This is no reference to the night club since I am beyond the age of going there. This is more for Jenks overall. *Go here off peak. It’s open year round and you can enjoy the boardwalk/restaurant with elbow room. *Small bar in the middle to get a quick beer/drink. Only downside is it’s a plastic cup and it’s $ 6 for Sam… booo. *Bathrooms are so key and they are relatively clean. *Didn’t really try the food since we went elsewhere. *Staff is normal.

I went here with a few friends for drinks and some food. The drinks were made pretty well. The food was just OK. My buddy got the hamburger and I got the buffalo calamari. The buffalo calamari was cooked well and tasted great. The hamburger on the other hand was like eating a hockey puck. I couldn’t even swallow my bite(of my buddy’s). I would try more if I ever go back.

Went to Jenks for the first time for lunch/drinks. Overall, the experience was lackluster as the food was overpriced and our waitress might have been the most miserable employee in that establishment. We requested a table for 8 but were still waiting for 3 people to arrive. Regardless, they seated us even though we were perfectly content with waiting for the rest our party at the bar. Once seated, our waitress(named Quinn per the bill) constantly badgered us, demanding status updates on when our friends were going to arrive. She claimed her manager was getting impatient and we had to order entrées ASAP or else we would have to forfeit our table. If this was going to be an issue, why did you seat us in the first place?! Keep in mind the place was not even busy — there were plenty of empty tables and no «line out the door.» Food was mediocre at best. I ordered the twin lobster rolls which are advertised with having large chunks of lobster. In actuality, the rolls come with ground bits of lobster with an imitation crab taste. It’s pathetic and has no resemblance to the picture in the menu. Plus it’s $ 17. Save your money, folks. The food and our perceived mistreatment left us with a sour taste in our mouths and, needless to say, we do not plan to go back, ever. I recommend avoiding this place — Tiki Bar is a better choice in my opinion.

Drinks are reasonably priced, decent mix of fist pumping music, 21 and over but the crowd seemed barely over 25, several bars, outdoor seating overlooking the beach, DJ very much in tune with his audience, long line to get in but it moves pretty fast, come here for everything but a mixed crowd.

This place is a dump. The floor is dirty as hell, the drinks are extremely overpriced, and the cover is insane for what they have to offer inside. The bands that play are like D grade cover bands you find on MySpace and the people who frequent it are of the same quality; just plain bad. I can’t say I didn’t have fun here at 21 but once the haze of drinking lifted I realized how bad this place really is. 2 stars for the nice bartender. 1 star for literally EVERYTHING else.

This place is not a glamorous or extravagant but it sure is a lot of fun. I was pretty deceived by the size of the location from the outside thinking it would be dingy and small but it’s pretty spacious and with a lovely outside area towards the beach. There’s definitely a lot of fist pumpers and fist pumping music and the drinks were moderate price but strong. I liked that for the most part people just let loose and spend the night dancing.

Probably one of the worst bars on the boardwalk. There was more security guards than customers and they were extremely rude. I’m upset I have to stay here the rest of the night for my friends party. Will not return.

BEAUTIFUL view with reasonably priced food. The lobster quesadilla was amazing. However our waitress was rude and very short with us. Also didn’t being soy sauce or chop sticks with the sushi till asked and finally received them after my bf already finished eating. The view is the real draw to this restaurant. Also loved the Virgin piña colada. It’s served in a pineapple

Great place. Young crowd now! It was better when they had bands. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Many bars and very nice staff.

My linguini with clams was superb! Don’t know why Unilocal says it’s closed today. It’s Labor Day Monday and it’s open. Lol. Seating is available near the ocean. It’s amazing to eat here during the day. It’s not just a night time spot. Love this!

Nice location. They have a private area on the beach to have drinks and hang out which is cool. Service was good the folks where very helpful. The food prices are a bit high but it is the boardwalk so I guess in shouldn’t be surprised. I will be back.

Jenks is as quintessential of a Jersey shore bar as they come. It’s not AS crazy as portrayed on reality TV but it is pretty close. People are dressed to impress and there’s tons of debauchery. I recently went to Jenks on a Friday night for a bachelorette party. Our group of 10 or so rolled up around 11:15 and we were able to get in relatively quickly. On this late June night, the cover was $ 10 a person. That night a DJ was spinning although Jenks is also known for having cover bands perform. I can’t remember the music specifically, but it was good for dancing. We danced, we drank, we conquered. As I had pre-gamed fairly heavily, I didn’t buy myself any beverages, however guys certainly loved buying shots for our large group of girls. If I had less to drink, I might not have been able to tolerate some of the customers and the scene. If you have any hesitations about either, I’d recommend drinking a lot and leaving your car keys at home.

My boyfriend and I came here on Sunday afternoon… ONLYBECAUSE the Tiki Bar had security at every exit/entrance. The heightened 50 made me feel like I couldnt have fun… COPS make me nervous. Anyway I ordered one drink… I gave the bartender a 20… I got back 7 dollars!!! I bought a 13 $$ drink WTBEEP?! Am I old? When did a vodka and soda cost this much? Wow! I must be out of the loop now a days. I could have bought a small bottle of Pinnacle and a bottle of soda for 20 and some change. Well good thing I drank at home first… Whoa never going to go out again… too expensive. Other than that it was nice to walk around without the kids complaining or begging me for toys or to play games or ice cream… We will only go out when there are drink specials. SERIOUSLYLOL :)

We had a fun night here celebrating my sister’s bachlorette party, on 9÷14÷13. They had some really good drink specials(probably because it was the off season) and our bartender, Zack was great! He was fun and efficient and he had an awesome beard! The DJ was really good too and he did a good job keeping the crowd engaged. The lady cleaning the bathroom was also a very hard worker and she kept it sparkling. My only complaint would be the security team, I guess they are used to dealing with jerky guidos, but they were terrible. My sister asked one to take a picture with her for a scavenger hunt and he very rudely told her No! At one point in the night I took a bottle of water out of my purse to hydrate a little bit and security threatened to kick me out! Not cool. Fine, I get you are worried about people sneaking in alcohol but after I explained it was water you could have just taken it away without being a super douche about it. Overall we had a fun time and I would go again!

Jenks Night Club really needs to decide what kind of «club» they would like to be. The band(whom I love) rocked the place but was followed by a techno /electronic DJ. It was a strange mix of music and an even stranger mix of people. People were not very considerate when moving through the crowd.

If you don’t mind partying with the cast of the Jersey Shore, along with assorted guidos and guidettes that occupy this part of the Garden State, check your brain at the door and then you will have a great time dancing the night away at Jenks to a good mix of rock, pop, hip hop, and house music. We usually make a few weekend summer getaways to Point Pleasant Beach and always look forward to spending a few nights here. The club is spacious, the mixed crowd is actually pretty chill, and the drinks are really cheap. Usually there is always some sort of beer and drink specials going on Fri and Sat nights. Even the bartenders are pretty nice. If hungry they run the dining area adjacent to the club with in and out privileges that is open until late. Open during the day too with great views of the beach/ocean and there are flat screens all around to catch a game. Some of the best times we have had here are when they feature cover bands such as The Nerds, Big Orange Cone, and The Benjamins. All these bands are really fun and the place is a big party when they perform. From what I have read there was big damage from hurricane Sandy but they have done a great job rebuilding the boardwalk and reopening Jenks. So we can’t wait to possibly head down there this summer to take in a few weekends and party. We’ve always had a great time here. What’s not to like? It’s right on the beach, music is great, people there are nice, food is close, and the drinks are cheap. Just don’t expect an overpriced pretentious Manhattan type club which is all for the better anyway.

REVIEW for OCEANSIDEDININGRM: so Jenks which is always clean and nice seems to have spruced up again — looks great — with a new menu full of extra fresh offerings like locally caught NJ fish, fresh-baked sourdough bread, and Jersey picked corn & tomatoes. Dining Oceanside with live music on an early June evening is always nice but what made it extra special was that tonight, Perky Penguin(the Jenks aquarium mascot) made an appearance. He spent lots of time with my toddler both at the table and on the dance floor. It was awesome. Local grouper with a nice, chunky puttanesca sauce was delicious and a huge portion! Hubby’s seafood pot pie was fresh. Bro-in-law’s steak slightly over cooked. White sangria was carbonated(?) and very peachy but still pretty good. Fun!
