I’m very antisocial and a introvert so the fact I like coming here says alot! Joey is a super great guy and has a welcoming personality. They have old and new comics and some collectibles. Is fun just to participate in what ever the conversation leads to from comics, stories, studios, actors, WWII facts, old inventions, movies, origin stories, etc. Every one should visit if you’re local at least once.

Great comic store! I never knew about it til my mom told me about it! We went there and despite it being small, its realy kool place to grab comics and buy collectibles :) I walked out with a Superman figure from Kingdome Come:))) If they don’t have a comic your looking for then you can order it though them!!! recommend it to friends!

They moved to 896 N Garey Ave, Pomona, CA91767 which is the new address. The location is incredibly difficult to find but its on the left side after you pass the Stater Bros(there’s a sign on the window so make sure you look out for it this since it is the only thing on their storefront). My bf and I came here for Free Comic Book day and at first we drove around in circles looking for the place. Luckily, I was able to spot the sign from across the street. The store is really small but the people who works here are nice and they allowed us to grab some free comics from previous years as well as whatever was left for Free Comic Book day this year. It didn’t look like they have much in variety and quantity of comics since the place is so tiny but I’m sure they can hook you up with some interesting finds.

If you can imagine the old newsstand shops from yesteryear, when people would have a friendly chat with the vendor and buy their comic books, this store would be it. With the comic book stores of today condensed into a tiny package, this quaint shop offers all the luxuries you would want from your most basic comic dealer. Comic book pull lists for the regulars, which most customers seem to be. New comic books on the walls for the occasional passers-by. A few ornate toys garnish the place. Not much in the way of back issues(which is what I usually expect from bigger/better comic book shops), but traditional magazine shops like this seldom do. The clerks and service are excellent; a greeting, some chit chat, and some assistance when asked. Pricing is fair or better. I enjoy deals, and this place had some; I bought and returned the next day to buy a couple more things. This place is only opened Friday and Saturday afternoons, so you’ll have to fit this into your regular weekly schedule to grab some literary goodies and hometown goodness. Also, this place is finding ways to reorganize its space to accommodate more, so you’ll have to overlook some of the loose ends. Submit your own pull list to guarantee that you get your favorite items every week. Small as it may be, its sincere functionality makes it among the better ones in the IE.
