Seaside Grill

We tried Seaside Grill recently and it was far better than our expectations. The Food, drinks and service (Peter) was outstanding. It was a bonus to have a couple singing and entertaining. We enjoyed it so much we are returning this weekend. We are snowbirds from NJ for those living here you are very lucky!

Only because the server was decent it gets one star. I used to go to this place quite a few times and returned last night expecting the same quality of food n experience. Well that was not the case… The food took really long to come out and when it got to my table the baked potato looked like it was dried up and been sitting there all night and the twin lobster tails were cold and over cooked and the only vegetable choice was spaggettii squash so I had that and it was more like oil n butter cold mixture of crap so gross sent everything back. Also the manager who was a complete fat slob how he dealt w customers and his dress. I asked for lemon w my lobster tail before I started to dig in and he brought back a tiny sliver of one single not even lemon n I just stared at it cause he did this with the calamari app. As well and he laughs n goes that’s enough right. He was rude as shit. I bought a groupon here cause I knew I was returning here soon and after last night I’m never returning unless new management but to use the groupon value I will sit at the bar get hammered on bottled coronas with a lime. And have a field day and never return lol. Seaside grill you failed big time… 2÷24÷16

Food was fresh and so GOOD‼ EXCELLENT location love the OCEAN view;) Vegan dishes are delicious and clean Lobster tails are very good quality at a fair price‼

We were in Pompano for a short time. We found a coupon for this restaurant and decided to try it. The food was delicious! The service was great too! No complaints!

We went to the Seaside Grill on Valentines Day… maybe that was the reason but we were very disappointed! For the price the value was just not there. My prime rib was thin, fatty and not hot. It came with a baked potato with no butter or sour cream… had to ask for both. My wife’s shrimp scampi was tasteless. We will not be back!

My husband and I went to this restaurant to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We did not like that fruit flies were swarming all over our food, the fish was overcooked, the food was bland and the appetizer tasted like it came out of a can. Nothing was fresh. The chef should definitely find himself/​herself a new career. The staff and management should learn how to manage their staff sufficiently. The manager was more worried about us paying the bill rather than resolving or issue. We felt as if we were judged based on our nationality rather than our worth.

We had reservations for 8:00 pm. Prompt seating. Took a while to get the drink order but not a big deal. Waiter was polite but rushed. Started off with Calamari which was better than most restaurants. Wife ordered Lobster Mac n cheese, I had the fried Sole and shrimp with rice pilaf. Food was presented well and very good. I would give it 5 stars but for a few things. First, when we pulled up it was valet. Great, I prefer to valet and it’s only $ 3 which is cheap for the location. But, the valet wanted the money up front. ?? I valet all the time and this was the first time I had to front the money. We drive a brand new car and are dressed well. Plus, he had my keys! Trust. Second reason for 4 stars. It is very noisy! Not a place where a couple could quietly talk. We had to practically yell. I know! It was 8:00 pm so I expected some noise. But, not that much! Overall, we will be back to try an early or late lunch.

Good food, not the best wait staff. We ate here for lunch and although the food was good, we were fairly confident our waiter barely knew (or cared) that we were waiting. So, if you have a lot of time and don’t care about service– the food was pretty good.

Great food, I’ve had a few of their dishes and I am never disappointed. Great service I eat here often and I have yet to have a bad experience. The drinks are pretty tasty, try the watermelon sangria !

We dined here twice during our week stay on Pompano Beach, primarily due to a $ 10 off coupon we received at our hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good. Cocktails nice also. Nice view of the water and comfortable atmosphere. Only down side was having to hunt for our waitress after our meal to order a final drink and get our bill.

Definitely a long time establishment– has the feel of a 50’s/60’s lounge that’s been kept in good shape all these years. Our waiter Peter was great– friendly, efficient and a pleasure to talk to. The drink specials were good — we got a Carrot Cake martini and Lemon drop martini for $ 10 each both were very good. They had a number of $ 5 martinis as well. Warm bread with dipping oils was served to us quickly after ordering. Shrimp cocktail included 5 jumbo shrimp and homemade cocktail sauce. I ordered the scallops and there were 6 huge ones that were delicious. My friend ordered the shrimp scampi and he raved about it. No outdoor seating but lots of windows that look out onto a pool, with the ocean visible behind it. Good solid restaurant.

We were looking for a nice place to eat that was close to where we were staying. This grill was close and not too busy, so we tried it. The waiter never showed up to get our drink order, and the bartender ended up waiting our table. We had the clam chowder, fire jerk shrimp, side salads with house vinaigrette, the snapper with guacamole and aoli, and lobster stuffed mahi. The chowder was probably the best I have had in this area. The salad was fresh and dressing was tasty. I thought the fire jerk shrimp tasted like red hots, and I think perhaps I was just not accustomed to the seasoning. The shrimp was fresh and had a good flavor otherwise. The snapper was very tasty with the guacamole and sauce. The lobster stuffed mahi was very disappointing. Although the flavor was amazing and tasted great, it quickly became obvious that the lobster stuffing was fake (imitation) despite the price and menu listing. I ate here again the next day for lunch and had the blackened trio sampler (mahi, scallops, and shrimp). The food was amazing this time and well presented.

Great portions and recommendations by our server Amanda. The shrimp appetizer was heavenly. U highly recommend the Blackened Trio. Fantastic service. Great views of the ocean. Will definitely be back.

Do not return!!! Food was cold, bland & over-​priced. Service was better in Iraq. Everything ordered was not as described. No jasmine rice… Settled for hard, half burnt saffron rice (barf). Pecan crusted fish dish was a miss. Mahi Tacos were the best thing we had. Chef came out of kitchen looking disheveled, dirty & sweaty… Scary thought of what might be going on behind the scenes. Waitress made a drink ordered at tables & handled all ingredients w/​o gloves. Seems like Mike’s post was right about this place!

Food very good and prices decent but service a bit rushed. We started with dinner salads and meals served while we were still eating them. Overall, still a good meal.

Great location for wedding parties, business meetings and birthdays. The menu is fantastic. I love the Blue Room!!!

My fiancé and I were looking for a place to have dinner and came across Seaside Grill online. The reviews here were pretty good. The restaurant is located within a timeshare/​condo place on the beach. We were concerned about parking, since it’s right on the beach, but it wasn’t a problem at all.
The service was good here. Our server, Amanda, was already taking care of a large party of 12 next to us. But that did not hinder her service to us in any way. She was prompt and helpful throughout the meal.
My fiancé ordered the caribbean shrimp appetizer, which you can have in mild, medium or hot. He likes spicy food, so he got the hot version. We thought it would be grilled shrimp, but it’s actually made in a creamy, caribbean sauce and comes served in a little cast iron skillet. Although it wasn’t prepared like we thought, it ended up being delicious. He liked the spice, and I tried one (because I’m a wuss when it comes to spicy food). The flavor was very good, despite the heat.
We also ordered a couple cocktails: mango margarita for me and rum runner for him. They were both delicious and had just enough punch to remind you there was alcohol in there.
For our meals, he ordered baby back ribs. The meat literally fell off the bone. He was very satisfied with his meal. I had the snow crab legs, and they were delicious. The portion was very generous also.
We enjoyed the meal very much. There was a Unilocal deal, which also helped with the price. I paid $ 10 for $ 20 off our meal. Although the prices were not unreasonable, it’s always nice to pay a little less. We’d like to visit again before the sun goes down so we can take advantage of the seaside views. Overall the service and food are very good and worth going again.

Cool vibe, relaxed atmosphere is my first impression. What a great spot for sunday cocktails with my friend russell. Good choice he had to come here! There’s a plentiful amount of tables and seating outdoors and of course the beach within 20 yards. Gina galore was our server she’s a hoot! It started raining so everyone came around us at the bar which only made my date squeeze in closer. thank you rain gods! !!! I would definitely come back. it was a fun time!

Where do I start, the view is fantastic. The food was delicious. My wife and I had the seafood sampler grilled (Shrimp, Scallops, Mahai) & Steamed Clams came with some sort of broth, oh they were awesome, it was enough for 2 people to share and have room for a desert (key lime pie). My wife is on a diet, so I am too when dinning with her LOL. We left satisfied. The price is just right.
The staff was great. I think our server was new, she could just relax a little, a little more personable would be nice. Other than that she was great. Kept drinks filled, very attentive, etc,
We used the discounts on Unilocal free $ 5.00 martini for checking in and the $ 10.00 for $ 20.00, I even bought 2 one for my wife, with no problem and what a deal. We bought them just before going over to there.
