Stopped for lunch at 11am on a Monday. One person sitting at the bar top. My dad and I chose to sit at a booth. The waitress promptly introduced herself and asked what we’d like to drink. My dad chose water and I said I’d have a Mountain Dew. The Mountain Dew came in a 12 fl oz can and is charged at 1.50 per can, a little high per can in my opinion. For food dad ordered Paula’s Hog, a breakfast plate that comes with 4 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage links, slice of ham, hash browns, and diced potatoes. I ordered a cheeseburger med-well(1⁄3 pound according to the menu) with fries. My dad said he got a lot of food and was full when the plate was cleared. My burger was big but done medium with a thin pink line in the center with spots of bright pink, the bun that it was on was saturated with grease and the cheese hadn’t fully melted. It was hot though. The interior looks old, like a grandmother’s house. Overall it was rather large portions, and the price reflects that. Would I eat here again if I was in the area? No probably not, but it’s not the worst place to end up.

Excellent little diner. Huge portions and cooked perfectly. I asked for crispy bacon and I damn well recieved crispy bacon that was not burnt. Beautiful. Hash browns were also perfection, crispy on top soft on the bottom(not to be confused with soggy or oily). Coffee was always full, and never had that burnt«I’ve been sitting in a pot too long» taste. Service was great, and waitress was friendly, and allowed me to do a substitution without an extra charge. Price is Right was on, which is immensely preferably to any kind of news station. Would be 5 stars, but I’m kind of a stickler on scrambled eggs. Honestly was more of an overcooked omelette than scrambled eggs. Which may be a thing everyone but me likes.
