Super friendly staff and one of the best selections of frames I’ve seen around in a long time. I really enjoyed speaking with Dr. Pacheco and Michael, both were helpful.

This used to be called South Florida Vision and the new owners and name of business has changed to Prooptix and what a great change since a previous visit. Did not have to wait at all and was taken in within 2 or 3 minutes of arrival for appt. Very thorough and extremely friendly from the receptionist to the Doctor and the Optician when choosing new glasses. Was not rushed and very satisfied with my whole experience, and would not hesitate to recommend this vision center to anyone. It is very difficult to find a business today that makes you feel right at home and this is it.

I went in to check my prescription and get a new pair of contacts. Staff was very friendly and I was in in out quickly. Thank you and keep up the good work. — Tim

What an absolutely terrible place… I choose this business only because it was the closest place to my work that accepted my insurance(probably not a good method for choosing a optometrist). I had a 8:30 appointment — first appointment of the day. I arrived at 8:15 to make sure that I could fill out the new patient paperwork. Sadly, the optometrist didn’t show up until 9:15 — an hour after my arrival. The eye exam went very quickly and was uneventful. My prescription hadn’t changed, so the whole exam took less than 10 minutes. The doctor gave me a pair of trial contacts. I put them on and they worked great. This is where the«scam» started… My exam was supposed to be covered 100% by my insurance. I didn’t need to pay a thing according to the front desk when I first checked in. They asked me if they wanted to fill my contact lens prescription and I said no. I explained that I would fill it myself(I can get the same contacts online for a fraction of the cost). That when they told me the first time that there an $ 86 charge for my «contact lens fitting.» What the heck? I didn’t have any contact lens fitting. I walked in with a pair of perfectly fine contact lenses and the doctor gave me a trial of the exact same type of contacts and they were going to charge me $ 86? There was no fitting. Nothing changed! Apparently, the $ 86 would been waived had I filled my prescription there(at their ridiculously inflated prices). I argued for a while and finally gave up and paid the scam. Oh well, I won’t ever go back to this hole.
