We stayed at the Penniman Bed & Breakfast and had such a nice time. The tower room which had been added on in the past 5 years had a hot tub in the actual tower right off the main room. How fun is that! Carrie and her husband have remodeled this lovely old victorian beautifully with loving authenticity at every turn while containing modern comforts. The bed was big and comfortable and the room certainly encouraged a romantic evening with a nice fireplace. You have to love the location, ½ block from old town Plymouth, and a stones throw away from a local coffee shop and other assorted bars and restaurants. We were there in November so the weather was chilly, but I could see how the closed in porch would be super relaxing and fun in the summer and spring months. If I was to have one complaint, the price felt a little steep for economy and the location in Michigan. I’d stay there again without any question, but I’d ask for a lower cost room in the main house. The innkeepers were very proud of all their work and happy to show us around.
