Super Frank’s being closed is a huge bummer! I really hope they reopen soon at their new location. I thought where they were was already a great spot and no reason for moving. I’ll say this about Super Frank’s, it’s a great place for parents and kids. My issue with Chuck E Cheese is that I found them dirty and not age appropriate for toddlers. Super Frank’s covered a range of young ages and had amenities for parents. When my wife would be busy doing things and I have to be Mr. Mom, Super Frank’s was a great place for me. My daughter enjoyed all the rooms, especially the giant slide and fish tank room. We have gone multiple times and never come back with a cold. If my daughter was feeling ill, I wouldn’t bring her to Super Frank’s, but I know that’s not the case with other parents. Many times I have been there and seen parents bring their coughing, runny nose kids to the play areas. I know that their staff cleans the toys, as I’ve witnessed that many times, but when you have parents who don’t do their part, there’s a chance of your kid getting ill. I would say there’s no more of a greater chance of getting ill than by going to your local park or school classroom. When Super Frank’s reopens(fingers crossed!) I do have some suggestions — 1) Staff Members in every room. Kids are little a-holes, and chances are their parents are a-holes. It’s awkward to have to ask an a-hole parent to have their a-hole kid stop acting like a little a-hole when they are pushing and throwing things. Having a Staff Member there that you don’t have to find would make it easier and make me feel less like a tattletale. I’m sure this would make running this place more expensive, but I have seen Staff Members in the Safari room and I think the Fish Tank room seems to be a problem area. 2) Yearly/Monthly Passes to Purchase! Sometimes I’d like to go just for a little bit with the kids, but at 8 bucks a pop each time, it gets a little cost prohibitive if you want to go for a little bit. 3) A la carte Art Area. I know that Art Supplies can get expensive and messy, but it would be awesome if there was an area that you can send extra money to use where the kids can do art as well as run around. I hope Super Franks opens soon. Thanks for all the great times!

Be prepared for your child to have a hella good time! This place is very clean for a children’s play place. Every time i’ve gone i’ve seen an employee with a spray bottle wiping down the toys for the younger children. The arcade area is surprisingly clean. And the carpets are always clean too. I’ve been there like 10 times and my 3 year old has a blast. They have good seating for adults. I have a 6 month old I need to sit with and there are comfortable chairs for me to sit close by and watch my 3 year old play. The value is great, parents don’t pay just $ 8 per child. Love it. The food there is ehhh alright, the pizza is the best to order. The employees are nice. The dance party at noon rocks. If you’re a parent you should use your common sense an know there is a risk of your child getting sick anytime there playing with other children, especially a large group of other children. Please open up again Soon!!!

This place seems to be the place in the area to go to if you have kids or if you have friends with kids. They are multiple play areas with different set ups and a decent cafeteria to pick up pizza and such. They also have a room with a basketball hoop for kids but you find all the dads here missing shots. «Yo, you are not Steph, let the kids play»

This place is very clean. All these people that became sick at a birthday party have to wonder if maybe someone from that birthday party was already sick and passed it along. People are so money hungry and always pointing a finger. My kid didn’t get sick and we were there that day, and yesterday and 1 – 2 days a week prior. Super franks will be missed. Also they are closing by choice not for health issues!

Be prepared to take your child to the hospital. My daughter and I hosted a party here on Sunday 12⁄27. That Tuesday she began throwing up all over the place and I had to take her to the ER for treatment. That night, another mom called me and told me her kids were also throwing up and had fevers. After calling EVERYSINGLEPARENT who came, I learned EVERYSINGLECHILD who came got sick. Three out of 15 kids ended up in the hospital. It wasn’t the food, because everyone who ate did not get sick, but even kids who didn’t eat got sick. Rather, it was the lack of clean toys and a clean facility that caused this plague in my opinion. Of note, other parents had told me how dirty this place was but I dismissed their warnings. Had I known my daughter and her guests would have to go through this, I never would’ve given them my business. Complaints(plural) have been filled with the department of public health, and the BBB. It is my understanding they are, as a result, going to be under investigation. I’ve called and emailed super franks but no one has responded.

Not worth the drive from San Jose. They charge $ 8 for each kid and there’s not much to do. Lots of the arcade games are broken, the Aquarium area was shut down, and the Safari area’s slides weren’t supervised very well with kids sliding into each other. Went to redeem our tickets and all the shelves were empty, only little, cheap items to choose from. I’m sticking to the Chuck E Cheese off Tully from now on.

Fun place with not too bad food… Everybody in our party who played in jumpers got sick. Really sucks. Would have been a solid 4 stars, don’t think I’ll ever bring a toddler here again(nobody sleeps), maybe when kids are older. Sickness not worth the fun.

They only reason why iam giving this low rating is the management. A guys by the name of Tim Williams is so unprofessional and inappropriate. I have never met someone so rude and disrespectful. I have called the office 8 – 9 times to make a complaint about him but no one ever picks up the phone and it goes to voicemail, no matter what time of the day you call

How wild/active/crazy are your kids between 1 – 10? If you gave them 7+, add a star or two. If you gave them 3-, take down a star or two. The place can get quite wild over sat night. It all depends if your kids are up to it. I would give it a 4 star unless my wife got food poisoning from a sandwich. Tip: Stick to pizza.

Love this place. We’ve been taking my 3.5 yo daughter here for a couple years. The programs they have for the kids are super fun. She loves the dancing and songs with bubbles of course. Now that she’s getting older she’s started loving the zip line. Now our 1.5yo son is getting into the action and enjoying it all too. It’s a great place to let the kids loose in a safe confined space. The food is surprisingly good. We love the hummus and vegetable platter. They have pretty good chicken strips(more chicken than bread and moist). Pizza and salads are good too. Plus they serve beer and wine for the adults! We’ve also attended birthday parties here. It’s a nice place and you get your own private music circle and dancing with bubbles and Franky the dog. My daughter loves Franky and has been know to run up and hug him and grab his tail. The poor person in the suit can barely see where all the munchkins are and has to be escorted through the throngs of fans, but they do a great job of it.

Love superfranks! I hear they are moving by the beginning of 2016 and I for one hope they stay local(or maybe move to livermore or dublin?) I’ve been taking my little one here at least once a month since the beginning of this year. She recently turned 2 and loves all the activities — from«ziplining» in the mini gym, to climbing and sliding down the big bouncy slide in the safari room, to the«flashlight safari», «music circle», craft time and especially she loves the dance party where«super frank» usually comes out(think chuck-e-cheese except a dog instead of a mouse”) so much to do and many rooms to explore packed w activities and only for 8 bucks per kid. The food is good and fairly priced too! Great place for kids 7 and under!

My family and I love Super Franks we have been coming for almost a year now. It’s a wonderful place where we can let our son run around in a clean and safe environment and make new friends. They have the best activities and a wonderful engaging staff that really play into the children’s imaginations. In addition the different themed rooms really create an experience that can cater to any child’s imagination.

One of my favorite places to take the kids. Not just great for them but also great for us. Fun for 1:1 time with kiddos, family date night(we eat together, kids play and the adults get to eat/talk while they’re entertained), or nights to meet up with other families! It’s my go-to-recommendation for moms who are expecting their second child. Mom can SIT for once while the older child plays(in a safe, contained room) and food is brought to the same room. If the kid gets bored, Mom/baby can just relocate to another room. Prices are reasonable, NOT like other places that charge an arm and a leg simply for admission. I’m happy to spend money here on food and games since you get what you pay for. I can’t wait to see what they do with their new space when they move. Selfishly I really hope they move closer to me(further north on 680). We hosted our daughter’s birthday party there and it was excellent. Kids were happy, adults were able to relax/mingle, and the food was great too. We’ve also been to a princess party here and it was really great. I’m not very into ‘girly parties’(trying to keep our girls interested in more gender-neutral territory) but I was happy with how they did it. It wasn’t just dress up. Seriously delicious pizza, big hummus platters with fresh veggies, etc. We see many of the same staff members over and over again… makes me think they have pretty decent staff loyalty though I’ve never asked. The place is kept clean, service is always friendly, and we always have a good time.

Price can’t be beat $ 8 per child includes 2 adults extra adults $ 2. Arcades for older kids. Yay and for my little one: Different themes rooms for 5 and under kids totally enclosed so they can’t escape! Foam pits, bouncy jumpers, play houses, toy cars and toddler bikes and push toys to ride. For parents: Leather chairs for parents, tables for parties picnic or eat what you buy here! Coffee sold here! Rumor there is wine? So glad we found this place.

Compared to other kids activity places of in the Bay Area, this is one of the kids’ favorites. They keep the facility relatively clean and there is plenty to keep your little one plenty occupied while you enjoy their comfy seats and wifi. They have 5 separate play/acivity areas along with a gaming area. The only thing is that some of the play areas close earlier than the others and can be closed due to party RSVPs so make sure you are aware of this. The food is surprisingly good as well! They have an impressive selection of foods appropriate for kids and adults(beer even, score!). Just keep in mind, this is a kids activity zone, so dont expect gourmet dining. Even so, for me the menu is probably better than just about all other comparable kids places I’ve been to in the Bay Area. Staff is friendly and they keep the kids busy at different times of the day with special hosted activities(safari hunt, dance party, sing a longs etc…). My daughter still loves this place, but you will find that most kids will grow out of this place by around 7−8ish. Parking is easy, but can get crowded during the weekends.

Meh. Came here for a birthday party and the room was very hot(and no water available). Staff was unfriendly, not just to the parents but to some of the older kid guests too. But the main reason I’m reviewing this and giving the two stars is because some of the equipment in the back party room we were in was broken — and that’s just plain unsafe.

My daughter was invited of a Princess birthday party that was celebrated over the Super Franks Fun Adventure. I was really cool that they had a Majestic Princess Party room. The front of the room is adorned by a huge castle façade, with a Princess’ chair right in the middle. At the back of the façade is dress room like place where little girls can change into a princess costume.(And yes, it was readily available) my daughter changed into Princes Sofia. Furniture, and china were also present for a wonderful, proper princess tea room party! As expected, food was mediocre but it wasn’t all too bad. Everybody had fun, more importantly, my daughter had fun. Super Franks Fun Adventure is huge, I would come back and let my daughter have more fun.

Place is nicely laid out and super clean. Lots and lots of rooms for the younger kids to play in and a great arcade area for the older ones(plus some older activities in the mini-gym). Free wi-fi. We didn’t try the food but the café did look nicer than average. But since my husband came here last, they’ve changed the admittance policy so that the arcade is completely separate from the admission price. Before, you could pay for an arcade only wristband which would have been great for my 8 year old. As it was, we had to pay extra for him to play in the arcade and he didn’t even go into any of the play rooms. Not only that, but I highly recommend you don’t come on Saturday(and maybe Sunday). Their whole business appears to be birthday parties. They have a ton of rooms, but my daughter was only able to use two as the rest were closed off for private parties. Icing on the cake was when they closed off the mini-gym. We had only been there 40 minutes. Pretty much a waste of money for us. I would only ever come here for a birthday party. Or if I didn’t work, I would take my daughter here during the week. Otherwise, no.

I felt bad for neglecting my kid and using Peppa the Pig as a virtual babysitter. So I decided to take her to Super Franks, and I’ve been wanting to check this place out anyway. This was my first time … Walking in is a bit underwhelming. We got here when a bunch of parties were going on, so we couldn’t get in to a lot of places at first. But when we did it was pretty cool. By far, her fave was the fish tank. Its basically a huge black lit room with a foam pit and a jumping castle in it. There is also an outdoor room, but was too cold to go to. One observation was the huge number of employees that are about 20 years old and under. Its fine, but on this visit I see a lot of them chit chatting with their backs to the slide(which presumably they were supposed to be monitoring). In the fish tank I saw a young employee sitting in the corner on her phone when her superviser came and gave her a warning for being on the phone. Maybe one suggestion is to have cubby holes in each room so that the kids can put their shoes in. Overall a fun place to bring your kids. And at $ 8 per kid with two adults, its also a great value in this overpriced bay area.
