Went for the first time last night. We had wings, blackened fish tacos, BBQ brisket sandwich and fries. Food and service were great. Tried some new beer(huge selection). The place has a fun vibe!

Amendment 21 is a cozy little craft beer bar with friendly staff, amazing food, and an extensive list of draught beers. I loved the«rustic indie» atmosphere — exposed brick, mason jar lights, good music, and lovely décor. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The service was a little slow, but our server was extremely personable and accommodating. I appreciated that we didn’t feel rushed despite how busy it was. Great place! Will likely visit again soon…

Someone must be paying attention to the reviews because service has seriously improved. Very cute spot to grab a drink and some nibbles. Love the new burger with pancetta and gorgonzola cheese. Great beer and bourbon selection.

Great professional staff. Been here several times. At first just for the amazing craft beer selection, then we started with apps, soon after we started eating dinner too. I love the calamari. Lightly fried and super fresh and I love the fried capers and fried peppers. The wings are awesome, the Habanero has amazing flavor and not too hot. Had the mussels tonight, very good. We tried the skewers tonight too. Awesome although I’m not into onion. Steak was great. I have a few pictures. Hopefully they will help. Bottom line; amazing staff, great service, super craft beer selection and slamming menu, solid stop.

I’ve been here twice now & the food is consistently mediocre. However, they do have some decent craft beers, which earn them a 3 star. Service is fairly slow but the place was packed so they must be doing something right. Would return, but not very often.

The food is amazing. Different from anywhere else around. I love the atmosphere. Cozy. When they have entertainment it is a bit too loud for me, but then again, I’m old. Their Merlot is perfect; nice and chilled. I like to go for lunch, it isn’t so crowded or loud then. Go and try their menu, it really is great.

Been here many times and the variety of beers was top rate. Lately though they are lacking. Very disappointed.

Stopped in for a quick beer. Friendly staff, was pretty slow the afternoon we went. Decent craft beer selection. House made guacamole was fantastic! Almost as good as mine :P We will be back to try more beer and grub.

The food is fantastic, the staff friendly and helpful(especially when your indecisive about your next drink choice) and the selection of tasty beers is great!

Three people ate lunch. Two appetizers, one burger, two poboys, 3 sodas, &2 vodka drinks for $ 90 with tip. Chicken wings app was decent but not great. Potato skins were odd but tasty. They’re not your typical skins as they are paper thin strips. Burger was ok. Seemed to be a store-bought patty. The egg on top was the tastiest part. The chicken poboys were just ok. There was far more roll than chicken plus the chicken was dry & not plentiful. Drinks were expensive. Overall this was a disappointing, over-priced meal. The service was fine. The young girl behind the bar was pleasant but we could have eaten at the Broadway Bar & Grill & had a better, less expensive lunch. Next time we will go to the Broadway.

Nice to see a craft beer bar in town. Staff usually quite friendly. With 30 or so taps, I would expect a slightly better beer selection. Not very adventurous. Also, a few imports would help. Would say food is actually above average for pub fair. Small, but comfortable setting. Note that wireless signal very hard to come by as bar is in a basement like setting. If you plan on getting or sending texts, you may be out of luck. Only downside is it is very overpriced. A few beers and sandwiches and you are closing In on $ 100. Am hoping now summer is over to see a few weekly specials. I would go once or twice a week if that were the case. For now, we go once every few months.

I almost want to lie and say this place is terrible, if only to keep it a secret. But that’s not fair. This place is awesome and as one review said, super refreshing for Point, which already has its fair share of beach bars and cougar town joints. We only went for drinks but we’ll be back for food. The beer list is great and the Wife loved her wine. Cool atmosphere, great vibe. I give this place lots of thumbs up.

Awesome spot, how refreshing for Point Pleasant. Space is tight, but very comfortable. It has that«hipster beer bar» feel, but is not at all gaudy or dirty. Wait staff was friendly, fast and informative. While there we had 15+ taps to chose from with solid craft options, even more were available by bottle. Impressive. Mixed drinks seemed solid, but I usually stick to beer. Food was great, I ordered wings and will be back for them soon. Prices were a bit of a premium, but well deserved. Drop in for a pint and some food, I think you will be very pleased!

Hubby and I tried Amendment 21 because of our love for craft beer. Great selection and bartender is quick to give you samples so you can find your favorite. Everyone was nice and very laid back. It’s a smaller room, but enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. I saw a couple of complaints about service time; we never had a problem. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and sat at the bar. Staff was very attentive, but not hawkish. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Great food, great music, great craft beer selection. Only issues is the room is small and gets packed quickly. If you like craft beer though a must go.

I think the staff is amature at best. Inexperienced and timid. The young girl is obviously hired for her naivity. Bull shit! That won’t fly in this little place. You need an experienced customer service pro.

Was really excited to try this place based strictly on the fact that they deemed themselves a craft beer bar. Tap list was pretty solid. I always expect to spend extra $$ on good beer but the $ 20 I was charged for 2 pints was a little excessive, especially for what I ordered. I ordered the A21 burger and my wife had the blackened shrimp bowls and spicy king crab soup. The burger was delicious, the fries were ice cold. My wife enjoyed the shrimp bowls, however the soup went the way of my fries and hit the table ice cold. Might have been due to the fact that it took 45 minutes for our food to be served even tho there were only 6 other ppl in the restaurant.

We tried Amendment 21 because of their beer selection. My wife and I frequent these places because beer is paramount to us. A-21 is fairly small with a bar capacity of about 18 and with tables they can accommodate between 50 – 60 patrons. On a recent Friday evening at 5 pm we sat at the bar. It took a while to be served. The barmaid eventually took our beer order but it was obvious she was unschooled in beer, didn’t know much about it, and wasn’t really too friendly to boot. The beer menu had deleting lines through some of the selections meaning those sixtels had kicked but new beers were not added and you had to ask what they had. Eventually we took a table joined by 4 friends. We sat there maybe 15 minutes then asked a waiter if he would serve us. He told us he was off duty but sent a waitress over who ended up being pretty good. We ordered happy hour food that was surprisingly good. I had great wings and my wife had this shrimp in pastry that was very good. Can’t speak to entreés. By 7 pm it was so noisy all of us wanted out. I wouldn’t go for the beer but the food had potential. We will try it again I suppose after Labor Day

First time I ate at the same restaurant 2 days in a row. You are guaranteed to find a beer that will make you happy. The food will make you happy too, if you choose well. That is what I am going to try to do for you. There are many appetizer choices. I had the chorizo sausage appetizer which was very good. The beet salad was good, but I was told that the goat cheese should have been a little bolder. Fried calamari was over cooked, tough, and chewy. Too bad because if it was not overcooked, it would have been good because the breading was tasty. The rib appetizer consisted of 5 small meaty ribs that were definitely not, «fall off the bone», as many establishments describe their ribs. These had to be cut off the bone and they were also tough. They also had a BBQ sauce brushed on them just before serving. So, pass on the ribs. As for the sandwiches: I was told that the pulled pork sandwich was very good. The steak sandwich, that I had was quite good. The burger that is 2 thirds beef and 1 third pulled pork that is topped with bacon and a fried egg was very good. The chicken po boy was very good. The french fries are some of the best I have ever had. The cole slaw is very tasty and vinegary. Place is small and could become noisy, but that does not bother me. It is about people having a good time. The service is sincere but amateurish. Staff needs to be trained better. For instance, if there is a table of 6 and three appetizers are ordered, when they come to the table there should be a serving utensil on each. Because the place was busy and I really believe short staffed, I just took forks from another table because our waitress was not in sight. When sandwiches came there was no ketchup for the fries. Again waitress not in sight, I had to get up and search for her or at least a bottle of ketchup. Asked for several Cokes, our waitress I believe forgot but when we saw her again she said that she was quite busy(overwhelmed would be a better term). This really was not her fault, It seems that at least one more server was needed on the dining floor. In conclusion, besides that snags in the fabric of Amendment 21, it was a good experience. I will go back. I just hope that the owner if he reads this takes what I say seriously, because he invested a lot of money in this place and I truly would like to see it be a long term success.
