The best sushi place around! Very accommodating. I am a picky sushi eater especially because I hate anything fishy. The owner knows my complicated order so I don’t have to try and explain it every time. The staff is great I have eaten in, taken out and got delivery all were amazing experiences. Would recommend this place 100%

This was hands down the BEST sushi/​restaurant experience of my life. I go out to eat every weekend to different restaurants and when I saw this on Unilocal I decided to give it a chance. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food was delicious! The staff was wonderful and very nice. One of the men making sushi which I presume to be the owner offered my husband and I two free appetizers and a free dessert. We had two different types of spring rolls (both amazing and fresh), white tuna roll, yummy yummy roll and the pj roll and they were all unbelievable! Lastly, we were told to try the Mochi ice cream. We had strawberry and green tea. After trying this unique ice cream experience I can picture having this at least once a week. It is a ball made of rice flour filled with ice cream. You eat it with your hand and the taste is epic. I eat sushi at least 2x a week and this is the yummiest, freshest sushi. This is a must come to restaurant! You will not be disappointed

Tried this place one night due to a slightly drunken craving for sushi with the boyfriend. I’m very glad we decided on this place.
First of all, having sushi delivery so close to me is A+. At first, we both were like «Hm. Sushi delivery?» But took the jump anyway.
I’ll make this review short, sweet and to the point: if you don’t order from here you’re missing out. Big time. The first time we ordered, we got almost $ 70 worth of different rolls and appetizers and everything was amazing. The second time we ordered, we ordered less, and they labeled everything for us! Both times the delivery took a very long time, but it was worth it.
The people on the phone were very nice and the delivery people are nice as well.
I haven’t gone in to eat, so I cant say what the place looks like or comment on the cleanliness or how the workers are with customers, ect.
Overall, I cant wait to order again, and it will probably be for delivery. Haha!

Came here with my boyfriend after work on New Years Day. Great service and very friendly staff! Received free edamame for waiting long for the food which was definitely worth it! Their sashimi is so soft and fresh and simply melts in your mouth. Their rolls were very flavorful and satisfying. Everything is evenly balanced– the fish, the rice, the vegetables and garnishes. Also, we received free Mochi ice cream on the house. The waiter was such a sweetheart.
I highly recommend the PJ house roll!

Love this place. Clean and comfortable. Servers are polite and efficient. Haven’t had any sushi I didn’t like. The best by far is their new roll, the JK roll. I also always get the Teriyaki box.

Went here the other night. Loved this place would go regularly since they opened no more though. disgusting unbearable speakable things running in the restaurant.

We got seated quickly. Had the chicken dinner box and it was great. Chicken was not dry at all. The place is small but the service is absolutely wonderful. I will definitely go back.

This is probably the best sushi and teriyaki you can get without spending a fortune. The place is clean and void of any odor, fish or disinfectant.
Understand that this is not a big place a few tables, sushi bar counter & take out.
The staff are always happy to see you and seat you quickly and prepare your meal quickly.
They offer a lunch special with a nice variety that gives you more food than you can eat for a very reasonable price including soup & salad.
I highly recommend it.

Gave it another try… sorry to report it was forgettable… had the Futomaki roll… very poorly rolled, sloppy. Had the shrimp avocado roll… minimal shrimp if any. California roll was ok, pork goyza comes off like it is microwaved and not made in house. Frankly the sushi you can buy at Uncle Giuseppe’s Super Market is far better, tastes much fresher and more professionally rolled. Sayonara PJ Sushi Teriyaki. Two people for dinner, bill close to 40 bucks with tip and you walk out of there still hungry. Lousy value for your dollar and we were still so hungry we went for pizza right after we left.

Just came here for lunch with a friend and this place is excellent! we both got sushi, and the sushi was fantastic. I got the spicy tuna roll, alaska roll, and California roll, all for the lunch combo price for only $ 10. Totally worth it!
They make the sushi right in front of you, and the people who work here are very attentive and super friendly! Would definitely recommend!

This place is quaint with room for about 6 people at the sushi bar. Maybe 8 – 9 booth tables behind that can seat 4 adults.
I came for lunch and sat down at the sushi bar. I got an amazing lunch special they offered, 3 rolls with a miso soup and a salad for 10 bucks! Can’t beat it!
The food was prepared right in front of me and I could taste that it was all fresh. The kitchen looked clean and the staff was just so friendly. The atmosphere was very enjoyable also. They had a contemporary mix of Chinese/​American mixed music.
All in all a great place to grab a bite to eat and relax with friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere and fresh food! I would certainly come again and try other things on the menu.

Good lord this place is addicting! I dont know how i never seen them show up when i was Unilocaling a sushi place before but ever since they did about a month ago i have been there 2 times, delivery 2 times, pick up 1 time. I love the godzilla 2 roll. I have had the godzilla roll2 2 every time i get sushi from there. I love the mochi. The other rolls i have tried are the spiderman, green dragon, green dragon roll 2, fresh dragon which are good too but my favorite is the godzilla roll 2. Shrimp tempura is good too! Now lets talk about there service… EXCELLENT!!! They are super friendly that i always leave in a better mood because of the friendly smiles and kindness.
So glad i found them! There pricing is good fort he amount of food you get as well.

Top notch sushi restaurant. It’s not huge so not for big groups but it’s cute.
The owners are really nice people and have excellent service.
Listen up Benten and Hana Sushi… This place is much better. They are very creative with the rolls and won’t chastise you for getting the roll the way you want (I add jalapeños to everything).
My go to rolls are the Tuna Amazing, Iron Man, and Out of Control. They are delicious!
I get take out from there 85% of the time, but when you want a nice quiet sushi dinner, hit up PJ Sushi!

Really really wanted to like this place.
We came here on a Sunday afternoon for an early dinner/​late lunch.
Ordered 5 rolls to share. The server was very polite, they even brought out edemame on the house while we waited for our food.
Then the rolls came out… fish seemed fresh from what you could taste in the rolls. Rolls were teeny tiny, and for such tiny rolls they had an even smaller amount of fish. I couldn’t believe it. I wanted to just walk out and go somewhere else but we decided to suck it up and finish our meal. For $ 40 we were extremely disappointed.
