WOW! is all I can say about this place! The food was absolutely amazing. My eggs were cooked to perfection and my hash browns had a slight crunch just how I like them. This has been my second time coming here and this time I was sat in Stephens section. ask for him if you do go. He’s a tall, friendly, funny, and very outgoing server. Plus he’s cute, which always helps. Service was amazing and the food was great. 5⁄5 stars for me.

I wanted to like this spot alot… but the food was just average at best. They have a large menu with alot to chose from. The service was slow but the people are nice. It took a while just to order our drinks & food, but the servers were very polite and had good attitudes. Once the food was ordered it came out within a reasonable amount of time. But it didn’t taste like anything. The Tbone steak was very tough and un seasoned. The pancakes were not very fluffy… over cooked I’d say. And the hash browns where dry and a little hard. All in all it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good…

Went in on a Sunday around brunch time. The hostess sat us(which we were sat right near the hostess station) We sat there for a good 15 – 20 mins with servers walking right by us until we finally had to ask for menus and water. About 15 mins later they finally came to take our order. The food took quite long to come out about a 20 min wait. The server hardly even came back after our food was served to check if we needed anything. Basically service was horrible, the food was decent but It wasn’t anything special. The only good things about this place were the large portions and good pricing. I don’t think I will be back anytime soon. Maybe I’ll give them 1 more shot in the future but not anytime soon well see.

Went to Unilocal in search of a breakfast spot in Pomona and was directed here by the stars we had three different plates and were very satisfied with our meal choices. The Huevos Rancheros were tortillas were slightly crisp and the salsa on top was perfect, the chorizo plate was also spot on, I mean can one really go wrong with chorizo? Yes one can but not at this place and our last dish was the pancake combo. Pancakes were fluffy and not too dried out nor did they soak up the syrup as some do. I’d highly recommend this place!

Family hot spot. Great service. Food is good, almost every breakfast meal comes with Pancakes. Overall it’s a great place! Their Hollandaise Crepes are delicious as is their Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad.

The food was greasy and not how it was described on the menu. My bf ordered the French toast with cream cheese and your choice of fruit in which he picked strawberries. When his food came out, I laughed because it was a glazed donut with cream cheese in the middle and they just threw strawberry jam on top. I got milk and he got OJ and refills are not free. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash brown only to realize that they put chunks of sausage in their gravy… I hate sausage so I got sad! Haha. Yup. We pretty much left hungry cuz we just picked at our food. Prices are about $ 10. Go to IHOP instead!

Such a charming little place! It is older so when you pull up don’t be surprised. Prices are average similar to iHop or Denny’s with way more food! Not to mention the food was lovely, and so are the staff! We came on a Wednesday morning and it was quiet. A nice change from a busy restaurant!

Great customer service, food was waaaaaay better than norms or ihop! The only thing, kids menu a bit over priced, but regular menu’s portions are pretty big… my first time here but defenetly not my last. Music was playing throughout our breakfast and we really enjoyed it.

I went in kind of early and was seated right away. This place is fairly cheap for breakfast and has a lot of really yummy looking options. I ordered guava juice to drink which was little disappointing– definitely was powdered as I could see powder clumps in my drink, was a little pricey for what I was getting(and no refills!) and just didn’t taste anything like a guava. For breakfast, I got the Texas scramble, basically eggs with beans and jalapeños. The jalapeños didn’t have much bite too them but nothing some hot sauce couldn’t solve. The hash browns were nice and crisp and my pancakes were delicious. The syrup choices were nice too(blueberry was great and the server even packed me some up!). My partner got the corned beef breakfast combo. It was a little salty for me but he enjoyed it. Overall, nice food, friendly servers and a nice, quick breakfast.

Spacious restaurant with an extensive menu that’s cooked to delicious awesome to the tunes of the Golden Oldie Rock days(the music even inspires me even more to play the Fallout game series as soon as I get home! Haha). The portions can also be extremely generous, so be hungry! You can never go wrong with the potato pancakes located in the appetizers but don’t be fooled, it’s filling! Amazing crepes(customizable, too! Lingonberry-blueberry sweet crème!!) I just chill out with my beau, drink cups of coffee and chow down on really filling and wholesome food. Legit diner, no disappointments! :D

The food was ok, the pancakes were not good tasted a lot like baking soda we had them switched for French toast that was much better. The bacon tasted like it had been cooked in old oil

The only thing I liked about this place is the food was good, but I don’t think the service is worth coming back for. One it took forever for someone to ask for our drink order. The hostess was the one that asked if anyone has taken our drink order. Second there seemed to be more bus boys walking around then waiters. We had to pretty much wave our waiter down every time we needed something. I can understand if it was busy and that is why it took so long but there wasn’t that many people in there. Third we asked our waiter about kids eating free if it after 2 pm. She said yes as long as you purchase a drink. Well at the end of it we still got charged for the kids meal. By then my husband was over it and just paid the bill. Overall I don’t think I will come back.

I just adore this restaurant. It has become a near weekly weekend ritual for my family to come here and enjoy their food. To start off, we have ALWAYS been greeted promptly here by a busboy and asked what we want to drink. You want coffee sleepyhead? Well guess what? A carafe of coffee comes to your table when you order it. Like hello this is genius and reminds me of one of my favorite places we use to eat at when I was a child. Can two people drink a carafe of coffee you ask? Me and my significant other can. Food portions are large and of high quality, we’ve always split our meal and ordered a side of fruit to fool ourselves into thinking we are eating something healthy. I love their biscuits and gravy and their hash browns are always perfectly crispy. Only teensy complaint is bacon is typically on the limp side, just remember to ask for it crisp if you are like me and like it crunchy. My daughter loves the silver dollar pancakes and the waitress has always been fine with switching out her eggs for hash browns. Regarding the décor, etc., yes it is an older building, for me personally, it just brings back nostalgic memories of similar breakfasts with my family. So if you don’t mind what we use to lovingly call a good«greasy spoon» vibe, you will definitely not mind it here. Staff is efficient and friendly without being over the top in your face.

Based on the name, you’d think that this would be the place to go for pancakes. Wrong. Being a fan of Flappy Jacks in Glendora, my pancake bar is admittedly set pretty high, but I was willing to give this place a try. First off, the restaurant is pretty large, having the look and feel of an old Sizzler, but I digress. We came in and were seated immediately, which was great, especially for a weekend. Unfortunately, we were there 15 – 20 minutes before the waitress even came to the table, and the place wasn’t even half full. When the food arrived, I was pleased by the size of the portions. That pleasure was quickly extinguished after my first few bites. I was expecting the pancake to be amazing, but it just seemed like more of an after-thought. I wanted to get some extra butter, since they only gave me a single pat, but the waitress never came by again, so that wasn’t happening. The words«you suck» kept echoing through my mind as choked my dry pancakes down. I am scratching this place off of my list of breakfast places.

Pancake cravings hit me hard one morning so I told my husband we needed to fulfill that or it would haunt me the entire day. Always wanting to please, he acquiesced, though really, I’m sure he didn’t think it was a bad idea either. At the time we arrived, the place was empty. We were seated and served by this wonderful lady who was such a pleasure. The menu was great because it had pictures! I always say, visuals are magic. Too many options and I even thought about getting waffles or crepes, but in the end, I got the country fried steak and eggs, which came with hash browns and 3 pancakes. Oh and a side of biscuits and gravy(4) My hubby got himself a waffle plate which had bacon, sausage, eggs and hashbrowns too. Loved that the hashbrowns were perfectly crispy fried. Our eggs were cooked to our liking. My country fried steak was deelish and those pancakes, wow, fluffy inside with a slight crisp outside. I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Though i think my hubby’s waffle was a bit soggy. Biscuits and gravy were a nice fatty added comfort. Very nice experience, cheap prices, great food.
