A good scenic place to visit in point pleasant. However, It is a lot windy due to the open space on the top and the side windows. Most of the time, the food baskets and drink glasses spill down due to the breeze. Food and drinks were average.

this bar is very spacious and has fun décor to add a summer vibe. however, the $ 10 cover is BS and the amount of ID verification required to get in is also ridiculous. there is also definitely an older crowd at night, probably because of the cover band. given the limited options on the point pleasant boardwalk, this is a solid choice

Came here on a Monday with one of my girlfriends, she wanted to come here so we can get tanned and have drinks. It was a 10 $ cover(which is the same cost as the beach) and you go through quite a bit of security, which is super intense. We got there around 11AM, and it was a good amount of people. We both got our drinks and headed to the sand. And say about 1 – 2 hours later, it was packed with a ton of people. However, they were drunk and quite obnoxious. So we took a break and headed to grab some food. We decided to stay inside of Tiki cause we were too lazy to walk, we both got burgers. Surprisingly were delicious, super juicy. It came with baked potato chips instead of french fries, which I liked. There was also a live band there, they played a ton of country music, which was another plus. Overall, it was a good day minus the endless drunk people.

If you like bars that feel like a prison, this place is for you. Has the potential to be one of the best bars ever, but the 100 security guards constantly standing around monitoring your group, checking ID’s, making you feel uncomfortable and like you’re being watched at all times. it’s like a 9-step ID checking process just to get in. This place needs to change their ways– Our group got snapped at about everything. Spend your money somewhere else.

Great live music but everything else was awful. Staff, security, and bartenders were rude and unfriendly. Everyone had big frowns on their faces like they didn’t want to be there minus one waitress who is very bubbly and friendly. The food was overcooked and cheap presentation. Served snow crab legs with tiny Styrofoam plates to eat on! I used to come here in my 20s when I rented a house in point Pleasant. I always enjoyed coming here on a Sunday for the live bands. I guess back then I wasn’t so concerned with the food or the service. Rude people, bad food! The attitude here reflects the world’s stereotypes of Jersey people.

Went there Sunday to see dr. Chico haven’t been there in a while but the same good music. We had some oysters which were excellent. And a couple beers. my wife had her Jack and Ginger. WARNING! There is very little alcohol in their drinks. My wife went up to the bartender twice and he says he has to put less than one shot and to each glass cuz he’s being monitored with cameras. Don’t waste your money on mixed drinks there have a beer or wine

They rob you of your money. 7 bucks to substitute potatoe chips for French fries. Are you serious?

Nice place, crowded. Worst bartenders and security. Bartender just ignores you even when it’s not busy. Security looks like is gonna kill you if you breathe Mix are worts ever. Not even a drop of alcohol in it. Just juice but still over 8 dollars… Many better places down the shore worth for that extra miles

Went there for drinks for a friend’s birthday. It’s off season still so it wasn’t insane, we could have sat anywhere but we chose the fresh orange juice bar near the front. The bartender Chris was AWESOME. Funny, engaging, attentive. His drinks were spot on, not too strong and definitely not weak which was a huge plus since a lot of these summer places seem to make crappy drinks. We ended up ordering food and let me tell you, of all the places in NJ that I’ve had seafood in THIS was the best. Birthday girl ordered the blackened chicken salad. The dressing was to die for. She also ordered mozzarella sticks and those came out fresh, hot, melt in your mouth delicious fatness cause… you know… fried cheese. My friend and I ordered some platter thingy with lobster, shrimp, raw clams and oysters. First … that cocktail sauce. Awesome. Freshest seafood evah. Coconutty shcrimps, yummo. No 5 star cause with the volume these people do they could afford not to be greedy and serve drinks as expensively as they do. No extra star for you!

It’s the tiki bar you come here for drinks and atmosphere. It’s the Jersey shore it’s just a place to hang out and get your drink on.

Awesome atmosphere, but very pricey drinks. If you’re from new Jersey you need to experience the tiki bar at least once.

My family and I went to the Jersey Shore to remember the old times — 5 of us went to the Tiki Bar because another family member suggested it. We stopped there first and had a round of drinks before we went down the board walk — $ 70 plus dollars(which was with a nice tip) and off we went. We came back so I could grab a sandwich and we all could get another round. MY drink was unbearable(Margarita) I asked if they could try and fix it — I would even be willing to pay for an extra shot… well did they ever charge me — $ 6.95 for the shot on top of a overpriced crap drink that remained way to sweet to consume. My father-in-law over heard the same bartenders I complained to, bitching about the mistakes the guy that made my drinks kept making… They knew I was right, but they didn’t acknowledge my concern. Then to make things worse they brought me the wrong meal — I told them about it and the one bartender acted surprised and then simply laughed it off — I told him agin I wasn’t happy with it and again, and my complaint was blown off. The girl that took my order came around(who I ordered the sandwich and Margarita drink from) and she asked how I liked the meal — I told her I didn’t because it was wrong and once again nothing was done. They rang my check up and I asked if they took care of the sandwich and they said no(as if they forgot). They told me they had to get a manager to make the adjustment and they credited me 2 dollars for the difference in cost of the sandwich which I ordered and the one I got. WOW! So this wasn’t simply just the servers’ decision — but management’s. HORRIBLE! I spent over $ 130 in about an hour total of being there — brought my issues to their attention and they did nothing. We will never return and I suggest you don’t either. Give your business to a company who cares about their customers a bit more than these fools.

Came here the last two years during my family’s yearly trip to the Shore. Once on a weekday afternoon for lunch with the family, once on a Saturday afternoon for happy hour/dinner. The food is good, but you know you’re coming for the view. The location is right on the water, and the deck is big enough that despite the loud music when you first walk in, you have other seating options. Both times I came we sat on the lower deck and had a great time. The tables are bolted to the floor, so don’t expect to be able to move them around at all. The service is hit or miss, but the drinks are pretty cheap, and I always appreciate cheap alcohol. I had a burger. No frills, just what you need. I also split the quesadilla, which humorously comes with a packet of Tostito’s salsa. I guess if you can’t make your own, go with what works, eh? The tiki bar is a yearly tradition.

My sister really only had one wish for while she was visiting in town: «Can we go to Martell’s in Point Pleasant?» It sounds like an odd request but my family used to always go to this beach when we were really little kids and Dad would take us to Martell’s. It was when I found out that I loved jalapeño poppers and if I had the option to drink chocolate milk and deep fried jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese all day long and not be a powder-puff pre-K I totally would. I probably did anyway. Dad would sit back and have a drink of most likely scotch and we would all act obnoxious and stuff our faces and ask if we could go on the amusement park rides. Memories! 25 years later we decided to come back and sadly it is totally not the same Martell’s. Though, we did come on a Fourth of July, I was just never expecting in a million years that there would be a $ 20 cover to put your feet anywhere near sand and have to order on top of that an additional average charge of $ 10 – 15 per drink. We stuck to sitting inside and got our $ 15 disgustingly sugary pina coladas, but it was not the same. We also sprung for sampling some of the indoor restaurant’s food menu. Really not great. Everything tasted like it was pre-frozen. Even the French fries were horrible and tasted like they were microwaved out of an Ore-Ida bag. I ordered the pork roll because I was intrigued and fascinated and had never ordered this New Jersey staple. Basically it was pan-fried bologna on a roll with melted cheese. Not my thing and I don’t know if this gets better but I’ll probably never order it again. My sister got a burger which was equally wretched. It tasted again like a frozen pattie and the mushrooms on it legit came out of a can. What the hell. Such a waste of money. I enjoyed the nostalgia for what the restaurant and bar represent in Point Pleasant but honestly if I were to ever come down here again I would take a picture and walk away.

Not a bad bar, definitely has the whole shore vibe. The drinks are a little pricey but not terrible and if you tip well you get strong drinks. I had a peach piña colada that was delicious along with a Kahlua drink too. They were both fruity and delicious. The bar has awesome views of the the beach and during the day you can sit on the beach and drink. A fun change of pace, but not a place I would always hang out at.

It’s in the heart of the touristy area of Jersey shore so it is what it is. The food was average, the drinks were ok but it’s a great place for relaxing in the sun and people watching. They have their own beach area, which is $ 8 to get into(actually $ 1 cheaper than the main beach) and as it’s a bar there are fewer children running around. There were a lot of *interesting* patrons who provided entertainment, including a group of guys in tank tops(& less) who seemed to spend most of the time admiring and squeezing each other. I am reliably informed that the term for these gentlemen is «douche bro», which was a new one for me(as a non American). It was actually pretty funny. We were there for an afternoon, so it was busy but not crazy. I expect the evenings are nuts in peak season. Don’t go in with high expectations(as with anywhere in this area) and you will enjoy yourself. Was my first time on the shore so really only a recon mission — will be back & probably return to Martell’s to see what entertainment the evening can provide.

When the designated driver who hasn’t been drinking, gets kicked out because she appears to be «belligerent» when she was laughing walking to the bathroom. That’s a problem. Even more so when the«Manager» who is claiming said customer was«drunk»… refuses to confront the«drunk» person, refuses to even have a conversation to see in fact if the person is even drunk at all, is beyond unacceptable, inappropriate, and completely rude and disgusting service. If a manager is accusing someone of acting inappropriately, from a distance, that person should be professional enough to confront the person herself, rather than ask two people in «red shirts» AND security to corner a poor girl as she tries to exit a bathroom. Tiki Bar, I’m disgusted, and disappointed in your way of handling this situation. Paying customers come to your establishment to have a good time, not to be rudely escorted out because someone was«laughing.» When we tried to speak to a manager, you told us that it would be impossible for us to speak with the manager who accused our friend of being belligerent? Impossible? Seriously? Why so? Did we not pay you for your services? Were we rude to your waitstaff? To your bartenders? I guess we paid you to be jerks. And yet somehow, you decided to kick all 13 of us?! Guilty by association?! You kicked out a bunch of professional and responsible nurses! It’s disgusting how you were so quick to dismiss us, because were asian? Because we pulled the race card? Clearly so, because when we quietly left, you decided to listen to our WHITE friends, when they demanded for your attention, and they got refunds! How are we using the race card inappropriately now? You’re disgusting, and I will never be back there again!

My rating for Tiki is for the off season. I barely come to PPB during the summer. Tiki has change a lot since I was a young person(enjoy your youth before it slips through the palm of your hands like grains of golden sand). I am now #elderly. When you enter, you are carded and it is not a normal process at a normal bar. Your ID is scanned, your stuff is searched. I am not sure what happened that caused this. Maybe it is a result of the lovely young woman who got black out drunk and stole an SUV from a neighboring valet lot? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Gosh, I would hate paying the premium for Martell’s CGL insurance. And you thought there was NOREASON for your screwdriver to be $ 13. HA! Nevertheless, I enjoy the Tiki Bar. You can have fresh orange juice and vodka and watch the ocean and listen to music. They often have local live cover bands. Most of them are very entertaining. They also play blaring EDM at times and I can smoke outside in a liesurely manner while I sip on my cocktail. Of course, you should not be a dubm ass, stay in PPB or take the train. Do not partake in DWI. It is BAD.
