This is the second time I used this company. They arrived and took very good care of all my belongings, and moved quickly!!! They were pleasant, right down to the sales dept on the phone.
They assured me of the service I would get, and they did just that! Due to the fast effort, with no damage or breakage, the costs was kept at a very fair price. Thank you, You made my move a very smooth transaction!

Unacceptable!!!
Where do I begin. I contracted Neighbors Moving & Storage to move my belongings and store in their storage facility. They arrived and did so. The crew was professional and moved my belongings which were in pristine condition (photos to prove the condition) from a hi rise in Miami Fl to their storage facility. The move was quick and easy for the movers. My belongings were moved from my apartment to a elevator and down a hall to an enclosed loading dock and into the truck.
I stored my my belongings with them for 2 years as I moved in with my ill mother to help with her care. In doing so paying a storage fee of $ 195.00/monthly, totaling approx. $ 5,000.00. Finally the day has arrived March 3, 2014, for me to move my belongings into my new apartment in Plantation, FL. Upon arrival the movers opened the truck and before removing my belongings they tell me that some of my things were damaged with MOLD. My response was calm and shocked. The movers claimed they were not aware of this until they opened the truck because they were not the individual to load the truck. I proceeded to have them remove my belongings as I took photos of the damage and they put it back in the truck because obviously I can not have these things in my new apartment because it is a health hazard. While doing this I was on the phone with Neighbors Storage. At this time Frank the employee/​manager that I had been dealing with for 2 years to make payments for storage was suddenly not available. He was always available to receive my payment for 2 years. I was told they were sorry and they would send me the appropriate info to file a claim. I phoned several times a day for a month with no response and no assistance just apologies. Upon receiving the info for the claim company I filed a claim and received a settlement of $ 58.00 and was told I would have to dispute this if not satisfied. This is not a move claim which I explained to them. This is a claim against the storage facility not the moving side of the business. Therefore this is not to be handled the same way as a damaged or lost belonging. This is against the Storage Facility for not ensuring the safety of my belongings while stored with «Neighbors Moving & Storage which provides storage services that include clean, professional, short and long-​term storage in modern, sanitized, private rooms at affordable prices. All of our climate controlled facilities are designed for residential and commercial uses. Each facility is equipped with state-​of-​the-​art security systems and fire alarms with 24-​hour central monitoring. As part of our storage services, Neighbors Moving & Storage». this is directly from their website. Obviously something happened at this facility to cause mold on my belongings. Please let me state my taste is exceptional and the initial claim for my belongings totaled $ 7250.00. This was a reasonable claim not the total cost of my belongings. Today I speak with the storage facility (Brandon) the Manager. Also being told that Frank has been removed from my case. That is odd in itself why would you remove the Manager that I was dealing with for 2 years during the time that my belonging were stored in this facility, very suspicious. They actually told me they would give me $ 200.00, that is completely UNACCEPTABLE (laughing) I have been calm up until this point but now I have been forced to take further action.
Please read this before contracting this company. If you chose to use them be warned and use with CAUTION…
I am sure they will remove this and I will continue to re-​post until a settlement has been made.

As with most moving companies, they over promise and under deliver. Stay away from these guys. Like I said they promised so many things but when moving day came none of it happened. They dragged our box spring and mattress thru the dirt, just thru items in boxes without wrapping them. Then they suckered my wife into over tipping them for the poor service. Got to the delivery, the move was only from Lake Worth to Jensen Beach and they had destroyed our trash can, ruined a painting that should not have been damaged, broke an antique dish and then wanted more money for tips. The one guy spent more time on his phone doing business for his other job that getting our items into the home. ALSO THEY USE A THIRD PARTY INSURANCE COMPANY WHICH I AM NOW DEALING WITH, OUR VALID $ 600 CLAIM THEY ONLY WANT TO PAY $ 68. GIVE ME A BREAK. So if you want a good mover, this is not the company, they were anything but good.

Neighbors Moving & Storage «lost» our televisions, apologized, then denied our claim. The actual mover remembered packing it and loading it on the truck, 3 of us watched it go on the truck, we had pictures, receipts and both televisions were listed on their inventory … yet they denied the claim. This gives an entirely new meaning to fresh off the truck merchandise. Do yourself a favor and choose a different mover if you want your technology to actually make it to your house.

Jason and his crew did a good job. They even fixed a leg on one of my heirloom pieces, like the carpenter Jesus, he saved my furnitures broke leg. Movers are there to get things moved … They did it and finished under the standard rate… respectful and considerate. Hire these guys again.

The crew arrived ready to work. They wrapped and disassembled large heavy pieces of furniture with ease. Everyone worked promptly moving items from the third floor via stairs. The price was reasonable, the service great, and staff was professional. They missed a fifth star due to arriving a little late, but the driver Mr. Moore sure made up for the delay with courtesy and great customer service.

Neighbors moving was the best to us. My mother is a widow and I’m an over the road trucker, so I didn’t have time to help my mother move last min. Sammys crew from Neighbors moving showed up on time, we’re extremely efficient and polite, they moved everything we needed to move so fast it blew my mind. Thank you guys!!!

Worst move ever… I tipped $ 100/​man each way. They stole my sterling silver and my power tools! They were a day late with delivery (we had to sleep on the floor of our new house). They kept telling us they would be there in an hour until 8:00PM when I could no longer reach them. They lied, they stole and there was a lot of breakage… Things like glasses and dishes were poorly packed. One box was totally crushed. Please don’t use this company. The other negative reviews were all correct…

SCAM!!! They will over charge you and damage your furniture!!! DO NOT USE!!! Scam!!! I moved out of a small 2 bedroom condo all I had was the bedroom furniture and a couple boxes to move. They took their sweet time so they can over charge me, they will also take the longest route to the destination. When they arrived at the new place I was charged $ 1,000 !!! Just for a couple of things! My brand new vanity was damage and not replaced and my headboard was also damaged

Arrive on time, but have difficulty following simple directions. They made a mess of my move… Only job was to move items into garage and pay attention the clearly labeled boxes. They made it very difficult to unpack because they just put boxes wherever they felt like.
Spoke with customer service and they offered to come back out and fix it, if I paid them. My recommendation, find another moving company.

First Jamie and crew were late by 2 hours today which would have been fine if they had completed the move. They fully load the truck, but did not have space for about one more room worth of items. They told me they would drop off the items and come back for the remaining furniture. Let me mention I am only moving about 8 miles. They unloaded and never bothered to come back for the remaining furniture, call, or anything. I called the office, its after hours, and of course no one answers. Now I find myself on a Sunday night with a 10 AM walk through on Monday in a house that’s been sold with furniture in it. In addition, they damage the stair nose on one of the steps which happened because they dropped a piece of furniture on it. This is not a guess I saw it myself.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my parents who are retired, living in Florida. My Dad shared his horrible moving experience with me, and I decided to post this review.
I’m not interested in inflammatory accusations, or opinions towards Neighbors Moving & Storage, instead I want to share the facts of my family’s experience with them.
1. A confirmed move-​in window was set and confirmed to be at or near 12 noon. The truck arrived at 3:30pm. This made for a very difficult situation as our building has strict rules that all moves must be completed at 4pm. Neighbors was informed of this rule many times before the move-​in date arrived. The salesman/​manager who agreed to these terms was named Joe. The belongings were being transported from Neighbors’ storage facility to my parents’ new apartment. It shall be noted that there was no significant negative incident with crew who originally picked up an moved the items to storage prior to this day.
2. The 3 man crew was led by a men named «Coffee» and George. These two men demanded that my father sign the moving documents stating «everything was in perfect condition» BEFORE they moved one item off the truck. My father protested. The men’s attitudes became more threatening and demanded he sign or they wouldn’t move a thing.
3. The very first items off the truck were very valuable Oriental rugs. The men roughly dragged these delicate rugs across the concrete (instead of carrying them). My father cried out in disbelief: «Guys, those rugs are worth a lot of money!» Coffee made the remark: «Well, not anymore!» as George laughed along. The mattress and box spring received the same rough treatment. Both the rugs and the mattresses are permanently stained and frayed from this activity.
4. The professionally packed boxes were clearly marked «fragile» and «this side up», but this crew deliberately turned them wrong side down, roughly knocked them off the truck to the ground, and stacked heavy boxes onto those marked «fragile». It was clear this crew was acting malicious and doing this on purpose. My Dad couldn’t take it anymore and called the office whereby he explained to Joe what was ensuing. Joe replied: «if I reprimand these guys by phone, things will get worse on site.» At this point my Mother was literally in tears as she witnessed cherished family heirlooms were being damaged and tossed about. George laughed in her face.
5. The items broken, damaged and ruined include: designer leather couch, fine crystal from France, a glass Daum sculpture, as well as fine china. In addition much of the furniture is scuffed and dinged, as are the walls of the freshly painted apartment. Damage to all items combined are well over $ 5,000 with many items irreplaceable and sentimental.
6. The crew continued this nightmare move and was finally completed by 8:30 pm. It took them over 4 hours to move contents of a 2 bedroom apartment. The men were nasty and disrespectful of property and more importantly my parents’ dignity.
7. There is a missing box of kitchen decorations that included a gift from my Sister-​in-​LAw that cannot be replaced.
I wish my Dad would have phoned the police, or demanded the move be stopped until a manger arrived. He didn’t. The only way to describe the situation was pure intimidation. He was afraid. So was my mother. They are in their 70’s. They simply wanted their life’s possessions moved into their new home. I truly believe they were in shock most of the day, and suffered a great deal of needless stress from rough men taking advantage of a one-​sided situation. The crew was «in control» and took advantage of this «power.»
My Dad made several calls to the office the next day. He received little recourse from the office manager Katherine. Although she was polite, very little was done to find solutions to compensation and customer service. Repeated requests to speak with the owner of the company were ignored. It is now almost a week later and my Dad hasn’t received any calls back. He was instructed to file claims for damaged goods on a third-​party website. He explained to me the site included very suspicious language and legal releases in favor of the moving company and decided not to file via that method. He then called the company again to discuss and did not receive any response (via phone or email). My dad is pursuing advice from an attorney to determine his next steps.
I would proceed with extreme caution if you are considering the services (or lack thereof) of this moving company. Not only did the crew act horrible, but the owners and managers are doing nothing to rectify what happened. I’m angry and upset about how my parents were treated by these belligerent men. I’m frustrated that the company is doing very little about it.

I have had 7 moves in my life. This was the best one thanks to Neighbors Moving & Storage. Brandon and Joe were really friendly on the phone in booking us. The movers were on time and on schedule in their moves and took care with our stuff. My wife and I were very pleased. I would highly recommend it.

This is the fourth time that Neighbors has moved me, and yet again I’m very happy. The two gentlemen arrived at 830, on time and in a great mood. They securely wrapped everything in the house. I have a huge standup safe in the house and there were just two of them. With the safe, It looked next to impossible at times, but they got it done without damaging anything in the house. Bravo! We all drove to the new place and unloaded. Everything arrived in the condition it left in. They were very professional, careful, and respectful. The whole experience from start to finish was very pleasant. The price that they quoted me was the price that I was charged. I was yet again very happy with their service and I will continue to use them and refer them. Thank you neighbors!!!

We hired this company because of the
Unilocal. We had 3 estimates theirs was very competitive. They were punctual, clean, accommodating, friendly They did the packing, nothing broke and we had a lot of crystal. If in doubt hire them from Joe the estimator to George, Coffee and Amelia, they were all real professionals.

Terrible, terrible moving experience.
However, as soon as I posted my complaint on Unilocal!and contacted the company, they showed a side that I never expected based on my moving experience. I even received a call from the owner, Francois. The corporate side of this company is wonderful. They went above and beyond to make sure we came to an agreement. I built a great relationship with Frank from corporate– he was very professional, understanding and made sure we had frequent communication to check in how the case was going. We reached a monetary agreement in return to me removing the original Unilocal!posting I had uploaded. It is necessary that you, as a customer, know that the corporate side of this company will not fail you. Thanks again!
