Don’t even bother to go anywhere near the kiosk next to Macy’s at the Stoneridge mall… they screwd up my eyebrows so bad that i have to draw my brows with an eyebrow pencil now… outrageously priced too… BLEH!!!

WOW I’m glad I didn’t actually get my brows done here. I was in a bind a few weeks ago and couldn’t get to my regular threading place before closing so I figured I’d give this place a try. I walked up proceeded to ask the guy working there, how much it cost for eyebrow threading. He asked me if I had a membership… WTF? A membership to get your brows threaded? I’ve never heard of such a thing. He quoted me $ 20.00 because I didn’t have a membership. TWENTY bucks!!! For eyebrow threading? This is where I walked away, thank god I did since I hear they butcher your face here =|

DONOT go to Eyebrow Plus or their partner kiosk, Glo Brow Bar. Not only do they have bad customer service but you may actually get hurt and cut getting your eyebrows done here(see my pics). I went to their partner kiosk, Glo Brow Bar and had Sara do my eyebrows. It hurt like hell to the point I was saying«Ouch» and big tears were coming down my eyes. You would think she would stop or say something since she was hurting me but instead she kept going. I thought I was just being a wimp, although I’ve had my brows done numerous times before and never had it be this painful. When she was done, she showed me the mirror and I had multiple cuts above my eyelids. It looked like cats had scratched me! I looked at her for some sort of reaction, but she said not one damn thing. I complained to her, «Look what you did to my eyes?! I’m bleeding!» and her only response was, «You probably didn’t hold your face tight enough.» I couldn’t believe she had the audacity to hand me a bill after that… not only did she have the nerve to say it was my fault but not once did she apologize. If she was any sort of professional, she should have corrected how she was holding my face and should have stopped after she had cut me once rather than continue on and on to cut me several more times. In pain and upset, I went to their main kiosk to speak to a manager who wasn’t available. Fortunately, the girl working there gave me Sara’s name plus the manager’s name, Lena, and her contact number. Lena gave me the impression she would«take care of me» and make up for this horrible experience but turns out she’s all phony and the best she could offer was a «discounted membership». Why in the world would I want to give them more money after that horrible experience?! After numerous calls, having her flake on me when I’ve asked to meet with her face to face and many text messages w/photos… I finally was able to get Lena to give me a free eyebrow session. When I came in to get it done, she wasn’t ready for me even though I called ahead to tell her I was coming.(Now I see where the horrible customer service comes from). When I came back, after she asked me to go shop around a bit, she still wasn’t available so I asked if someone else could help me. Her sister finally took care of me although I don’t think her attitude was necessary. After painful cuts that stung and scarred for for 4 days and 1 month of trying to get some sort of compensation, these people made me go through the wringer just to get a free eyebrow session that still wasn’t even that good. The whole time I dealt with everyone here I was nothing but reasonable and calm… although they really deserved b#*ch mode from me. This is the worst customer service and worst service I have ever experienced. I honestly hope this place shuts down because they should not be in business treating people like this.

It was a day before I had to go to an interview and noticed that I was growing a «jungle» above my eyes. So I made a quick stop at Aldo’s and was greeted by Lena to get a «sample» threading. I figured«why not?» If I didn’t like it, I could always just walk away. So I tried it and it wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be or as painful as waxing. Lena told me about their«membership» and I was hooked line and sinker. She told me that my «membership» entitled me to services at their Bayfair and Tracy location. I was sold even more! But tonight, I went to the Bayfair location and you can see my reviews on that. I was impressed by what Lena did for me, but only gave the Pleasanton location 3 stars because I can’t help but feel a little duped…

I think this place is hit-or-miss, but you can’t really expect consistent high-quality experiences out of a kiosk at the mall, can you? Naaaah. I, like most people, discovered Eyebrow Plus while I was meandering the mall. My eyebrows were feeling fuzzy and I was just too lazy to go home and do them myself, so I watched a woman get hers done and figured I’d give it a shot. The girl who initially threaded my eyebrows did a fantastic job; she shaped them beautifully, and even went through the trouble of trimming them. I left very happy, and for me, there wasn’t a huge difference in the level of pain involved with threading vs. plucking. Since then, I’ve had a couple of other girls who had done alright jobs. Not great(I’ve had to go home and fix a few stray hairs, etc.) but not bad. Every time I get the girl that did my brows first, though, I walk away a happy camper… she does a consistently good job. It’s weird having someone in your face. It’s weird having someone in your face in the middle of a crowded mall. It’s weird having someone in your face in the middle of a crowded mall with people staring at you… but you get what you pay for, and so this gets 3 stars. OK service, OK prices, OK results.

DONOTGETYOUREYEBROWSTHREADEDHERE! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for the last 8 years. I have experienced the best threader who returned to India and have since than tried to find someone who is adequate to her abilities. I have found a few that are ok, but since it has become more like a chain of booths it is difficult to find some where that maintains privacy and expertise. I decided to try the kiosk in the mall because I was desperate. 1. The associate had a runny nose and continued to sniffle above me 2. She got right in my face and coughed on me, didn’t turn her face, she coughed right in my face 3. She finished one eyebrow which was ok, I should have known when she cut the edge short that I should have walked away. 4. The other eyebrow — she BUTCHERED it. I HAVEHADREALLYNICEARCHEDMEDIUMTHICKEYEBROWS — ANDSHETURNEDMEINTO A THINEYEBROWCHICK — Sorry not to offend anyone, but it took me a long time to get my eyebrows where i wanted them. 5. She was ready to let me go like that. When I told her that one side was thinner than the other, she disagreed. I told her that was ridiculous and she needed to measure it if she wanted to. She looked at it again and said she would take one line off the other side(what a comforting thing to hear) I almost cried, it’s like when a stylist cuts your hair too short. exec pt to grow back my eyebrows now I have to go through weeks and weeks of embarrassing hair growth on my face and I can’t pluck anything. I wish I had Unilocaled this place before I went. FYI: A real — REAL threader who does it because they want to and have the talent usually costs $ 7 — If you go to a place where it is like a business it usually costs about $ 10 — Here at this lousy kiosk where they have concocted some crazy membership idea cost $ 15 for eyebrows — MAYBE more apparently.

I have not been impressed with this kiosk. I do not like the shape of my brows and it does hurt. I also feel there is the«would you like fries with that» mentality. I prefer to have my brows shaped in a salon.

Eyebrow Threading — Yes I think it does sort of hurt ad my eyes start to water but that happens to me when I wax my eyebrows too. And Yes, I still feel a little awkward about having someone all up in my face in the middle of the mall. If you go enough and get the membership its sort of worth it. So if you do get the membership(3 months for X amount of dollars depending on what kind of package you get) go as often as you want to get your monies worth. I will say it has helped me because I am a tweezer addict and I tweezed my eyebrows away and this has helped me sort of shape my eyebrows to become a little fuller. They offer a sample thread I guess you can say. Just try it out, but if you are sensitive to pain, I don’t know what to tell you…

I went to that place 4 times. The first time, the 2 girls called me as I was walking by. I only stopped because I saw«threading» and I had always wondered about this. They did a good job the 1st3 times even though they kept pushing for me to buy their membership. They just won’t give up and are more intereeted in selling you the membership than keeping customers happy. I went again yesterday, they had a new younger girl and«Oh My God»…I have never been in so much pain ever. She did my eyebrows and upper lip, I had tears coming out of my eyes. She kept saying«if you come more often it won’t hurt that much». And she went on again trying to sell her membership. I think it hurt so much because she was pulling the hair very slowly… she was either not experienced enough or she did it in purpose so I would come back every 2 weeks and buy her membership. I told her it was my 4th time there and it never hurt like this before… she went on again about saying«if you come every 2 weeks it won’t hurt so much anymore». I told her that the 1st2 girls that worked on me told me this would last at least 4 weeks and now they wanted me to come back every 2 weeks? I’d rather stick to waxing. I told her I was so much in pain there was no way I was ever coming back. I stayed bright red where she threated for hours. This is the worst experience ever.

Run. Run Away. Run Away Quickly! This is a new eyebrow threading kiosk inside the mall. The woman quoted my friend $ 20 then charged her $ 40. Apparently it was $ 20PER side of her face??? Huh??? My eyebrows are so butchered that its almost made me cry. My entire upper face was bright red. I don’t mean a little red, I mean tomato red to the point where people were asking what was wrong with me. It’s been 3 hours and my face still burns. I have naturally thick eyebrows. I asked just for a little shaping. What is left on my face right now is basically a pencil line sized brow. The two sides don’t match each other and both start WAY too far in on my face so there is a huge gap in the middle where my pretty brows used to be. When I told her I was unhappy she said that she liked what she did and tried to upsell me on other services. I responded«why would I let you butcher other parts of my face?» She replied«because they look bad». Even as I continually complained that she had not done what I asked her to do she kept trying to sell me more waxing! We immediately had to go to Sephora to get calming creams to take down some of the swelling and the people there helped me pick out some makeup to cover the big holes in my brows. Not only should you NEVER use this business. You should spit at them as you pass by. Seriously. It’s that bad!
