Mister Sparky

I have used Mister Sparky for several years now and have found them to be very professional for every job they have done for us — both large and small. The owner, Kevin Court, is very knowledgeable in his trade and insists that his staff be as professional and competent as well. In skilled trades such as electrical work, I have found that you get what you pay for and if you are looking for a professional job done correctly the first time that will pass any municipality’s electrical inpection — look no further, Mr Sparky of Pompano Beach will get your job done at a fair price. I have gone cheap in the past and like the old adage says, «the cheap can turn expensive». The last job they did was earlier this week and the certified electrician was Rick C. He rendered the same high standard service as the other electricians. He was proved very knowledgeable and offered creative ideas in designing the lighting plan in my kitchen expansion area and look forward to him coming back for the second phase after the new cabinets are installed.

I cannot imagine why anyone has not given this company rave reviews… They are very helpful: arrive on time with 30 minutes advance call, do excellent work and stand behind it and they have very pleasant electricians who go above and beyond to help. I highly reccomend them.

I obtained a written estimate. First, the listed of recommended items included to replace a panel; yet the written description of the findings did not mention the panel at all. When questioned, Mr. Sparky management said they would investigate find out why the panel was recommended to be replaced. They never responded, nor replied to subsequent follow-​up telephone calls. Second, the price estimates appeared to be triple what I was quoted from other electricians. I did not award the project to this firm, and selected another.

Timely but overpriced. I had a time sensitive issue that simply related to switching out a $ 6.00 outlet. Mister Sparky advertises flat rate pricing, so I knew it would be higher than expected. I didn’t expect it to be three times the price. A job that should have been at most $ 150 cost $ 588. They were there less than 30 minutes. So disappointed.

I was scheduled For a time between 1 and 4 and received a call last minute that they couldn’t make it. Very disappointing given that I waited and rearranged my schedule to do so. Worse was the reason given… Another customer added items during the visit which made a technician unavailable to make my committed time. If you schedule a time… Don’t trust they will show up to do the work.
