Pizza City

AVOID, we had eaten there 4 or 5 times since moving to the area and had good service and good food, however tonight it was terrible. We ordered our food, the 20 wings and a XL pizza special. The wings showed up but the pizza never did. After an hour of waiting for it I went to the counter because the waitress had not checked on us. They said «oh it was put on top of the oven with the deliveries» They threw it on a pan and brought it out. I said «you are going to give me the one that’s been sitting in a box on top of the oven for an hour?» The cook said «oh it just came up»! Well it was dried out, lukewarm, and terrible. We did not eat it. Then I had to go back and ask for a check. When I went pay, the manager said she would take pizza off the ticket, but she only lowered the bill by $ 5 — for an XL pizza! She said the wings should now be full price instead of the price they were with special since I didn’t take the pizza (like it was my fault that we didn’t want the old dried pizza). There was never any real apologetic action on their behalf. The waitress said it was the cooks’ fault (not hers). Their lack of concern for their patrons was shocking.

At best, the food is plain. No flavor on the pizza crust. Spaghetti sauce very different, but not in a good way. Great service when we walked in the door and were seated. Took 13 minutes to get our sodas. Took another 10 minutes for our waitress to take our order. 45 minutes pizza and spaghetti arrived. 10 minutes later we left leaving 90% of the food on the table. Thank goodness we had a frozen pizza in the freezer. Stay Away!

Was in here last Monday night with my family when a big bald drunk man came in. Appeared to be under the influence. He then yelled profanities at every employee in the restaurant. One employee was cursed out and told to leave. I am the manager at a local restaurant and I can honestly say this is the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen. I was in here with my family and will never be visiting this place ever again. My 8 year old daughter was so upset by this scene she later cried. Food was mediocre and overall service was poor considering there was only one server. If I could rate this ZERO stars I would!

I gave 2 stars ONLY because the food is delicious. I used to eat here quite a bit, but the customer service is so awful that I cannot bring myself to spend another dime here. Again, the pizza and wings are good, but the highschool kids running the place are running it into the ground. The waitresses may refill your drink or check on your table if they can be bothered to set down their phone or break away from gossiping and making snarky comments about customers who dared to complain. Also, they handle dirty cash and then touch your plates without washing their hands. The boys in back were spotted, by my wife, assembling salads and subs with bare unwashed hands. One kid touched his face several times as he made a salad. Another sneezed into the air, directly over uncovered food. Thats crazy gross! So, if you don’t mind awful service and questionable health code standards, try the pizza.

Wtf… are the people before me relatives of the owner or good friends?! This place deserves no stars! I just ordered the Italian deluxe had it delivered soggy and not cooked! Well I decided to throw it in the oven for 15min… all the grease made it even more disgusting. I called to return the pizza that has not been eaten and was told they would not refund my money but just make me a new one and send that one out in exchange for the old one (mind you the first pizza took an hour to get here and the second would take just as long). Wait what? Why would I want a new pizza from the same place that just charged me over $ 30 dollars for something so disgusting?! Please take my advice DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! I added the pictures of the pizza out of my oven… seriously if this review doesn’t make you decide look at the pictures! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

This is probably the best pizza shop in Port Orange. We order delivery at least 2x a month. It always arrives hot. The garlic knots are to die for.

Best pizza I’ve ever had and consistent. The salad with thier homemade dressing is fantastic!
The order taker was courteous and the delivery person was polite and clean cut.

This is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had and they have a lot of other options on the menu that are also great. I usually go for the two topping pizza deal with pepperoni and shaved italian sausage but their jalapeño poppers, garlic knots, meatball sub, and greek salad are also above par.

I’ve been ordering here once a week for about a year and lately last 4 times my pizza and wings are cold every time. Very dissapointed! Found a new place Grazianno’s thin pizza also and owner is awesome!

Tried Danielle’s when they first opened, wasn’t happy with the quality, and the dough on their puzzas went hard very quickly as it cooled (no reheat or breakfast leftovers value).
Tried them again this weekend, but the only change was a delivery charge that was $ 1.50 at the beginning of the call, and became $ 3 at the end (knowing where I lived the entire time). Also bought jalapeño poppers which were unfortunately poor, watery inside, and not tasty. When eaten freshly served and still originally HOT, the pizza is decent.
Nice people but not very good food I’m sorry to say.
Added note: Their prices are average to above average, not cheap.

Good pizza and cheap. Always takes awhile even after you expected time but its good so plan for a little more time if your busy!

Heard about the excellent pizza Danielle’s has so tonight I placed an order to try it out, and never got to try it.
We placed an order for delivery and were told it’d be delivered within 45 minutes to an hour. After a little over and hour and a half of waiting, I called in to check on the status of our order. The girl informed me that the driver would be back soon to deliver our pizza. Instead of waiting even longer, I decided to cancel the order as it was getting late. After telling the girl I wanted to cancel, she says to someone in the background, «they want to cancel» and just hung up on me.
Was very excited to try this pizza after all i’ve heard about it, but unfortunately due to poor service and the way the situation was handled, Danielle’s Pizza will no longer be an option!!! To many other pizza places in the area to deal with service like that!

Pizza is best in the area, but servers are so terrible that I refuse to dine there anymore. Save yourself the aggravation and just call in your order for pick-​up.

I’ve been ordering pizza here for years. Formerly Danny’s Pizza City, the quality is still the same and the orders are filled quickly whether placed over the phone or at the restaurant. They serve great New York style thin crust pizza either by the slice or in several configurations with lots of toppings to choose from. Pretty close to home for me, Danielle’s remains my go-​to place for good pizza and calzones.
Whether you’re dining in or taking home, it’s always fast, friendly service and you’ll find the menu full of other options including hot or cold sub sandwiches, complete dinners, appetizers, salads and sides. All tasty and at reasonable prices. Where else do you get a two-​topping 19″ XL pizza for under $ 11? Forget about it!
