Lord… Initially this was a place I actually liked. You know, a somewhat healthy alternative in the mall food court. My recent visit kind of sealed the deal. So I get to the counter and wait. And wait. And wait some more. I’m patient, but goodness. I notice an employee sitting in the middle of the place on a computer(this location is an L shape so she is smack dab in the middle). Someone from the back sees me and yells for her, we will call her«Becca», to wait on me. I order my meal– a create your own salad. She almost doesn’t put gloves on until about two inches away from grabbing the lettuce. Then she proceeds to talk to me about her life– and how bad it is. I feel bad, but I’m hungry so I don’t REALLY care but I listen. My meal is prepared and she continues to talk about how she is short money on her car. When she rings me up. She tells me for being nice she will give me a discount. The kicker is, she says she is obligated to ask for a tip. Seriously? Does everyone get tips now? To be noted, there was a tip jar. So I said I would give a dollar. She rings me up, picks up the dollar, doesn’t put it in the jar but in her pocket, essentially using the company discount to steal tips from people. I was more hungry than annoyed so I figured I would just cut my losses. I feel bad, yes, but I don’t need to be haggled like I’m on the streets of South Beach when I want a salad at the mall. C’mon now.

After a nice workout, this place is really nice to come to and grab a salad. You can build your own, and choose four toppings to put on it. They have a variety of toppings to choose from, along with numerous different salad dressings. My favorite to get is a large spinach salad with chicken, cheese, sun flower seeds, and cucumbers with the light ranch. The salad costs around seven bucks, but if you save your receipt from the time before and do the survey on the phone you get two dollars off the next time you go. They also have wraps, fresh juices, yogurt with granola and fruit, and paninis! There is something for everyone!
