Fast + friendly service and good sandwiches to top it off! They artfully carve out the middle portion of the bread, which is great for soup dipping. My only change would be to implement a system of shaving meats to order — perhaps you could give customers an option of thick or thin sliced meats.

Two little pieces of deli meat and no cheese on a 8 inch sub… I won’t be back for that!

I am AMAZED at how picky some people can be! They showed up like 19 mins after I placed an order for a family of FOUR, the sandwiches are amazing, the service was great, and I LOVE the peanut butter bar!!! :) Thank you Erbert and Gerbert :)

I used to love Erbert and Gerbert’s Jacob Bluefinger(vegetarian) sub, but found my most recent one to be more bread than ingredients. No more sprouts? For my money, I prefer Jimmy John’s #6(vegetarian).

Erbert’s is a solid place to grab a sub. My go-to is always the Flash, with it’s delicious Italian meats and Oil & Vinegar dressing. The bread is always fresh and I love the fact that they take out the«guts» to accommodate the toppings; nothing worse than eating a sandwich that is all bread. Erbert’s may be more expensive than Subway, but it’s well worth it as the ingredients are fresher and of a higher quality. The staff at this location are friendly, and always seem to easily keep up with the lunch rush. I’ve never had to wait any longer than a few minutes, even during the craziest lunch rushes.

We order lunch daily at my office during busy season(accountants), so we like to have a variety of places to choose from. Our location in Golden Valley gives us great options. Erbert & Gerbert’s is about 5 – 6 minutes from the office. The delivery has always been very slow, more than an hour on 4 sandwiches but we enjoy them so we have always kept that in mind while ordering. Though it does not excuse the slowness, we have just accepted it. Today I placed an online order with the Plymouth location just before 10:30am and set up delivery for 11:05. By 11:45 we had not heard or seen from E & G’s, I called to find that the manager needed to call the«computer guy» to see where my order was rather than just taking my order and dealing with the error later. He said he would call be right back. I waited 10 minutes and called them back to cancel. They offered compensation for my problem but at this point I don’t want anything from this company. I have removed them from our ordering and would not recommend using their delivery or online services. You want a sammy that bad go in or somewhere else.

Yes the price is a bit higher than at Subway. But look at what that extra few cents gets you — better quality bread, substantially more meat and bang/flavor! E&G got me in here with their 25th anniversary deal with sandies at $ 2.25 and $ 3.25 today only until 3pm, but they have a good product so it will not be my last visit. The guy at the register did not appear to be the brightest but he got the order right and the rest of the crew served it up quickly.

Stopped in while waiting to get a massage nearby. The guys who work there are friendly but the food is total crap. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and got a loaf of bread with a paper thin sheet of meat in the middle. The tomatoes were sliced more thinly than I thought was possible. Absolutely no lettuce and mayo sporadically applied. C’mon people. You can get a much better sandwich at Jimmy Johns for less money.

This it’s a cold sandwich place — what makes it good is the fresh soft bread, the fresh toppings, and the nice staff(I gave them a complement once and got a free cookie in my bag). The bread taken out of the middle and served on top of the sandwich makes it easier to avoid eating a bread sandwich with bread(bonus). Would give give stars if they upped the anti with meat(e.g., boar’s head). Although I have never had their catered food, they seem to do a lot of it based on all of the food going out the door too. Oh… and they deliver too. Win. This is not craveable(it is sandwiches and soups, people!), but I would go out of my way to avoid places like Subway to eat here.
