I really appreciated the service that I received on Wednesday from the young man who assisted me. Not only did he great me, but kindly took my order, mentioned that he was going to change his gloves, but washed them first and preceded to prepare my sandwich. This was a big change from the last time that I visited this location. The gentlemen touched his hat, rubbed his pants, and that was while I was standing there. Not once did he offer to take his gloves off before preceding to assist me and other customers. With e-coli and other stuff going around, you would have thought that he should have known better. Sadly to say, I threw the sandwich away once I got home. Restaurant etiquette 101, Always Wash Your Hands and Change Your Gloves!

Love the fresh cut meats, but staff needs to figure out how to process an order. They try making multiple sandwiches at once and the first, second people are held hostage while they make the third’s sandwich. After the meat was sliced the employee was assembling my sandwich and stops to ask the person behind me what she wants on hers. As my sandwich sits during that conversation. Then she passes my sandwich to the cashier to wrap. The cashier has to go wash her hands and put on gloves to wrap it. At that time the person cutting the meat comes over and said she would wrap it. Now I am waiting while this person held my sandwich in her hand(not just bagging so I can go) as she was helping the cashier ring up the customer behind me as their sandwich was still being finished! Finish mine so I can leave vs. waiting until the person behind me has her sandwich completed and paid and got her sandwich before I get mine! I now know why there was a line 5+ people deep at 2:30pm. Dublin was much more efficient focusing on the customer in front of them and completing it before moving onto the next vs. the assembly line technique(which isn’t really saving much time for them or the customers). Next time will keep driving and go to Dublin.

Tried this place a couple of times. Won’t go back. The food is straight nasty. Felt semi invisible to the staff there. Felt like I wasted my money the first time. Felt like I wasted my companies money the second time my boss treated us out. Better off going to Safeway across the street or even subway. And there is the only instance a sandwich spot can be worse than subway and this is it.

They rock this night crew. Every time I come in they great me, ask how I’m doing and make my 13 sandwhich better then the Danville crew. Heidi, Alicia, and David rock!!! And they stay open till 9pm so I will drive from Danville to Pleasanton for their sandwiches. Don’t get me wrong Danville pretty awesome as well!

Good sandwich and service. Recommend the meatball and the Italian.

The 2 stars is only for the staff that works there. I have been to this location probably around 32 times since March 2015. I work across the street and I LOVE the sandwiches. I think this review is finally warranted especially after today’s experience: Ordered online as I often do. I order pretty much the SAMEEXACT thing everytime I eat there. Sadly, EVERY time that I go to pick up my pre-ordered, paid for sandwich, I seem to stand at the counter for quite a while only to be ignored by the 5 or 6 people that are all working on the same sandwich(es) at the same time. So what is the point of pre ordering and paying? This has happened all times that I pre-ordered. I was not greeted, nobody said hello, the one young girl 2 feet in front of me at the register just looked at me and said nothing. So as her side was to me, I spoke up and said«I have an online order that’s paid for, can I get it?» I was told, «we’ll be right with you ma’am.» one other asked what my name was, so I told her. waiting… waiting. waiting while they made 3 other sandwiches. One girl putting meat on the bread asked me what I wanted on my #8. I told her I didn’t order a #8. She said, «yeah you did.» No, I didn’t. I ordered a #3. «Is your name Ashley(Allison– some ‘A’ name)?» No, it’s Nicole I said. They looked underneath all of the other sandwiches piled up on the back counter and there was my sandwich. Oh Finally! Thank you workers for your attentiveness, kindness and willingness to serve the customer. By the way– my order was VERY wrong: wrong bread, no xtra mayo like I had put in the notes online, and it was as dry as a bone. I couldn’t believe it. Hopefully the owner of this one will read this. You need to train your staff, get a more efficient set up or don’t offer pre-ordering.

Possibly my new favorite sammy place!!! I placed a large catering order and everyone including myself just loved them! Everything is very fresh and I especially love the little vinegar and oil squirt bottle you get with the catering orders! Cute and perfect. Tasty subs!!! And the customer service is outstanding. Thanks Corey and Heidi!

Tried the Italian(provolone, salami, capocoula, procuitto) on a soft bun with all the fancy add ons and a touch of the vinegar and oil makes it even that special. If you have never tried this spot before, it is definitely not the same as Subway or Togos. Come check this spot out!

I really enjoyed their Philly cheesesteak sub. Definitely order a hot sandwich; The bread is way better. I also love the cornmeal on the bottom. And unlike other sandwich chains that pre portion their meats, they have a deli slicer for fresh cuts of meat and cheese.

Not sure why this place is rated so high or maybe it’s just this location. But to me it is painfully bland and just meh. Way too pricy for what you get! Got the mini turkey and provolone on wheat mikes way. Nothing special about this sandwich at all, possibly there other sandwiches taste better so I will give them another shot. The bread was meh, the turkey was meh and the prov and other toppings were meh. I’m just spoiled by Ike’s, Togos and the sandwich spot in San Jose. Also Safeway makes a better sandwich too. To boot the customer service was subpar, they went around asking the caucasian people if they liked there food and skipped us brown folks. It didn’t bother me but just seems a bit suspect IMO. But it is Pleasanton so I’m not that surprised. I will update review when I go back and try a different sammie.

Best subs on the planet! Just like the originals back in Jersey! Great for lunch, dinner, snack, and especially sporting events and parties!!!

FINALLY! A sub place that actually puts MEAT on your sandwich. A bit pricey? Yes. A huge portion of tasty meat, cheese and bread? Yes! I love the concept of slicing the meat and cheese fresh per sandwich and actually using real bread — unlike whatever crap Subway is trying to pass as bread. Having thing’s Mike’s way(loaded with oil and spices) is definitely a good thing. I had the chance to eat here a few times recently and the subs were great. I really liked the quality of the ingredients, the size of the sandwiches, the taste, and the great customer service. I recommend the #5 and the #13. And I’ll definitely be back. Best true sub sandwiches in the Valley!!! Iced Tea Rating: N/a. Believe it or not, I took all the orders to go so I didn’t have a chance to try the tea!

First time I have been to a Jersey Mike’s Subs. The sub reminded me of the old east coast Italian Delis’ when I was growing up. The place is clean and has a ton of people working there. I ordered the #13 Original Italian reg. with all the fixings and a regular drink. $ 11.60. It had a vinegar and oil dressing with it which was good. Two TV’s on the walls and some tables outside. Next time I will try some of the other subs.

Super close to a Togos but a little better. The giant sandwich is a great size for sharing. The cheese is cut super thin but they do not skimp on Anything else.

It’s a franchise. It’s eons better than Subway for a quick sandwich but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here if it were inconvenient. Solid but unspectacular lunch choice.

The sandwiches really don’t stand out in any category… I’ve heard nothing but raving for this place — and maybe I’m just one of a million — but nothing held me. — Bread was super flakey and falling everywhere. — Part of the meat in my sandwich was almost bloody raw, I had to take it out. — I could have made two more sandwiches with how much lettuce they put in my one. The staff on the other hand was super friendly and very enjoyable to talk with. Just not feeling the food.

3 stars for the sandwiches. They are pretty solid and have a decent amount of meat and fresh vegetable matter. Nothing to go ape over, but worth a second try. An extra star for the staff. Very friendly and efficient. Give it a try!

Much like the Guidos on the Jersey Shore, I too have developed a routine… STL but it’s not what you think… S = Sub not gym but I should! Getting my sub at Jersey Mike’s knowing that it’s going to be the real deal T = Taste not tanning, again I should! This sub can’t be beat when you have it Mike’s Way(Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Wine Vinegar, Olive Oil, Oregano & Salt) or not. L = Lazy not Laundry, another thing on my to-do list! The sandwich will make you want to take an afternoon nap. You’ve been warned! The staff at this location are beyond pros each and every time I’ve been in. They ask all the pertinent questions and strike up great conversation as they masterfully build your dream sandwich. Among all the choices they have, I’ve indulged in the #8 Club Sub, #9 Club Supreme, #13 Original Italian & #18 Chicken Parm. All sandwiches were true to their name and because of that I keep coming back!

I’ve only been here once but it was a good experience and a nice alternative to the other sub shops around here! Now, I’ve been told that Jersey Mike’s is the closet thing I’ll experience to a real New Jersey sub out side of New Jersey, sans the bread! Guess I’ll have to venture to New Jersey just to find out but don’t let my curiosity stop you from darkening the door of this shop… it’s good. I had a steak sandwich with jalapeño peppers… it was very good! And worth the time and money I spent on it. I’ll have to return!
