Steak was a little over cooked not enough variety, and I felt unwelcome the whole time I was there. Much nicer places in the vicinity.

I was visiting my Brazilian friend and her husband in Pompano Beach last Tuesday night. They invited me and my daughters to have a dinner. We were talking about my bad experiences at couple of brazilian restaurants in Miami. They promised me to take us to the best Brazilian restaurant in South Florida. When we arrived to the restaurant I was in doubt, the outside of the place looks little bit shady, it is located in a neighborhood strip mall. As soon you get in, every thing looks comfy and warm inviting. They have a full bar and a music show. We started with caipirinhas… excellent. Then my friend’s husband order picanha for 4. The servers started to bring a look a like tower, full of salad, palm of hearts, fried yuca, fried plantains, black beans, rice and another goods. Then a ladies brought to us a tray with 8 big pieces of tender and juicy meat. More than enough for all 6 of us. The picanha was perfectly cooked medium. More caipirinhas was asked. This place is amazing. We can even finish our dinner. They wrapped it to go. The my friend Suzanne order dessert. Passion fruit mouse, and a chocolate cake. We topped dinner with a Brazilian coffee. Out the world dinner experience. Awesome restaurant, outstanding service great musical show. Like my friends said: best Brazilian restaurant in South Florida. Prices very affordable. Thanks Suzanne and Leonardo.

Buy by the pound or all you can eat for 22 $. If you do go and you like your steak medium rare make sure you learn how to say it in Portuguese cause the guy who cutting the meat will give the over cook one. Overall the food was good when I got the cut I wanted, but as I sat there watch him cut the other meat for I guess the regular customer, I couldn’t help but think that they give new comers and non speaker well done jerky! The best Brazilian food in South Florida. The picanha meat is so soft. Definitely recommend it. Delicious!

The food here is what you’d expect… Delicious and reasonably priced. It’s worth coming here just for the entertainment. Renan Nerone and Ismael Costello on Saturday nights from 7:30 till 10:30

Well, where to start, this place is awesome and has been around for years. You can choose to eat from the buffet or order from the menu. I prefer the menu, but the food, overall, is excellent. You can eat like royalty, without spending like royalty. Great atmosphere, so if you’re ever in Plantation(just northwest of Ft. Lauderdale) please make sure you stop buy and make your taste buds happy all over again.

I have been coming here for years! Being Brazilian my family and I are always looking for places where we can feel like we are back home. This place is one of them. At first glance you might question your decision to go due to their location.(strip mall) but once you walk in all doubt melts away! There is a full bar plenty of room, stage(sometimes they have live music at night) and a buffet section with yummy food. The selections are typical of an authentic Brazilian restaurant with basics such as rice, beans, pasta, vegetables, chorizo etc. When you are done serving your sides you can select your meats straight from the bbq pit! The server cuts the meat right in front of you and you have a variety of meats to choose from. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Brazilian meal without the hype and price tag that others offer.

I just have a phrase for this place… Excellent Food, but the worst customer service that I have seen in my life.

I’ve been here several times once for the buffet and the rest for take out dinner! I will say the Brazilian cuisine is tasty. This place is no exception but it’s does has it hits and misses! The steakhouse portion very tasty, well seasoned, flavorful and over all delicious. The meats were well done when freshly placed out, however it can get a «little» I mean tiny bit chewy if they have been smoldering there for awhile. I haven’t had too much problem. I have had their calamari and I will say it is a tiny bit salty for my liking. Why order it again. Thinking it was a fluke and maybe the batter was accidentally over seasoned. Which I think is the case even in its saltiness it can be tasty, a slight tweaking is needed. My favor love is the garlic rice, tooth paste and bubble gum will be needed! Service was friendly and fast. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular but it certainly isn’t subpar.

I understand that this is the best around. For the price, lack of customer service and limited selection of non meat items, still worth the trip. The guy operating the skewers, I can hardly understand and he will try and push the lower end meats on you… But push back and demand the good stuff, you deserve it. Perfectly salted, perfectly cooked, perfect flavor. Stick to the meats and you won’t regret it. They have dipping dots ice cream for an extra price. There is an option to either all you can eat, or pay by the pound. Not sure what is the better deal, but for about $ 20 on the all you can eat, come hungry and it won’t matter. The bar is open and loud with non English speaking crowd that looks like they are having too much fun. A fight almost started while we were eating, at that was at 6pm… Must get real rowdy at night. Outside you feel like you are Ina different country, but never in danger, so park, and get your meat eating carnivore wildness on!

When visiting Fort Lauderdale I always visit this restaurant. The Brazilian food is authentic and very good. The caprinhas are excellent. We had the picanha grelhada which comes with two steaks, rice, beans, French fries or mandioca, and salad with palmetto and olives. The meals although they say they are for one actually are plenty for two people. We also ordered a side of shrimp sautéed in garlic and olive oil and banana frita. The fried banana would be enough for four people. The service was excellent!!! There were times in years passed where the waitresses were nonchalant about the service because of the automatic 15 percent tip, but not the case in the two times we visited this month. If you want good, authentic food this is the place to come. The restaurant is not fancy, but it is comfortable and casual. I recommend ordering from the menu — made to order fresh and hot.

Overdone meat. Super salty too. Buffet line isn’t refreshed enough. Come here only at lunch if you do. I was really turned off my the 15% automatic tip. Service is pretty slow, since they know they have you already. The bar crowd is far too loud and really ruin the ambiance. Décor is non existent

Food is bad, beans are watery with no flavor, rice is hard and oily, vinaigrette is too sour, plantains are not ripe, salad options are very slim, no well done meats in barbecue, and almost no variety. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Food is hit or miss — even on their best days, it’s just average Brazilian food, and this is coming from a Brazilian. What’s more disturbing is the fact that they are prone to scamming you on the tip. If you decide to chance it, triple check your bill to make sure the amounts add up; wait a few days later and make sure the amount billed on your statement matches the receipt. Don’t think I’ll be going back again, it’s just not worth the disgusting ethics, or lack thereof.

I was scammed with the tip. The food is not as good as other Brazilian restaurant I have been to like Steak Brazil Miami; the ambience has the appeal of a rundown 90’s club. We go to this business because it’s closer and convenient and it’s not my first rodeo so I know what to expect when I go. The last time we went we bought the $ 8.50 per pound option. The meat was not savory, kind of chewy and they only have 2 choices costela and picanha the rice and other buffet items were cold. I ordered a caipirinha against my good judgment and It was overpowered by the cachaça. We were already bumped down by the whole situation. We ask for the check and as always, regardless the amount of patrons they charged 15% tip… $ 5.14 tip on a 34.00 bill. For me it’s ok since I normally leave always at least a 10% tip regardless the service and food because I understand the waiters are underpaid. Apparently it was not enough with the $ 5.14. They overcharged my credit card with an additional $ 4.75 for a total of the $ 9.89 tip, approximately 30% tip… For terrible food and service. They won’t have my business again.

Based on the reviews of this place, I was really looking forward to trying the food here. The food was very good, but I’m not sure I would come back. I hate to say it, but ambience does affect my experience and this place was just too bare. It felt as though some thought went into the bar area, but then the dining area just looked like the setup in a church basement. If the food had blown my mind, I would have been able to overlook it, but it was just good. Also, the service was not good at all. There were two servers and, from what I can tell, the hostess station is in the back corner of the restaurant, so we were confused when we walked in and just sat ourselves. Then waited until we made eye contact with a server to place our drink order. It was harder than you might think since the servers were either busy chatting with each other or flirting with the bar patrons. They were friendly enough when we placed orders, but they seemed more interested in their own lives than our service. Again, I was really stoked to try this place based on the reviews, but for me, the food just wasn’t good enough to overcome the bad space and poor service. Bummer.
