All Paws

I regularly take my Chihuahuas to All Paws to get their nails trimmed. They look forward to their visits because they get to interact resident fellow small dogs, get lots of attention and treats from the owner, Julie. She obviously loves dogs and is always gentle with them. All dogs getting groomed seem relaxed and happy too. As a bonus, prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

We love how our dogs look and feel after their trip to All Paws. They are not afraid to go there, and come home very mellow.
We could not be happier with the service, and highly recommend All Paws to anyone.

This place is great. I bring my dogs here every couple months for a quick nail trim (because I’m too afraid to do it myself). Julie is amazing at doing this and the price can’t be beat.

I tried this groomer on recommendation from the Unilocal reviews. It was a big mistake. I’m happy I found a way to post pictures of my Shitzu on Unilocal.One picture is worth a thousand words. Choppy, chicken feet, unsymmetrical face. A First grade child could do better with baby scissors.
When I called and complained, the receptionist hung up on me. They couldn’t have fixed it anyway.
I wasted $ 42 for nothing except having to walk a dog that now looks like a joke.
If you have a cute longer hair type dog. avoid this business.

My doxie, Lilu, had her first ever experience going to a groomer today. I am SO glad I found these ladies! What used to be an expensive and terrorizing ordeal that took half an hour at the vet took all of ten minutes today. There was no crying, Lilu could see me the entire time, and the whole thing was over in 10 minutes: nails, anal glands, bath, and ears. Fantastic! Less than $ 50 for the services, two toy rewards, and tip. Bravo, ladies. You’re our new goto.

This was my first visit and I will never go anywhere else again! They are true dog lovers and treat them as they were theirs. Also thier prices can’t be beat :)

I went to several different groomers in the area trying to find someone to trim my dog’s nails before I found Julie. She is absolutely wonderful! She’s fast (no appointment required), gentle, consistent and big on the treats. On top of all that, a nail trim is only $ 6. Can’t beat it!

We love All Paws. I have been taking my dogs here for many years for regular grooming. The shop is in the neighborhood and julie is always very gentle and kind with both dogs and me too. I’m a worrier about my dog kids. It is also a good drop in place for a quick self service wash on those sandy or muddy days at the beach or the river. Nice doggy spa — great family business.

Fantastic expirience. Came in with our HuskySquad (3 huskies) for the first time and we had a great expirience. Friendly staff, great tubs, and good shampoo. Will be back!

All Paw — Grooming — so so; Customer service — poor. Will not return to recommend.

My puppy’s experience here was awful. I took her in for a nail clipping, and the groomer rushed through the job as if she were clipping branches off a tree. She cut my dog badly with blood all over the place. While an asst was looking for some orange powder to stop the bleeding, she twisted my (now squirming and crying) dog’s leg. We’re never going near this place again!

I’ve been taking my 8 year old Yorkie here for a couple of years now, and they are so good with him! He is blind, and can get nervous in some situations (aka the groomers) — but he has no problem when he goes to All Paws. They treat him like their own and his haircut always looks so good! Worth the commute and wait.

The owners genuinely love their clients — even our 120 pound Golden Retriever! They do great work for a very fair price. Good set-​up for self-​grooming too.

I moved across town and STILL take my fluffy Papillon to All Paws. This shop is really the only reason I cross the river these days!

I am so happy to have found All Paws. They are in my neighborhood, so very close to where I live. There are super sweet to my very sensitive dog and treat her with such kindness. The prices are reasonable and they do a wonderful job of grooming my very hairy dog.

In California it was not a problem to find a groomer that would clip nails and express the glands of our Chihuahua FOR FREE. It literally takes 2 – 3 minutes max and we’d always tip. After moving to Oregon and making numerous calls we found that they are running a racket up here with pet grooming! Every place we called or visited wanted a ridiculous amount for this service which can’t even be classified as ‘grooming’. All Paws was the best deal we could find for such simple service and no appointment is necessary. The staff is super friendly and they are true dog lovers who often have their own well trained dogs in the shop. The place has great energy, just a peaceful caring vibe altogether. After rescuing another Chihuahua through Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals we now bring both our dogs here regularly. We wouldn’t and couldn’t think of anywhere better to have your pets groomed. Excellent service! Highly recommended!

I Recently Moved to SW Portland and was in need of a Groomer for my Toy Pomeranian Named Delano. Needless to say we found the best place for his Teddy Bear Cut, Great Service Friendly Staff Clean Shop Great Price! we will continue to take him Here Thank you Guys We love the look you Provide for him… so does he!!! I recommend All Paws All The Time!!!

We just moved to the area and love the self wash here. It’s no nonsense, and you get what you need to get the job done quickly. The staff has always been friendly.
The first time we went in with our new puppy, one of the groomers was nice enough to stop what she was doing to help us out. We’ve bathed many adult dogs, but it’s been years since bathing a pup. A big pup at that. We appreciated the help, and will continue to use their shop.

First of all, I love my dog more than I love people. I take a lot of time researching his medical care, his dental care, his treats, his food, his vaccines, etc. His grooming is no different!
Julie and Selena are as wonderful as they come. Extremely knowledgeable with breeds and the do/​donts!
I have a Siberian Husky/​Samoyed mix and he uses all his strength when he is in the bath tub as if his life depended on it. His behavior is crazy, he loves the ocean and rivers – any water on his own terms. But bath? He scratches her arms, and the whole time Julie keeps her cool (Selena too, my dog required all three of us to restrain his 43lb furry butt at first – which is less than the 5 people it takes at the vet) and patiently but sternly talks to my fluffy. Over the course of a few baths, my dog already has started to have some calm moments more and moreso each time as he grows to trust he isn’t dying.
I had been bathing him on my own as best as I could (prior to finding All Paws) since I adopted him with no such calm moments! Samoyeds are very attached to their person, and my dog is no different. He is impossible if I am not there – the vets can tell you all about trying to give him vaccines/​drawing blood without my presence and he will not hold still with multiple vet techs and the vet trying to calm him and restrain him. With me there, no one even has to restrain him. He is strong! But he has it in his head that bath time is a terrible time. He is learning such is not true – huskies are stubborn!
I adopted him from the Humane Society and his previous owners never bathed him and his during first grooming at OHS, they cut him really badly behind his ear. Thanks to Julie and Selena’s patience and care, my Westley has come to not dread bathtime the way he used to!
I spent a long time seeking out the most professional and competent groomer extraordinaires and Julie and Selena have a clear and obvious passion for dogs. I will trust no one else!

All Paws is awesome.
My dog HATES having his nails trimmed. He screams, struggles, and acts like he’s being murdered.
I’ve had other groomers try and fail in Portland. My vet tried and gave up, then told me they would need to sedate him to get his nails trimmed. I’ve tried all sorts of things at home to get him used to having his paws touched more often, but haven’t succeeded in making him any better when the nail clippers get near a paw.
The team at All Paws is always awesome. They are fast and efficient and really nice about it, even though my dog makes terrible noises and grows. I am so impressed with how well they handle him— they keep him safe and get the job done and slowly but surely he’s getting better about the process.
I also like their dog wash facilities. The place is very clean and friendly and they are just wonderful. I wish I could give even more stars.
