Call that one

They sent me a free pizza coupon to try and make up for our bad experience, we’ve only tried take out since.

First let me say, I LOVE Round Table Pizza! When I lived in Albuquerque, where they have no RT, I couldn’t wait to come back to the Bay Area for my fill of RT pizza! I was back in the area for the Christmas holidays when my girlfriend and I decided to order one delivered to my hotel. I was staying at the Crowne Plaza right around the corner so we figure there wouldn’t be an issue. We were told they couldn’t deliver «that night». Okay, we went to pick it up. While waiting, in walks the deliver guy! Hmmm, maybe he was calling it a night early. The girl at the counter asks «what color onion do you want? Never been asked this but oh well. Then asked, «do you want the anchovies warm or cold?» Again, never been asked this but told her warm. Little did we know, they didn’t put the anchovies on the pizza, they put them in a little cup and threw them in a bag with the crushed red peppers and Parm cheese! While we were waiting, they brought someone’s pizza and delivered it to the wrong table. Instead of searching out its rightful hungry owners, they stuck it in a warming bin. Twenty minutes later, they figured out who it belonged to and finally delivered it. This place is also quite a bit smaller than when they were in the shopping center.
As for the pizza, still love my Round Table, just didn’t care for the service at this place.

Ordered a large pizza for delivery on a sat night well in advanced cause I knew it would be a busy night. 6:45p was quoted an hour delivery time. No problem expected that. 8:45p rolled by and no pizza, no call, no contact, nothing! So I left and went got dinner from Kinder’s. While at kinder’s the delivery boy call’s and says, «yeah i’m here with a delivery.» I said, «i left to get food, waited 2 hours and didn’t hear anything from you guy.» All i got was a sorry.
Never ordering pizza from round table anymore. Looks like all the other local stores have just as bad reviews

The lady I talked to on the phone who took my order was so pleasant and nice. She honored our coupon and went out of her way to tell us the specials. HOWEVER, the delivery driver was extremely rude, knocked on the door repeatedly until we answered, even after we called out that we were coming then didn’t even say anything at the door. Handed the pizza, my bf gave him cash and he walked away. Didn’t ask if we wanted change or anything. Soooooo extremely rude, I know it’s close to closing time but come on, atleast say hello and have a nice night, anything!

The requirements for a job must not be very high here. After calling 5 times and getting hung up on each time they put me on hold they still couldn’t get the order correct, forgot the ranch so basically ordered a whole salad for nothing and when I called back about it she just acted like it was nothing they could do anymore. Like at the very least they could’ve refunded my salad or even offered something for the next time, (even though I’m visiting from out of town). The pizza wasn’t the best either and will probably end up with a stomach ache from uncooked pizza dough. In this case you don’t get what you pay for, I’ve had better service from pizza hut!

Dammit, I gave them another chance and wow they proved my point even more! This is the last time for sure!

I usually order from the Round Table on Oak Park and realized I should continue to. I ordered the West Coast Pizza and they didn’t put the balsamic glaze or provide the basil. Those are the two ingredients that distinguish this pizza from most of the others. When I called, their remedy was to have their delivery guy show up 25 minutes later with the missing ingredients to add to my cold pizza. Thanks a lot (rolling my eyes)…this was supposed to be my birthday pizza that I had been craving for weeks!

I would like to commend this Round Table and the manager Nash. I was called by round table with a special promotion for a large pizza for a good price, but I guess it was location based but being a good manager he still honored the promotion making me a happy returning customer. Also I would like to add they make great pizzas never to burned or under cooked. Good job guys!!!

The pizza is typical round table pizza — nothing more nothing less.
Customer service is hit or miss at this location … mooooostly miss…

Tried calling this evening around 6:30/6:40pm and a girl answered asking if I would mind being placed on hold. She didn’t wait for me to respond and immediately placed the call on hold. After waiting on hold for 7 minutes, the call was disconnected. I thought this was due to a poor connection, so I called back and again I was placed on hold. This time, I was disconnected immediately after being placed on hold. I tried calling a third time and again the call was disconnected — this time it wasn’t even answered. Whoever is the Manager/​Owner of this place should see who is working during these evening shifts since they are causing your site to lose business. After reading the Unilocal comments on here, it appears it’s not just a fluke, but a chronic issue. If you don’t make time to figure out what’s wrong and why nights are «slower», then you deserve what you get. Action item 1: fire the girl answering the phone. You’ll actually make money if you let her go.

Don’t call during the weekday. I called and I had a coupon, no expiration date and I just used another one off the same menu and the girl answering the phone kept telling me I was giving her the wrong coupon code and kept saying I was wrong. Then she wouldn’t give me the coupon deal. Ridiculous. Horrible customer service, there are no good pizza places around here. This area is begging for a NY pizzeria that sells extra large pies for under $ 20 with free delivery. That’s what it’s like in NY. California sux

Really not sure what was going on but I called this Round Table at about 8:43 the phone rang twice and it sounded like someone picked up and immediately hung up. I thought there could have been a connection error so I called back. The phone rang once and again immediately hung up. Called back rang three times this time and someone answered heard them breathing and they hung up. I could understand if there are technical difficulties but that’s better to say than nothing at all. Certainly won’t be coming back.

Is there an option for no stars? I joined Unilocal just to be able to write a review for this location of round table. I called for a large cheese pizza at 5:05 and was told 40 minutes. At 6:20 called and told them it’s been over an hour expecting to hear some confirmation that the pizza was going to be there within seconds instead all I got was we don’t know the driver is out. 7 minutes later I called and asked if they could make me another pizza and I go pick it il because this is terrible. I live about 5 minutes by car away and yes shouldn’t have been so lazy. They told me the driver was 5 minutes away and I apparently wasn’t going to be able to get a new pizza instead they made me wait another 10 minutes for the driver to come to the wrong house and then come here.
When i asked the driver if the pizza has been hanging out with him for two hours he said it came right out of the oven. It of course was room temp!!! Normally I tip actually always even if the sever is terrible in a restaurant but in this case I didn’t.I shouldn’t have even been charged for the pizza but instead of losing money on making me another pizza and saving a customer they didn’t and now have lost a loyal customer. I truly love pizza and would eat it every day if I could… Guess I won’t be going to round table anymore!!! Hope corporate reads these reviews because it should never take almost two hours for a pizza delivery!
Ps forgot to mention when I looked at my receipt they order wasn’t placed until 5:52 almost an hour after I called!

Salad bar is loaded with good fresh produce. They take good care of it and restock fast.
Pizza was weak in the pizza buffet. The heat lamp was cooking the pizza away. After 10 mins they put out some new pies.

They have moved over a block since that old shopping center is in the process of something (possibly being torn down?)…
The new location is smaller, but lighter and brighter!
The pizza and salad are still excellent!
I recently paid with a credit card for the first time and was charged a $ 4.00 surcharge. So, be aware of that.
