Very nice selection of breakfast items… but your«no debit/credit accepted» sign out front is very unappealing and unwelcoming… if you can’t be inconvenienced to accept your customer’s credit and debit cards, then I can’t be inconvenienced to make an extra trip to the ATM…

Had the most AMAZING steak and eggs Benedict from this FABULOUS restaurant called FLAPJACKS! I was in breakfast heaven. Savoring every bite of steak with just the right amount of perfectly poached egg, smothered in hollandaise sauce. Omg!!! When you walk in the door your treated like family, with love and happiness. Everyone is so friendly, yet quick with your food! I have been enjoying Flapjacks for many years, and have never had a bad experience or unpleasant meal… Whether you order The Flapjack Special or a bacon cheeseburger you will never be disappointed! Enjoy!

Love this place, I’ve been working here for two years now and I can honestly tell you that Flapjacks is the best breakfast place for miles!!! It’s super cheap and the proportions are bigger than ever expected!!! I come to eat here on my days off even! It’s a must try!

Came here for the breakfast rush and it was okay. The service is good but the one thing i dislike is that it is cash only… Especially for such a busy place… The food was also pretty average. Nothing I cant make at home.

Seems to be a very popular spot with the locals there aren’t that many diner type restaurants in the immediate area so I was somewhat skeptical when we first walked in, it appeared to be somewhat drab. We grabbed a few seats at the counter, it was crowed with cake plates filled with muffins and cinnamon rolls and a host of other non edible items offered by the typical restaurant food service provider which aren’t usually in plain view. The wait was between 10 — 15 minutes a little before 10AM but the six stools at the bar weren’t occupied so we grab two of them avoiding the wait. Our server ran the counter and appeared to direct the floor and oversee everything coming through the window from the kitchen. We ordered the special of the day two eggs two sausage patties and three flapjacks for $ 5.95 and a more traditional plate with bacon, two scrambled eggs, wheat toast and crispy home fries for $ 5.25. The flapjacks were exceptional as were the crispy home fries I can say all the food appeared to be high quality and well prepared. I had a bird’s eye view of the kitchen staff and the three of them put out an amazing amount of food in short order. They also have a liquor license so Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas were also available for about four bucks I did see a few jugs of zing zang mix so I’d say the Bloody Mary’s could be a nice choice, the champagne was«Cooks» which mixes with orange juice quite well and what I’d expect for the price. I thought the service was friendly and efficient and the prices are very reasonable. Total time in the restaurant about 30 minutes. I could do this again…

The service has definitely improved since my last review. We stopped in today for lunch around 2pm(rather late since they close at 3). I had the BLT and chose to add fried egg to it. I enjoyed every bite and tried multiple times to entice the hubs into taking a bite. He had the Philly cheesesteak which was delicious! The meat was cooked to perfection and the onions were nicely caramelized. To top it off, the bun was toasted and still as soft as if it was just baked! Glad we gave them another try because we were wowed today.

ITSSO crowded every Saturday and I was so excited – thinking – it must be amazing to be that crowded – but when we finally built-up the nerve to give it a try. There was nothing on the menu that was special/stood out/was extra delicious. It’s your basic breakfast diner/food(i.e. the Cracked Egg) If you want something special – the only place I can think of that has something a little outside of the box is either Monterey Grille just 1 mile down the road or Wake Up Café(a bit further) in New Smyrna Beach. But if you’re in the mood for breakfast/don’t want to cook/not looking for any thrills/just your mundane breakfast foods/and don’t want to drive far – then this is your place. The interior is pretty boring and there are no frills to the decorating either. It’s nothing special and the prices are low – but it’s probably a locals hangout. Still if I’m gonna get up early – I WANTSOMETHINGSPECIAL! It’s a pain in the @$$ to get up early-it better be for a GOODREASON!

Cute lil hole in the wall. Nothing fancy but a good breakfast. Huge portion of Homefries ! I got the 2 eggs, home Fries and corned beef(huge portion of this too) with wheat toast. My friend got sausage egg and cheese on wheat toast. It had 2 large sausage Patties in it. Only drawback is a CASHONLYPLACE !

Great food but be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table any time of day. Serves breakfast all day. The waffles and pancakes are huge but the ham is from a can

This place was relatively busy for a Wednesday morning. Service was good and fast. The food was average to my taste. Also they only accept cash.

Not a bad little place for its location in a strip mall. The kids loved the choices with the pancakes and said they were great. I had an omelette that was tasty but a bit on the flat side. The home fries had a scalloped type spin on the other types I have had locally… But good. However I consider service to be as important as the food. The service was blah at best. A bit disappointing. I expect a smile at least. I’m pretty easy that way. The food was good enough that we will give it another go sometime in the future.

One of the BEST breakfast places I have been to. I always go on the weekend, when they have Eggs Benedict. Unlike other places the Hollandaise sauce tastes like it should instead of all butter. If you want to try the Eggs Benedict, I would recommend you call ahead so that they can hold some for you or else they might be out by the time you get there(that’s how good it is). The Service is Friendly and prompt and the atmosphere has a small town family diner feel.

I visited this mom and pops breakfast spot a few months ago for the first time. I’ve been back since then and haven’t been disappointed. I usually order the breakfast special which consists of 3 pancakes, eggs and bacon. I also order the homestyle potatoes on the side. You’re allowed to seat yourself at any table. Please don’t make the same mistake I did by standing there hoping someone would seat us. Let’s just say we got a lot of stares. I met the owner on my first visit there. He’s very friendly and usually works in the kitchen. Lunch is served as well. My recommendation would be to bring«CASH» because they don’t accept credit cards. Not to fret though cause there’s a Publix atm nearby.

Good place for breakfast. Busy but food very good, eggs cooked right, nice selection. Great for getting away from chain restaurant breakfast. Small, simple diner atmosphere. Ignore whiner reviews, this is simply a good place to fill with traditional American food at good prices.

There are a ton of 4 – 5 star reviews, so I went with high expectations, but felt this place is a solid 3 star. The café is in a strip mall and is small and friendly. I found their pancakes to be average, the bacon below average, and service was good. Overall, it is a small(family owned business?) that is definitely not a chain. The food is good, but not outstanding, but the prices are low.

It’s a breakfast place in a shopping center — how good could it be? Well I’m here to say — pretty dang good. I’ll admit — I looked at the pictures online and then walking in the place I was figuring it would be pretty basic breakfast fare. What I got was the best whole wheat pancake I’ve ever gotten anywhere. Seriously, it was amazing — so amazing that after the first bite I was so engrossed that I forgot to take a picture. I always take pictures. I ordered mine with blueberries inside and it was chock full of fresh berries. The batter was flavorful, with a wonderful texture but also incredibly light. The side of polish sausage was quite tasty too. Marty said his bacon was some of the best he’s had in a restaurant lately. He tasted my pancake and says we have to go back soon so he can get one. Be forewarned they are cash only here but there is a big sign by the door reminding you of that fact.
