I’ve been here about 5 times and, while the staff is polite and understanding, there are several issues. The first issue I have with this place is the halibut. While the cod is pretty ok, the halibut and some of the other seafood items they offer literally taste exactly like frozen fish fillets from your local grocery store, I suggest they find fresh fish or just remove it from the«menu», which happens to be my second problem; what they use is the poorest excuse for a menu I have ever seen. The«menu» consists of a jumble of disjointed words all stacked up like pancakes with extremely odd and repulsive items such as «chicken strip bacon cheeseburger». All in all, most of the food is(somewhat) decent but gives me a stomach ache everytime and just has a hard to explain greasy disgustingness to it, and while I’d stop here as a last resort; I’d otherwise take all chances to avoid it at all cost.

The food was amazing! My wife had a burger and i had the fish and chips. We also had salads. I had a chicken ceaser which had what looked like chicken nuggets, but it was pretty good! My wife had a house salad, which came with gold fish crackers! Unconventional, but delicious. We also shared a shake, it was really good!

Amazing food. We had the dinner-for-two special:4 pieces of cod, two pieces of halibut, 6 shrimp, two sides and two soft drinks. Linda had the sliced tomatoes with shaved parmesean, pickled asparagus, one shrimp and aioli on a bed of spring greens. Delicious. I had the whiskey Dungeness crab bisque. Wonderful flavor. The shrimp were huge with a light Panko coating. The fish also had a light coating and were moist and flavorful. All for $ 29.99. Outstanding value and great service. Got it? Get it.

Chelsea J. told me that they have the best fish and chips. She’s right! I had the halibut and chips, all crispy on outside, heart warming in the inside. She also had the halibut and chips, a whiskey crab bisque, and a mahi mahi burger with onion rings. She loved it so much, she ate all of it! Parking is good too!

Good seafood. Great whiskey crab bisque. Deserts are great. We had the special for two with halibut, cod, shrimp and two sides. Very good. The sweet potato fries were very good. Not a fancy place, but very popular. For desert we had the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Very good.

Really good fish and chips and prawns. It’s definitely a casual atmosphere. It could use some sprucing up. The food was fantastic. The Caribbean seafood soup was special with it’s cocoanut something broth and fresh prawns and scallops. Yum!

The Caribbean Stew is a must! The medium portion is unbelievable. The halibut fish and chips are not greasy and very flavorful. No wonder the clam chowder keeps winning awards. Well worth the drive. Don’t let the outside give you doubts.

Best Burger in Washington State! Ignore the name of the establishment and order the Bacon Cheeseburger with onion rings. You won’t be sorry. And they will cook a great patty for your dog in the car for free while you eat,.

Good food, but the décor is so-so. Thursday night is 20% off for seniors [over 60, I believe], and food specials most nights. Not large, but everything was interesting. I had a salmon burger, spouse had a mahi mahi burger, and the other couple had a large seafood stew and a seafood platter, and everyone was pleased Prices aren’t excessive given the amount of food. Will go there again.

We have been eating at Scampi & Halibuts for a couple of years now and will never go to another fish and chip restaurant as long as this place is in business. When you walk into the restaurant, you DONOT smell that fishy smell many fish places can have. The restaurant is a relaxed neighborhood eating establishment that immediately puts you at ease and feels like home. The food is always fresh and well prepared, no added artificial flavors to cover the possibility of poor preparation or poor quality product. The service is friendly and you never get the feeling that there is a great rush to eat and leave so they can make room for the next customers. The restaurant is clean and has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere conducive to a nice meal with good friends.

I hate to write this negative review but I must be honest about my experience. I was in Ludlow visiting my niece one day and we wanted to spend sometime together so we went to Hadlock for lunch. I had heard good things about this place so we decided to get some halibut, cod and clams. It wasnt fresh tasting like i would expect from most fish places in the Northwest, and the food made me sick. By the time we were done with our food I told the kiddo I might need to stop and get some tums. Oh Lord it was horrible, we went back to grandma’s house where I layed in agony for the next 4 hours. On a positive note: the gal who took our orders was polite and quick to help us and refill our drinks, even though she was the only waitress and they were busy that day. So her good service earned them an extra star. Unfortunately due to my experience though, the food just wasn’t good enough to go back and risk that kind of stomach pain again.

I love this little place. I usually get the cod and prawns. The Caribbean Stew is excellent also. The bacon bleu cheese fries are bomb. The prices are inexpensive. And Dana has got to be the best server in Jefferson County. Go! You won’t be disappointed!

Just discovered this little gem and have eaten there twice already in spite of the fact it is a 45 minute drive from my house! I had the hamburger with peanut butter the first time, and it was fantastic! The second time I had a fish taco which was also very good although I prefer corn tortillas to flour. Both times my dinner companion has shared small oyster plate with me — they are plump, fresh, juicy and not too greasy. Ambiance is fine in spite of being located in a double wide trailer. Place is very clean and nicely lit in the evening.

Very enjoyable atmosphere. Great service, delicious chowder, nice fresh variety of fish. Me and my wife enjoyed the ambiance of this quaint quiet lil seafood diner. Would definitely return for more chowder. The chocolaty good dessert with a hard to remember name was ridiculous in good way– mmmmm!!!

Great local restaurant. Their fried clams are awe-some, salad(with humourous goldfish) and coleslaw are yummy. My husband loves their fish-n-chips and loved their grilled salmon specials. Even my parents really enjoyed their meals when we brought them here all the way from Napa, California. Servers are fast, friendly, and work hard. Portions are large, so bring your appetites. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside, it’s cute, clean, and ready for you to come in, sit down and enjoy your meal.

Scampi’s is a great little seafood spot in Hadlock. The food is excellent and it’s a cute place with character and a hodgepodge décor. You’ll understand once you visit! Prices are good and portions are pretty big. The chef salad with their house made gorgonzola dressing is wonderful. I order it with salmon. There are several choices including chicken, shrimp, and salmon. The salad comes with cherry tomatoes, candied pecans, dried cranberries, and lots of other goodies. For $ 13 it’s a great deal. The seafood stew is excellent. I would highly recommend both of these dishes but everything I’ve had at Scampis is great. Sweet potato fries are very good and not at all greasy. Service is normally pretty good but can be spotty.
