Graebel Van Lines

One star is too high! Bottom line, if you don’t want to have the move from hell and value your belongings, DO NOT USE GRAEBEL! Even if the competitors rates are a bit higher, you will more than make up for it by hopefully not having the problems and headaches caused by Graebel.
Positive: The sales person was professional, efficient and answered all of my questions. The packers were amazing!
Now the Negative: Once the last shuttle left my house, that is the last that I heard from the move coordinator or the company. Even after repeated emails and blowing up their phone with voice messages, I was never given the name and contact information for the driver. I had no clue as to if the truck even left Florida as scheduled. The driver did not contact me with the final weight of the truck nor did he communicate with me at any time.
Trying to find the location of my goods was frustrating. I never did hear back from the Florida office. Contacting the office in Denver was also very frustrating. I had left messages and was told I would get a call back. Finally, I had to call and demand that I not be put on hold and be connected to a supervisor or manager. After nearly 20 minutes on hold, they located the truck, which had been set in their delivery yard and been there for over two days!
When I finally was able to get a delivery date out of the Denver location, they acted like they were doing me a big favor by delivering my belongings! Spending over $ 17,000 for the move, I expected at least a little courtesy, regular updates, and prompt delivery.
I paid for an unpack and they sent only two people for a 17,000+ pound load. Needless to say, I worked just as hard as the unpackers to get everything done in a day. Why did I have to pay them so that I could work?
I have only just begun assessing the damages to my belongings. The movers who put my guest bed together put screws in the wrong place and drilled holes all the way through the footboard. Accidents happen, but why didn’t they at least tell me? They had to know they did it. When I called the Denver office, the response was, «Sorry about that, call your move coordinator.» Really?
I have only just begun to look over everything. I am not looking forward to what I am sure I am going to find.

ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE! Priceless artwork is damaged. There is residual glue from tape being all over my dining room table and my mattress. This company is just ridiculous. They had possession of my household for 10 days! Literally waited till the absolute deadline to get it delivered. Avoid Graebel at all costs!
