Went for dinner. Had an amazing mahi mahi pasta but the mussels and service left something to be desired. Took 45 min to get entrees and the mussels tasted like sandy ocean water. I’ll probably give them another try during happy. It is a beautiful view.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars ! Went here with my parents and brother who are from up north. Located off riverside, and right across the intercostal from Houston’s. Man oh man is this place good! And the service is EVENBETTER! When you go, please ask for Tim! He’s everything a server should be. Knowledgable, friendly, attentive. yet laid back(and not too pushy like some servers are). He doesn’t hover above you either ! The food here is above superb. The only negative side I would see here is lack of parking. Unless you get to the restaurant as soon as they open, you will have to valet. If you use another businesses parking. You run the risk of being towed. Menu selection is great; The hazelnut gelato, cappuccino, Mediterranean mussels and salmon special are exceptional ! I highly recommend their peach mojitos. They even have ciaprihinas!(Brazilian national cocktail). Speciality wines and champagnes. As well as both seafood and steak/lamb. Something for everyone. They also play some sweet disco music. And even have dancing on select days. I didn’t have a chance to check out their inside bar other than peering through the windows. But it looks A+. Staff of Sunset Catch. You guys are doing everything right ! Keep it up!

What an amazing place not to expensive. My hubby and I came to watch the sunset arrived around 7 and the sun set around 7:45. Beautiful view of the water and the sunset. The food was great I had a Caesar salad with huge shrimp. My hubby had lobster ravioli both were awesome. Great portions you get full but not stuffed. Our waiter was awesome very friendly! I recommended the pomegranate Martini. It was tasty and the bartender was not shy on the liquor. Altogether great place you should definitely visit at least once

One word: AMAZING! After spending the weekend in Pompano, and eating out every meal, we finally struck gold. Amazing comes at a price, but it is worth every penny. The lobster bisque and the lobster mac and cheese are a must. The seafood is fresh, the pasta is made in house, and desserts are to! Service is wonderful. At first I was a little annoyed by the server going over practically the whole menu, but he was actually spot on with all of his recommendations and helped to better understand what the dishes were. Our glasses were never empty and our server kept refreshing our drinks due to them watering down quickly because we sat outside. We chose patio dining so we could look out onto the water and watch boats passing. It was early evening so there was a nice, cool breeze. This is a nice restaurant for a quiet evening out. It’s at a $$$ price point but well worth it. It wasn’t at all busy when I went on a Sunday evening and everyone was dressed very casual.

Went late night for dinner. Had Anthony as a waiter and he was one of the best. Sat inside and there weren’t many people there at the time which was not the norm from what I was told. Anthony had some awesome off-menu specials that he explained in full detail. He had great knowledge of each item and how it was prepared. Lobster Mac and Chs was an amazing dish. Lots of lobster meat on top. Very rich dish but worth filling up for! Will be back very soon.

Went on a Saturday night sat on an outside table and the scenery was very nice, that’s about it if you want good food please just go across to Houston’s because you will not find it here after having spent around 300.00 in food and wine we were extremely disappointed. Now when we are in that area we go to Houston’s instead, so do yourself a favor and don’t spend your money here. ’

Lobster mac and cheese and the lobster ravioli was delicious! It’s a must try! The restaurant it self is more of a older crowd. It’s best to set outside and enjoy the atmosphere if your younger then 30.

Standing on the dock at Houston’s with my wife waiting an hour and a half to get seated I noticed this restaurant across the way. I called and they had availability on the terrace overlooking the intercostal immediately. We went over and what an awesome surprise. The ambiance was just fantastic the service(Anthony) five star. Mario the owner worked the floor talking with all of the guests and what a nice guy. The food… FANTASTIC!!! OMG all fresh and the flavors over the top.

Wow! We were looking for some place we hadn’t been before and found this treasure… Amazing food, service, atmosphere & entertainment… completely surprised and satisfied! Our server, Mauricio, was very helpful & made thoughtful suggestions when asked. Our 15 year-old enjoyed the food and ambiance as well. Every entrée was outstanding, with large portions garnished nicely. The limoncello dessert was a grande finale I’ll have at every visit. We say, «Don’t miss it!»

Wow, this place is incredible! My wife and I made reservations for our 1-year wedding anniversary and the experience could not have been better! For starters, valet parking was very reasonably priced at $ 3(before tip) and the guy was friendly and welcoming. Now on to what made the night unforgettable! Service: The service was outstanding! Our waiter, Leo, was very attentive and courteous. He was knowledgable on the menu and made sure we were well taken care of. We made sure to take good care of him. The night never felt rushed since our food came out at the perfect pace. And when we were finished, we relaxed a little longer and were not made to feel rushed to leave like some places who just want to turn your table. They also give you a steamed washcloth to clean up when your meal is complete; a very nice touch! Food: Easily the highlight of our night! We cannot speak highly enough of Chef Mario and his culinary team. Appetizers — The Coconut Shrimp was yummy and the sweet Thai chili sauce spiced it up nicely! My favorite was the lobster, conch and octopus ceviche. Everything tasted so fresh and perfectly seasoned! Entrées — My wife had the Linguini with Little Neck Clams and white wine garlic sauce and she loved it from the first bite! I thoroughly enjoyed one of their signature dishes, the Sunset Catch Pescatoré! It was house made linguini with a white wine sauce covered in clams, muscles, shrimp and calamari! WOW!!! Our desserts were the perfect way to cap the meal. She had the Tiramisu and it was perfect in every way! I had some hazelnut gelato which was also outstanding! The food was all plated beautifully and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Drinks — We didn’t drink too much, but we tried two of their signature cocktails and they were great. The Melon Caperinha and the Hawaiian Rita :) Overall we cannot wait to return to Sunset Catch! Truly the best restaurant experience we have had to date in 2015!

Sunset catch is in a great location with great views. It’s has a awesome atmosphere too. A little after we arrived a couple of guys came out to play some live music on a violin and a guitar and sang some tunes. We really enjoyed it. Appetizers: Calamari consisted of flour dusted rings, flash fried with a side of fradiavolo sauce Shrimp cocktail came with 3 jumbo shrimp on ice with cocktail sauce. Both appetizers were pretty good. Main: Branzino is a Mediterranean Sea bass butterflied and deboned, pan seared in as Sicilian scampi over broccoli rabe. It was decent. The girlfriend went with gnocchi, a favorite of hers. Good stuff and I’m not a big pasta fan. For dessert we split some pistachio gelato. In summary, it wasn’t out of this world but definitely wasn’t bad, 4 stars when factoring in the atmosphere. I was in the mood for fish but probably could’ve made a better choice. I’d go back and try something else.

Beware– Walking dead. Listen up folks, this isn’t the place to bring your bratty kids, or a date for those under 30. This is a high rolling, oldies place. If you don’t wear fancy nice clothes, you will be treated pretty poorly. But get this, food was outstanding. My family and I wanted to try this place out, we thought it was another one of those nice fish places. Once we walked it, all you saw was gray hair fancy people. When we sat down after a few jokes, we didn’t see a server for about 5 minutes after we ordered the hostess asked if they can take one of our chairs because it matched better with another table, how tacky is that? Any ways, we waited about 30 minutes for food because they had a party behind us, and best believe we were thinking of leaving. After we got served the food, it was amazing. Quality was fresh and used ingredients you always think other restaurants should use. Besides feeling underdressed(business casual), not wanted, and a ridiculous time waiting for food, I may consider coming back.

Lovely place. Great food. We sat inside on the row of Banquet seating. Nice romantic touch. The staff was very accommodating and combined components from two different appetizers to customize one for us. Homemade pastas were well prepared, sauces were flavorful. our entrees were both filled with plentiful quantities of seafood. The singer was great and added to the cool ambiance.

It seems the place change name. I guess the name is «the rusty hook Tavern» The waiter told me they open today with a new fancy chef. The place is all new with a typical marina restaurant look. New rusty look. The Chef is good and the servers really give a good insight of the menu. My fiancé and I had the appetizers«crispy octopus» and the«smoke beef tartare» Both were awesome. You can tell from the presentation they are doing their best. The main courses we had were the pan seared daily catch(sword fish) and«the five spice salmon». And they both were great. Then me and Tara had the White Russian chocolate cake. It was perfect to set and keep the sweet and sexy mood all the way home ;)

Beautiful new restaurant in Pompano Beach, nice large bar with a modern and bright interior overseeing the intercoastal. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors with a covered patio. Friendly service and a very nice Happy Hour($ 5 cocktails, beer and apetizer specials), I tried the orange and Pomegranate Martinis — amazing! Also had the Hour Hour mozzarella Caprese and SO had the calamari, very good, will definitely be back to try more from the menu. Complimentary valet, however there is also free parking right at the building.
