Seems like a pretty standard lunch stop, although perhaps a bit expensive. I will say that the lunch specials come with soup or fries, which I declined in favor of my waistline, so I could have had more food for my dollar. I had a chicken sandwich with ham, swiss, and pineapple. Not bad, chicken wasn’t too dried out, pineapple was a nice touch… but it really wasn’t that much to write home about. I was looking for something other than a greasy burger and fries for lunch, as travel food is catching up to me, and I’m tired of Subway. My order was takeout, but service was pretty quick, so that was nice. I’ll probably stop back, as I’ll be in the area for a while.

Stopped by there back in June with my aunt and uncle. I forget what I had, but the food was quite good for the location; I gave my compliments to the chef. I think the best part was the atmosphere, very friendly; it was a bit of a slow Sunday, and the owner sat down with us after we got our food for a little bit and we talked for a while. Nice girl. Service was great, and it felt like a nice place. I’d go back.

We grabbed lunch here on the way out of town and it was pretty good; we also took advantage of the $ 7 burger special. I enjoyed an unnamed one that I was warned was«really spicy» and it was delicious. Service could have been faster, but it was casual and laid back. The waitress was friendly, and while the place does have a quiet feel, if you’re thre with some friends just to chat, it’s a reasonable lunch.

COnsidering the location and the food selection this place is a 3.5−4 star joint. We arrived on Easter Sunday to find this place serving lunch. We had the Teriyaki Burger

The food was ok. Service was SLOW. I almost went across the street to the bank for cash because I didn’t want to wait for the bill anymore. Small selection of diner quality foods.

We happened to find Rick’s Place on our way to the annual Coast Savers beach clean-up. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised to hear the sounds of old-timey jazz playing. An old couple(?) were playing New Orleans jazz as part of a Port Angeles Jazz festival. Both were good singers and played their piano and trombone well and took us kids back to a gentler time. We ate salad, fried mushrooms and clam chowder. We swilled Arrogant Bastard and margaritas and felt no pain. The house band stopped over to see us and chat and were just amazing, wonderful people. I’d definitely stop again.
