One of my favorite places — just found out it’s closed and is for sale. :(

I enjoyed this restaurant. I had the baked ziti. The sauce was great. I enjoyed the garlic bread they gave you. It is great to seat outside during the summer. The service was great.

Hidden gem! Had a groupon that I forgot to use and it was a gorgeous fall evening so took a ride on the parkways to check this place out. Despite some so so reviews I was pleasantly surprised! Arrived at 5:00 on a Saturday and the place was empty, the staffe was very friendly and the bartender made an awesome«French kiss» martini. Next came some delicious garlic bread and our waiter was so cool(even changed the channel for my hubby). Ordered the appetizer special if fried zukes which were nice and crispy followed by the fettuccine pork special while hubby had his usual chicken parm. I requested al dente and it came perfectly cooked. Delicious! I recommend this old school place for those who are not looking for champagne and chandeliers but know a good meal when they find one!

Pizza is never consistent. When ordering«pizza by the slice» it pretty much a guarantee the slice will be burnt to a crisp in their tiny pizza oven behind cashier. The young cashiers/pizza warmers seem like they have zero training. No fault of theirs, management is obvious to blame for lack of training and quality control.

My sons favorite spot in point lookout! Love the dinner bread! Great food and service! Ask for Lindsay the waitress she’s the best — would recommend you try anything on the menu, it’s all fantastic !!

We normally order pizza from East End in LB. Because of the fireworks they were so busy they couldn’t even answer their phone so we had to order from Olive Oils We haven’t been to OO’s in years even though we live in town because of previous awful food. Things have not changed, at least for pizza The pizza was a mass of doughy crust with nasty tasting sauce, minimal cheese and toppings.

It is a shame living in Point Lookout and not being able to get good pizza from Olive Oils consistently. It is so hit or miss. The last 2 – 3 times the pizza was burnt on the bottom and seemed to be reheated. We order it with sesame seeds on crust, in the hopes they made a fresh pie but no such luck ~ burnt, dried out and not a pie that should be sold. I always try to support local businesses and restaurants but am done with Olive Oils.

Wow! This is quite honestly one of the worst restaurants on Long Island! The waitstaff was fabulous. Very family oriented. But then the food comes out and everything takes a nose dive. I ordered angel, hair pasta with lobster. Hmm, this is a restaurant a block from the water. Should be fresh right? Nope! I’m almost positive it wasn’t even real lobster. I couldn’t even eat it be I was afraid I would get sick. My husband ordered a prosciutto panini. He said it was so dry it was hard to get down, and the prosciutto was old and rubbery. After talking to a friend who is a local of Point Lookout, she said it is well known that you do NOT eat there. I can’t imagine that this place will be in business much longer unless they fire the chef and get someone back there that actually knows how to cook.

Went to a birthday party that was catered by Olive Oil’s. Had the Penne ala Vodka and Chicken Franciese, the food was amazing! So good, I had seconds! Looking forward to visiting and trying out the rest of the menu!

Went to Olive Oils on Friday night and was very pleasantly surpised. What used to be standerd pizzeria fare has been kicked up with new décor, and though the menu still has your Italian basics, There were some great specials. My wife and i split a ahi tuna salad which was main course sized and i had a sensational piece of striped bass with a delicious crab cake topping. Great pricing too! I can’t wait to go back and sit at an outdoor table on a nice summer night

Ugh. Hate lowering my rating. But living in Point Lookout for the past several months has given me numerous occasions to order from Olive Oils. Everyone that works there is SO nice. But the food just isn’t good. At least the day to day stuff. The pizza is rediculously thick. Too much cheese. Sauce is iffy. Ordered chicken parm, had a decent size bone in my sandwich and it just didn’t taste good. I’m not the type to throw food out, but this I trashed. I so wish they were better. The neighborhood needs a good«go-to» take out. I’m hopeful…

I don’t order much from olive oils but when I do I always got the eggplant parm hero. It was thinly sliced, fried and delicious. I ordered one recently and it was different from what I was used to. Not much flavor and messy. Follow up. I ordered a specialty pizza. It was very good with all fresh ingredients. The arugula Salad was also very tasty with toasted almonds, cranberries and goat cheese.

Very disappointed. Had eaten there in the past and the food was good, but they must have a changed cooks at some point because the chicken dish I ordered today was horrible. Very chewy and flavorless. Will never order from there again.

Ordered a pizza with thin crust, extra crispy. When I got home it wasn’t thin or crispy. When I called they said the manager would call me about a credit or new pie. Still waiting. Poor food and no integrity — should be avoided

Wow, such a pleasant change. Excellent Pizza. Friendly staff. Very flexible even with a fussy vegan eater.

Cute place with a nice patio near the water. It’s a shame about the extremely poor service — they should just close on Sundays, as it’s seems the entire staff is over-tired, hungover, or just unmotivated.

Food is good but it’s really dirty. Went inn for a slice had to clean a table to sit. They should do something about that. Is very very dirty

good food, bad service. Children running amok… got hit with a skateboard waiting for our take-out! been there before & liked it, although service was an issue then as well.

Very disappointing! I had a house salad, mostly salad greens with lots of raw mushrooms and onions(gross!!!) — the salad had no flavor or taste whatsoever, the dressing stunk, very oil soaked garlic knots with not much garlic taste, I had a Cabernet that was totally flat and I couldn’t even finish it; my boyfriend had East Marina Panini which had absolutely no flavor, just lettuce, chicken and sundried tomatoes. He said it was dry and flavorless. I had a slice of pizza that was ok, but the bottom line is nothing had any flavor. Whoever is doing the cooking is no good at it!!! My boyfriend left half of his panini behind and I barely ate several bites of my salad. Maybe the pastas and meatballs are better, but I would recommend Jo Jo Apples down the block, Gino’s pizzeria or Lola’s, both in Long Beach.
