price: about $ 13 for a salad. it was big, so it made 2 meals for me, but $ 13 for a salad is pretty expensive. food: i ordered the bbq ranch chicken salad. it was delicious, with the bbq sauce and the tortilla chips. service: i asked to be sat outside and the hostess gave me a look and then once she seated me it took foreverrrr for my waitress to come and take my order. it really was about 10 – 15 mins. this is just crazy to me. i dont know if she did not know i was seated in her section or there was a lack of communication btw the hostess and her but this is unacceptable, especially when i was on a short lunch break. it made it hard to enjoy my food bc i had to eat fast. the redeeming quality was the waitress did come to check on me regularly. décor: i did not sit inside so i did not see the décor but i was very happy that they had an outside seating area as it was a nice day outside. overall: i think i wil be back bc the food was good but a little pricey for me.

It’s a very nice traditional brunch food. I had their skillets and the portion was huge. The seats are comfortable and nice area. They do have specialty pancakes which I will want to try next time

My husband and I ate for the first time here. We will go back when in the area. All homemade, Serves homemade potato chips and salsa when you sit down. Good food, and friendly staff. Got special lunch, with soup or sandwich and half baguette sandwich and small amount of fries and a small cup of tapioca pudding that was really good with a teeny tiny spoon and a toothpick in sandwich with a small box of gum attached. Cute. Was crowded and did not take long to get the food.

This place has the friendliest service, food is warm and fresh and reasonable prices. The new doughnut selections are also the best in town.

I will miss this place when I move, but if I’m ever back, I will definitely be coming here. I’ve been here several times, and have never had a bad experience. You may have to wait a little on weekends, but if you come here on a weekday, there’s probably no wait. I ALWAYS have to get peach iced tea. I would come here just for that, but the food is delicious too and comes in huge portions. The breakfast is always tasty, and for lunch, I always get the chicken cashew salad sandwich. For breakfast, I’ve tried omelettes, waffles, French toast, biscuits and gravy, and country fried steak… never had a problem with any, except that I always need a box to take leftovers home. I guess I decided to write a review today, because they were trying out a new thing called«danger donuts» and they gave us multiple for FREE! I didn’t get any since I don’t really like pastries, but my friends took home a few. I think the donuts were home made, and then they decorated the tops with fun sprinkles, then put whipped cream and strawberries on one side. You may have to pay for them soon, so hurry over there! Sighhhhh I’m dreaming about the peach iced tea now…

Love this place! The portions are pretty big so brace yourself. They are really good about refilling coffee and the bonus… *drumroll please*… they finally got their Dirty Donuts in and it was amazing! The high protein waffles is great pre hike or post hike but I’m a big fan of the vege Benedict.

Basic diner food. It’s pricey for what you get. Breakfast specials are about $ 8 and you don’t get full. Full breakfast will set you back about $ 15, plus beverage. I had hash and eggs with toast, served with a small juice. Food was good and coffee refills and service were fast.

OHBABY!!! We stopped in here to get a coffee before our long drive back to Beverly Hills and the counter was just the perfect spot! Coffee was great, service was fantastic, and watching that food come out of the window… that was the priceless part.(I can tell you, they cook up some serious stuff.) HUGE food and happy people up in here! I’m being good eating egg whites and fruit, yeah, I did make it out of there with my clothes still fitting… but right in front of me were muffins as big as my head. Pancakes that could barely stay on the plate, omelettes that were so stuffed-the skillets could barely hold them. If you’re hungry for some serious breakfast grub, this is your spot. I’d go again if I have to visit my clients out that way. Definitely bring an empty stomach.

A restaurant literally with two names simultaneously: BC Café and Kick Back Jack’s. Signs outside the restaurant say both, menus say one, staff t-shirts say another. I’m confused. Interior looks 100% identical to a Denny’s. Menu is similarly Denny’s style with 100 different dishes to choose from with a disconcerting lack of overlap of some ingredients. There is no focus to the menu: breakfast, brunch, burgers, quesadillas, everything. It seems that they are famous for their«dirty» menu, which has to have an alternate, more appetizing name. I got what another Unilocaler raved about, the dirty chicken biscuit. This plate was enormous –packing 2,000 calories easily. The actual fried chicken part was tasty, but the plating looked unappetizing and the massive portion and heavy carb overload easily did me in. Overall, this is just not my type of restaurant in any way. I’m sure it’s great for Sunday brunch with a big group when people just want to eat a lot of heavy food and take leftovers home. But my overall impression was that this is just a Denny’s with a mild, original spin.

It was my first visit, went because of the positive Unilocal reviews. Was there for Mother’s Day with a good friend. We were seated right away on the patio. The wait was long if you didn’t want the patio. So I was overjoyed that we didn’t have to wait 40 minutes. Kris was our server, she was outstanding! So patient, when my friend couldn’t decide what she wanted. Her pleasant attitude and great service will have me asking to be seated in her section next time I’m there. I had the Carnitas and eggs breakfast… It was outstanding! My friend had the chicken and eggs breakfast and commented that it was some of the best breakfast she ever had. Will go back for sure!

I usually do not wake up early enough to eat breakfast, but when I do, I choose waffles or pancakes. A friend brought me here to try it out. The service was quick and the food was amazing!!! I got the dirty waffles savory with chicken apple sausage and my friend got the dirty flapjacks. Waffles with sausages were new to me, but it was a good balance of sweet and savory and I tried the flapjacks and they were bigger than my face! I’d come here more often if I was a morning person and if I lived closer.

This place was super bomb, don’t remember exactly what we ordered but the stuffed cream cheese strawberry pancake? It Was super bomb. Their salsa and chips is super addicting although seems like the salsa is from a can. ordered a strawberry orange juice with some other kind of fruit and it was amazing! We had the run around all morning trying to find a good breakfast spot and literally drove like 20 miles and ended up here. Worth it tho food was good.

LET’S GETDIRTY! 1st time. Stopped by after taking a hike. 8t was Sunday so there was bit of a line but no big deal we had a party of 10 and we were seated within 15 mins or so. There are so many choices! Some people said there were too many choices. I ended up getting the pork chop breakfast with hash browns, 2 eggs, and a mountain of fluffy pancakes. It was amazing, I couldn’t finish all of the pancakes I put up a good fight but in the end I was k.o.‘d. Out waitress was awesome very sweet and personable. My only negative feedback is stop teasing us with the dirty donuts on the menu and tshirts. Either carry them or take them off. It’s not fair!

Eating the dirty chicken and biscuits with home style fires is like true love in a long term relationship. She no longer needs make to make you happy to see her, your heart stops knees buckle and you run out of words to describe her. Every time she touches your mouth time just stops, you can feel your heart stop beating, you drop everything and just look at her with such joy wanting more but your just fine continually looking until she meets your mouth again. Each consecutive time she meets your mouth, you start losing your breath and want to take a break but you just need more and more until you can’t take anymore. You can finish her or save her for later because she understands your already invested in her. And when everything is finished you don’t feel sad because you know that you can come back and do it all over again if you’re willing to give the time and the money, aching to go at it again. Yes this is how my meal went as I ate it. I then got tired and fell asleep even though it’s mid day. If you want to have this experience you know what to get. The dirty chicken and biscuits with home style fries. I also had a loyal side drink of tropical peach tea then kept coming no matter how many times she was emptied out of her juices, twas sweet to have throughout my meal.

OMGTHEPANCAKES!!! Ok, so my boyfriend knows I love love LOVE breakfast places and some buttery pancakes(a little more than I love him, but don’t be sad… he has come to terms with this). Anyway, so being the awesome person he is, he brought me here. As a first-timer, I immediately liked the«feel» of the restaurant. It was like cozy and welcoming… it was also pouring rain out so this was obviously my safe haven. HA! I ordered the«2 Jack» which comes with 2 pancakes, 1 egg and 2 pieces of either sausage or bacon. It’s under the«Just right lites» section in the menu. Made me feel better about my diet… LOL So. Good. Pancakes were huge and buttery and omgggg they were like everything I dreamed about. The house syrup was okay. It had hints of cinnamon which isn’t my thing, but the pancakes made up for that. My boyfriend, who isn’t a fan of pancakes(aka the antichrist of all things buttery and cakey) ordered the Denver omelette with hash browns and toast. The portions were huge(as expected) and the side toast, they give you 2 slices of bread, so like 4 pieces total. Omg. God Bless America! and Carbs. The service was what really impressed me. We were constantly getting our drinks refilled, getting our toppings and spreads, asking if everything was ok with our food, extra napkins, told me I looked like Kim Kardashian… ok not the last one, but I’m sure if I would’ve stayed long enough it would’ve happened. Overall, amazing food and amazing service. When I’m feeling like a fatty and yearning for my cakes, you BUTTER ;) believe I’m coming back here. Definitely a recommendation from me.

So for my second time I decided to order off the Dirty Menu. The Dirty Chicken and Biscuits that I had were AMAZING! Most amazing thing I have eaten in awhile! 2 open faced biscuits smothered in country gravy, layered with crisp hash browns, chicken fried steak, 2 thick slices of bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and wait for it… cheese sauce! Every single bite was perfect. I am getting hungry just thinking about it. **Order Off the Dirty Menu!

First of all, the sign outside says BC Café. It was a little misleading at first, but google maps still brought me to the right place. I came on labor day Monday at 1130am. My wait for two was about 15 mins. The restaurant was packed! The waiter and waitress were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. They gave me water as I sat at the table and waited for my friend to come. The food portions can feed you for days. I ordered the Bahamama Omelette with banana nut pancakes. The omelette came on a skillet and was delicious with just the right amount of flavor. The pancakes were more on the dry side and tasted like wheat pancakes, but i loved it! Definitely better than your average IHOP experience.
